im going to vegas in 2 months, do u think i have enough time to get a comp stay ?
1:47 I love it when bigger people think its a good idea to walk in boots or high heels.
DO NOT STAY HERE! STAY AWAY FROM HERE
What was your experience? How did you feel during your stay?
Made this trip dozens of times. Might go on Wednesday for nfl kickoff
Should be good weather! Also, I love mid week Vegas! Have fun if you go and thanks for the comment
@@TravelMaximizer I wish it was low 90s but it’s gonna be damn near 105 lol
@SAsh-zg6ln it’s all good! Every casino is cool and you can avoid too much outside time
Any checkpoints

Save water close Las Vegas
I wonder if it would save water if they did close Vegas Interesting comment
The Monorail is great when you want to cover the broader Strip beyond the most densely-populated touristy crowds. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever if you're staying on the central Strip and base your entire trip around the central Strip like many tend to do, but for those who are more adventurous and want to live a little beyond center Strip I find the Monorail a great option. 🙂 The Deuce simply isn't worth it if you're using it exclusively to get from one Strip resort to another. You're simply better off walking in this context. But if you're using the Deuce to get to the Fremont Street Experience, I do think it'd worth it in that context. It can sometimes be tedious and even smothering a commute, but it still beats paying more for an Uber. I've never seen any real use value in the trams personally. It may just be because I'm a fast walker, but even so how much ground are you REALLY covering with any of them? A pretty negligible amount if you ask me. But I guess the novelty of doing it just to say you did is certainly there for first-timers. 🙂 All in all walking is EASILY my favorite of the four options, followed easily by the Monorail. I personally enjoy walking all the way from Mandalay Bay to Sahara at least once every trip (or vice-versa), and it's a great way to get steps in and keep those alcohol and sugar calories in check I've found, as well as keep a pulse on all the exciting changes up and down the ever-shapeshifting Strip. 😇
Such a great comment!
Seriously? You keep showing the same "cheap food options"(at Planet Hollywood) and just change the hotel clip.
Nearby center strip hotels may have similar nearby food options. Nearby south strip hotels will have similar food options if the hotels are close. I try to play a clip for a place I go to eat when I stay in a particular hotel. Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I will keep that in kind for those who may see the same videos like those looking up flamingo and horse shoe.
It's about to get more expensive when the new baseball stadium is built
Could go either way. Maybe it will be cheaper. They have about 8,000 rooms. If I ran the Excalibur I would focus on the cost as much as possible to get all the cost conscious travelers 🧳
I’ve been to the strip many many times never been in Excalibur but every time I walked by it I felt super dirty and needed a shower right after
It’s older and doesn’t get many upgrades but They do a good job cleaning the machines and the common areas. It can be hit or miss though. I do like staying there if even I sometimes stay at Bellagio and Wynn. So I appreciate it for what it is. The location and cost are the best attributes.
This is the most expensive hotel on the strip now.
What price did you pay? I still see rates from 18 per night plus resort fees for non weekend nights. Thank you for the comment
I’ve had different experiences with the deuce, we have rarely had to wait long & they usually weren’t overcrowded that being said though, if I was just going to the next casino I definitely would walk but if we were going from the south end to midatrip,or I wanted to get down to Freemont street the bus is the way to go.
Thanks for the comment!
@@TravelMaximizerTook the monorail for the first time yesterday, I like it, may use it exclusively for just cruising up & down the strip from now on, I like how it doesn’t stop every two blocks like the bus & isn’t affected by traffic. Thanks for the recommendation!
Hat is the fkn resort fee. ...why not include it??? Foh👎👎👎
That’s how the prices are quoted. I guess it’s like flights when you look up flight prices they often don’t include seat selection or check in luggage but still add up to the total ticket price. All the Vegas strip hotels have resort fees. The lower end ones like Excalibur from mgm has a resort fee of about 35 per night. The higher end ones from Cesar’s or mgm have resort fees at almost 50 per night like for Cesar’s palace or Bellagio. Thank you for the comment.
