Great job, brother. If he less ambiguously professed his faith, it would be just the thing his detractors would continually cling to in dismissing him. My sense is that he believes but wants to know exactly what that means. And if you dig that deep, you'll likely find more questions than answers. Mystery will always be a part of our quest to know God.

Thanks man! I agree that his opponents would use a straight forward profession of faith to dismiss him even further. And while I also agree that "Mystery will always be a part of our quest to know God," there is a certainty in the simplicity of the gospel of Jesus that should not be overlooked or dismissed as being too elementary. Thanks for watching and commenting - I appreciate it.

Thanks for sharing, and solid takes throughout. I never knew the extent of Ravi’s wrongdoings (200 victims, thousands embezzled). It really underscores the importance of walking in the light and living in community. This is a profound account that causes me to reflect upon my views. We are all sinning saints, striving for the highest heights and all falling short. How much should we allow Ravi's sin to negate his kingdom work? Isn't that what Satan would want, for the Kingdom work to be negated?

I just started to listen to God's word through Ravi again. Thank you Lord,Amen hallelujah and praise the Lord.

David had a heart after God and had the affair with Bathsheba. Psalm 51 was written by his heart. His insight still stands. Im not condoning --not at all. The great condemnation is coming from John MacArthur in his holier than thou burning words from his pedestal filled with a know it all condescending tone. At 19: 12 " It might be a time for all of Christendom to tee off on Ravi because he deserved it. " Really? Ever hear of that Man from Nazareth who said something about stone throwing?/ Man of Faith here--believe me not perfect --but TV evangelists 99% of them anyway are a part of my past. Doing away with Confession and Accountablity---(21: 22 in this link--)....well that is true. Maybe we need confessors --seems like the Roman Church has that---and yet mega Churches on more than one occasion bashes it. Maybe the Roman Church has something after all. There aare lot of double standards in the evangelical world. If folks are not busy enough hating Catholics, they are busy talking about how to " get saved" and bounce around in this wholesome and homogenous world of Christain Colleges and Church crowds stuffing themselves with carbohydrates on Sunday after mega church "services" --all of it living up to a sterotype which the world sees and the Evangelical world certainly lives up to. Seems like we all need to have accountability---without class "karen" type of manipulation. There is enough of that to go around. i While we speak of Ravi--be wary of those who use this as on occasion to set up shop creating yet another vacuum filled with manipulation and guilt and pompous attitudes excluding people . Confession----pops up here a lot. We all need accountability with a friend/ prayer partner. it diffuses the near occasion of sin. Trusting somebody with out weaknesses is THE place to start. Again, The Orthodox and Catholic Churches have been doing this since day one. ( Im not talking about saying 3 Our Fathers and being doine but real confession.) Maybe these ancient Churches have something that Christendome should embrace---as the point of it is to talk to another believer in the Lord---and grow in Faith and pray for one another. " Whose sins ye retain are retained, whose sins are forgiven are forgiven" --Yep that man from Nazareth had it set up for us---now THAT would get us out of our homogenous bublles wouldn't it? Christs Holy Church did this --time to bring it back. Yep for all of us---

May I make a gentle suggestion: let his family defend him even a little bit? Nathan Zacharias has some evidence that is pretty significant it's not quite the way it has been framed. @@indigatorveritatis5298 I think what struck me was the deliberate use of Ravi's list of Thai phrases by the law firm. I think it has been greatly exaggerated.

@@salvationandstuff that's fine. Each to their own. If you read my comments thoroughly, you'll see I said I believe he's guilty of misconduct, but I think it's over-exaggerated. Nathan did address and sufficiently the claims Ravi gave extravagant gifts to his victims. It's little details that set my teeth on edge, and paint a somewhat different picture. I'm not going to back down even if the whole internet gangs up on me - there's more to the story than what RZIM released. We have believed a skewed version of the facts. It irks me no one seems to be allowed to defend Ravi even slightly, or give his family a chance to defend him. It's been a throw him under the bus job from the get go.

