Thank you for the wonderful podcast, I really enjoyed your taste, the way of presenting and the whole atmosphere. My name is Santa, I live in Latvia, I have a cat named Mr Darcy and am currently knitting tiny sweater decorations for gifts and our own Christmas tree. Have to start knitting socks (normal sized) for gifts, but am unable to stop with the tiny sweaters as they are so quick and therefore addictive. Looking forward to your next episode 🤍
This may be one of my new favourite podcasts! It's been lovely to meet you in this first episode! I'm currently knitting on a Flax Worsted after a busy day volunteering at the local animal shelter. Looking forward to the next episode!
I really like the idea of combining knitting TH-cam and “booktube”. I love reading and knitting and it really felt like sitting down and chatting with a friend ❤
@@ramintamassey9317 I’m so glad you enjoyed, I’m so glad other people are interested in combining books and knitting! I didn’t realise there were so many others out there who also enjoy these hobbies! ❤️❤️
So glad I found your channel :) We seem to have quite similar tastes in knitting and books. I also recently finished Graveyard shift and enjoyed it a lot. Haven't read If we were villains yet, but I plan to. I bought Graveyard shift 80% just for the cover art to be honest 😅 I'm looking forward to more episodes of your podcast 🌸
I've been reading Interview with the Vampire. Really not sure why I haven't picked it up sooner because it's so good and so classic. I've been targeting older books lately.
Happy to have found you! Funnily enough I am (slowly) working on the Heirloom Cardi, the felix is on my pattern to do list and using the same Drops Brushed alpaca on a different project currently! 😁 Loved the video ❤
Congrats on your first podcast. You seem really at home talking to the camera ❤. I’m currently knitting the folklore cardigan, on the final sleeve and cannot wait for it to be done, it’s been a slog! Currently reading Lightlark book 3 and rewatching Lost with my partner.
Welcome! I’m also knitting the heirloom quilt cardigan in drops soft tweed. 😊 So far so good! Very soft yarn. I live in the US. I’m a southern girl . We usually dont get alot of cold weather here. Today is been in the 80s. I’m married and have a dog named pearl. I also have 4 grown girls and 7 grandkids. I’ve only been knitting for a couple of years but love it!!!! Cant wait to see your next episode!
Booktube…yup..and knitting ..have a rescue chihuahua corgi mix and do lots of crafts..retired now..married 50 years, two kids and two married grandkids..enjoyed your first TH-cam !
Burgundy is definitely the colour of the season, so tempted to cast on an oversized cardigan with a maroon shade. I’ve been reading the scholomance trilogy by Naomi Novik and it’s giving dark academia, definitely interested in reading the secret history, and we were villains now that you’ve mentioned it. Such a fun and cosy first episode, looking forward to seeing more 🥰
Hi from Australia! It's early morning here and I'm sitting up in bed with a cup of tea, knitting, with my dog lying across my legs. Bliss. Just came across your channel and love it. Looking forward to the next one. Thank you. ❤So all the best for your channel, Rose. 🌹
Hi from the US and welcome! I’m a fairly new podcaster and knitter actually. I love the idea of you combining knitting and books. I started a Booktube channel under another name that I’ve had going for a couple yrs and yes it is a little cumbersome to have both! I love your projects!!
Great first episode! I was knitting on my Christmas sweater and reached the end and you started talking about SVU 😄 I'm watching new episodes, but catching up on old episodes for the first time as they air on TV again. So now i'm on Season 11. Thanks for keeping me company during dreaded sleeve separation lol
Loved this first episode! I've just finished Cujo, my first Stephen King, what work of his do you recommend next? I'm currently knitting a couple of the purl soho christmas stockings :)
I love your podcast. Hooked and subscribed. I’m at the same point as you on my Heirloom Quilt cardigan. I was watching seaming videos and your channel just popped up! Have you found the seaming easy? Providential. Ha! And I do love Cascade 220 Heathered wool yarn. Reasonably priced and squishy.
I enjoyed your podcast, but please try not to be melodramatic about your knitting. TH-camr’s are getting ridiculously over the top when talking about bog standard things. Divine is not an adjective to apply to a rustic, colorwork cardigan. It’s okay to say I enjoy this, I like this, this has been fun. When everything is a superlative, nothing is special.
@@Lisa-vb3gn As a new knitter, and someone very excited and passionate about my projects, each little thing is very special, and if you find me too dramatic then you’re welcome to move on and not stay. I’m unapologetic about how joyful knitting makes me, and how incredible I find the things we can create. To me, the process of creating a beautiful hand knit piece is divine, and I will refer to my passion with all the enthusiasm I chose. I am not a ‘TH-camr’, this is merely a hobby, so to suggest a stranger changes her way of communicating based on your preference is a little odd. I will communicate the way I choose for the audience who want to hear that and enjoy my personality, but I certainly won’t be amending that for strangers on the internet. I will always be authentically myself in this space - it’s okay to keep your opinions about strangers to yourself. If you think a colourwork cardigan that someone has invested many hours into creating for the first time is ‘bog-standard’ then I feel a bit sad for you and would invite to you to try and find more extraordinary joy in the little things 🥰

Lovely lovely podcast, I love your calm and enthusiasm :) Really looking forward to seeing more cosy content :D
Mmmm... knitting AND books. Love it ❤
Living in Sweden, in the north. 3 kids, 4 cats, 3 bunnies and 12 chickens and 2 roosters. 😊 Knitting, crafting and reading is my core-hobbies.
Love your Heirloom cardigan 👌

Thank you for joining me! I’ll confess, it’s slow progress… I hate seaming 😅❤️ Hope yours is going better than mine!!
I wonder how to make the links in your about section click able for those of us on nibble devices
I think it might be because my channel is new - I’ll work on getting that fixed x
