    Thank you for this ! I’m having problems with the hood section 😢, could you tell me what is the measurement from the beginning of the hood section from , the 3 stitches on the pin to the top of the hood , mine looks small / short . Thank you …

      @@marywhite2407 it should be 24cm, I believe, in the pattern - so instead of the 30 rows after putting icord on hold (but before decreasing) I did 40, to give more depth before starting the decreases, as I knew my decrease section with be shallower

    I’ve definitely woven in a dropped stitch before! I’ve found that it’s less noticeable than the tight column of stitches you get if it’s picked up (especially when it is farther back). No one will know but you! I’m knitting on a test knit - the Kintra sweater. The colours are a bit out of my usual wheel house, but I’m excited nonetheless!

    Hi, I've just discovered your podcast and I love it! Thanks for sharing. I would definitely be interested in the Camilla socks pattern. I'm currently finishing a Lyon sweater by petite knit and when it's done I'll start a colorwork sweater (Tritone) and finish a cabled cardigan (the Willa), both by Sari Nordlund... So our winter projects are pretty similar! The bookclub is on my list too. You make me want to knit a pair of colorwork socks too, maybe the Starflight from pompom magazine. And yay for burgundy! Happy end of year to you! Mari (from Britanny/France)

    The Lumme sweater is one of my bucket list items for sure but I am working up my courage to do colorwork as a newish intermediate knitter. Next on my queue is the Chantal sweater by Moreca knits. I just love the look of the slipped stitches and I've been obsessively looking for the perfect yarn to make it.

    I definitely go through color obsession phases but always within my favorite color ranges.. but yes one month I’ll buy a few different yarns to try from different brands on different days but then they arrive and I realize they’re all shades of cinnamon brown, then a few months later I get a few more and they’ll all be heather gray… one time I went through a shades of sage green & teal phase… and I tend to buy a lot of off white and beige just all the time.

      @@cosybooksandknits Now when I read the pattern, I am not sure I will do it anytime soon because of the steeks. I don't have a sewing machine and I am afraid of ruining it. I should have read the description better before buying it

      @cosybooksandknits 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @ I’ve not done steeking before, so I’m uncertain, but I’ve seen a lot of people use crochet reinforcement instead - that’s much more traditional than machine sewing - maybe you could find a tutorial on an alternative for securing the steek? I don’t think I will use a machine either.

    • @ddb777

    I have so many knitting plans for yarn I have already bought. I’m hoping to make a Book Club Cardigan out of some Paton’s Classic Wool Worsted in a shade called Natural Mix, a taupe-y light brown color. Then I have some fingering weight yarn in two colors that I am dying to make into an Antique Filigree pullover. It has intricate all-over colorwork. I have ordered some rustic wool from Denmark that I’m hoping will arrive soon. I want to make a Tomas Unisex Sweater by Oenling, a Danish company. It’s an all-over cabled pattern in fingering weight held double, so maybe dk weight. I think it’s a lifetime achievement-type sweater for me. That should keep me busy for most of the year, by the time I sprinkle in some smaller projects like scarves and socks. We’ll see how much of that comes to fruition. Thank you for a great podcast. I feel really inspired by it to get started on my 2025 plans. For now, I’m trying to finish up some Pressed Flowers socks that have been on my needles for quite a while. Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays!

    I love all of your choices! I think i have to add a few to my list. My next cast on is Cold Hearts Hat, then I really want to try my first Stephen West shawl and I’ve selected Painted Bricks. I am really thrilled about those because I’ve been very scared of colorwork because I haven’t been able to finish them nicely before, but I am diving back in.