USE GOD'S GIFTED MUSTARD SEED: We all benefit from the deep-dive research inside mortal work and actions - ON ALL FACULTIES (mind, spirit, body). This vid-author states, "Ravi was an honorable, wise, and intellectual speaker . . ." Then the author ends that thought with the question, "How did Ravi get there?" I argue a FULL STOP HERE to state, Ravi did NOT "get there". Rather, Ravi WAS ALREADY THERE . . . By investigating infested habitual predatory and parasitic mindsets to explore, discover, and admit the fall of Christendom WITHIN WE - 'THE BRIDE OF CHRIST' - ask, "Are we willing to confess OUR COMMON DUPLICITOUS LIFESTYLES?" . . . Jesus led by example turning over the tables of people's agendas inside the temple SHOUTING WITH OUTRIGHT AUTHORITY, "IT IS WRITTEN, MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER, BUT YOU HAVE MADE IT A DEN OF THIEVES." NOTE: These Jews were OUT IN BROAD DAYLIGHT LIVING THIER DISSONANCE IN THIER DARKNESS. As this duplicitous lifestyle strangles our minds we are not fooling God, but, instead, we CHOOSE to satiate in our dark apart from His Light. Instead, turn around to get 'real and raw.' HOW? With consistent accountability, honesty, and humility thought-by-thought and step-by-step . . . We are forgiven and 'get to' abide grateful as we get our 'temple' aligned to behold our mind, spirit, and body surrendering and conforming to Christ's Mercy AND Grace for HIS GLORY. Matthew 11

Many pastors have chimed in with regards to whether Ravi was really a Christian or not. Some say he was never a Christian because they say how can he continue in ministry without the Holy Spirit convicting him of his sins. Those who don't believe in eternal security would conclude he lost his salvation. The narrator of this video believes that Ravi was a Christian who walked in darkness until his death. I haven't made up my mind yet. But I do know wherever Ravi is right now, he will stay there for all of eternity and he will give an account to God for everything that he did while he was alive.

This is tragic. Some things are very hard to understand. My heart aches for Margie. They used to go to our church in the 70's before they moved to the States. He was deeply respected and loved. I know we can't be naive. I know we're all sinners in need of a Savior. I understand we all struggle with sin. But I can't understand this. I wasn't a follower of Ravi, but years ago my friends went to a church to hear him, so I went too. It was distressing. The Lord wasn't there, and I didn't understand why. Ravi was animated and preached with great earnest; but his words seem to just fall to the ground. It was very distressing. No sinful pleasure is worth this. 😥

June 17,2024 Just listened to your podcast and was blessed by it. For I also was a listener of Ravi. He came into my life at a time his words hit home and I thought he was a true man of God. He made sense. But we are all born in sin. I was broken and saddened when I heard the news of his "2nd life" hidden from the world. But like all of us, he also will have to stand before God one day and give an account and God is our final judge. We only get one "life" to live, and that is to live it to honor our Lord and Savoir, Jesus. We should take that seriously.

Amen! Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment! Indeed - We "only get one "life" to live, and that is to live it to honor our Lord and Savoir, Jesus."

I throughly enjoyed and DID learn about Christ and apologetics from Mr. Zacharias, and i feel one of the most wonderful parts of RZIM was Nabeel Quereshi and he was quite important to me yet am glad he didnt experience the downfall....😢

I am a better Christian (partly) because of his teachings, and I can be even better by also learning from his shortcomings. He is a celebrated figure, and towards the end I think he started to believe in his own myth. His own strength. He fed his flesh more than his spirit. Seeking God purely from an intellectual pursuit will dry the heart as (i believe) did for Ravi. This faith is about surrendering, faith and trust in the Lord. If it is 100% cerebral, it will be in danger of becoming transactional.

I don’t believe this narrative. Why defame a man after his death. Why didn’t they sue him while he was alive.

Here’s the end all to the sick and tragic life of Ravi Zachariah, it showed that he knew that everything he professed wasn’t true.

Corruption is rampant everywhere including the church , the church cannot join with world leaders or worldly things , thats where apologetics is not right , you cant intellectualise salvation.

I always respected Ravi, and I still do, he made me love God more than anyone, yes he was just a man and a sinner as we all are, no human being is free from sin. God is merciful to all of us when we repent