At 1:03, IMO, I would add Wynn to the "Mid strip"
Would you really? It’s basically in front of the circus circus. I stayed there 4 nights last year and it was a long walk to the miracle mile and Bellagio. Maybe 30 minutes or more for slower walkers. It’s a really nice hotel and has a free water show from the check in lobby at their giant water fall.
Hello my friend! Do you know where can I buy technology on the Strip? I saw a Best Buy but very far away from there. Thanks and regards from Argentina.
Hi, yes in America the main store to buy electronics is Best Buy. If you try to buy electronics on the strip they will be very high priced. You are better off taking an uber to bestbuy if you want to buy something expensive. There are a few targets on the strip but I don’t think these re the ones that sell electronics although normally target does sell laptops and video game consoles if they are the normal large targets. The city targets are smaller versions more like a cvs. If you want to buy small things like memory cards or phone chargers then maybe a cvs or general goods store like ABC stores on the strip will have something like that. Good luck and have fun in Vegas!
@@TravelMaximizer Thanks a lot for your kind a rich reply!
You are welcome!
I have been playing multiple games for over 2 years. I’ve redeemed them on 2 different trips. The rewards are legitimate. Tips: always read the terms & conditions before purchasing. The free night, free play, free food or shows, are the best way for a low roller to feel like a high roller. The SPA discount was a let down because although the discount applied as stated, the cost of the massage was WAY more than I would have spent (my fault for not checking the prices ahead of time).
Good info thanks for the comment
Where’s the sphere
Near the middle north of the strip. On the side of the Wynn hotel. It was not open at the time of the video. Thank you for the comment!
BALLYS. ITS A DUMP. NO SPORTS BOOK
It’s not my favorite.
What about parking? I would like to explore outside of Las Vegas
Parking is 18 per day for weekdays at most hotels. More on weekends.
I have 3 hundred thousand points.. going next month.. party time 🎉🎉🎉
That’s great! I recommend 100 dollar free play if you are paying for your stay and staying 3 nights at a hotel that has free play rewards. Like mgm grand, Bellagio, Excalibur, Luxor and others. 2 for 1 buffet at Excalibur is a good deal and decent buffet if you are staying close to that. Have fun!
Horrible public transit. Monorail could be so good if it ecxtended to the airport and downtown
That would put taxis and uber out of business. I’m sure the city makes a lot of money from that too. Airport is so close too. Right across the street from Luxor but you can’t walk!
My mom and i like the tram and monorail
I do too thanks for the comment
Just can't wait!!!
Have fun!
I used to stay there when it was the Monte Carlo
I never stayed there but I did play the slots!
No one cares
thank you for the comment
😂😂😂😂
hahahaha
They aren’t free either..
Thank you for the comment. What cost did you pay and who did you pay it to?
@@TravelMaximizer it was last year and it was the tram behind the MGM grand. Don’t remember how much it was , want to say around $20 ( it was a few day pass.
@JohnnyReno71 yes! That’s the monorail. That one is much better and goes through the entire strip. The cost is reasonable for what you get but it can be a long walk to the monorail from the strip so it only comes in handy if you are going farther distances. The trams are free and go only 2 stops. You can catch them inside the Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur or the other one is in the park mgm and goes to aria and the bellagio which is center strip. Thanks for the comment!
@@TravelMaximizer I’ll have to check that out out thanks
Although this place does get so much hate one of the best parts about it is the amusement park that’s the inside of it and it does have some pretty cool rides and amusement park games
Thanks for the comment
Just did this last week to get from Mandalay to Caesar’s. It’s pretty easy…beats driving
Thanks for the comment!
I will be there on Sep😊can't wait!😜🎰🍻
Stay at the Apache or 4 Queens! No resort fee?
I've found the Deuce to be the most useful for Strip travel, but it is the city bus & you should know that going in. Public transit can be an adventure. Monorail is great, but limited - and unreliable in rainy winter conditions. If you're up at the Sahara/Westgate area or need to get up there from the Strip, it's golden, but otherwise not really useful - especially considering the walk to the rear of some casino and back. I've seen Monorail cars stuck on the tracks for over an hour in the cold rain. Maybe have a pee and grab a drink before boarding if it's gloomy out. Oh, and you do get some great views from there. Free trams are nice and all, but super limited for destinations. Hyperloop is promising and works well within the CC. It's being expanded at the moment, and should be opening stops at the Westgate and Resorts World awful soon. Legend has it that it will go to downtown and the airport at some point in the future.
I love this place
I wonder if there is a payout rate which might even be required by law. I've heard that the payout rate for slot machines in Las Vegas is well over 90%. I wonder if that's the case in New York too, or if they might have a lousy payout rate because everyone says you never win there.
Are those trams two way?
Yes, they go both ways! Thank you for the comment!
I stayed there many times, I would give it a 7/10. I remember when me and my family was unpacking, my sister was in the restroom putting our toothbrushes in there. Well she accidentally dropped something on the floor, when she went to pick it up. She saw a used vape and condom on the ground, under the counter. They were of course not ours. When my dad was telling front desk what happened, they did nothing. That was just my family experience there. Everything else was amazing.
7/10 is fair! I would give Mandalay Bay 8/10 and Bellagio 9/10. MGM Grand gets 6/10, Park MGM gets 5/10 from me. Thank you for the comment!
AKA the Monte Carlo.
It used to be the Monte Carlo! Yes remember that smell walking in? Classic.
Empire city and it’s 20 minutes from my crib and I live in Manhattan and I take the A here all the time but this is NOT the only casino in New York and there’s a walk way in the casino to take the A to get back
Thank you for the comment!
i go there every month its os fun and my pearents love the casnos
Will the NCL rewards for cruises be returning after February 2025? I already have a cruise for 2025. I would like to use my points for that $500 off a cruise at the end of 2025 or early 2026.
I have only tried the vegas rewards. I have seen free and discounted cruises but with cruises there are always catches so it's outside my expertise. Sorry and thank you for the comment
All of it. 😊 Seriously: it's the Strip. It's all about livin' it up and livin' it good: which means variety adds spice to life and seeing everything that four-mile stretch has to offer. Life's too short to just stay put in a singular small patch of it. Every time I'm there I literally stroll all the way from Mandalay Bay to Sahara. 😊
Thanks
Top 5 for Dirty Rooms
Sorry you didn’t like it. When I get a room that should be cleaner, I immediately go back to the front desk and request another room. I have had that happen in almost all the hotels in Vegas. Especially if I check in on a Sunday
It’s psychotic? Say what!
All you need to know is it’s a wholesome hotel
"The bus" you considered only the Deuce and ignored the bus network, which also includes service to the airport and the city. The bus shelters have a code so you can text and get the wait time for the next buses.
Thank you for the comment and additional info to help others out! I have not tried those.
just like me
Thank you for the comment!
I have only been once. We walked. Parked at Luxor. Walked to Aria and back. It is a long walk
"Really?" *Remembers how long it takes to walk through it. "Oh yeah, it definitely is."
Are kids allowed in the pool?
Yes, thank you for the comment
No problem, thanks for replying back.. how come on the website it says that only 16+ is allowed in pool? My son is 6 and we will be staying there next week 😅
@EfootballC7 ok then maybe I am wrong. I searched online and saw it was a yes but if belagio specifically says no then that’s all that matters. I was at Mandalay Bay last week and it was like a kids paradise. It’s almost like adults are not allowed in the pool. Next week I am staying at mgm grand and they have a huge lazy river. They for sure welcome families
@@TravelMaximizer you were right kids were allowed at the pool in bellagio I was just wasn’t sure bc on their website it says only 16+ is allowed 😅 lol .. but I loved it definitely very nice hotel and my son actually enjoyed the pool too so did I it was very nice
