Why There's 2 Versions of Ms. Pac-Man on the NES and Which is Better?
The long awaited sequel is finally here. Ms. Pac-Man is generally seen as an improvement over it's predecessor, and that thankfully also applies to the NES port of the game, or well one of them. This is the last version of The Galop (Can-Can) from Lemmings that wasn't available online, until now! It comes from an unofficial Palm OS port of the game from 2001, developed by Aaron Ardiri & Chip Kerchner (no affiliation with Psygnosis). I have to say for how limited the Palm's sound hardware is, it doesn't sound bad. Unfortunately, this is the only song in this version of the game.

Strangely enough, the Zx spectrum, MSX, C64, and other versions all had come out around the same time during '88 and still perplexes me on why the C64 port is the only 8-bit version that has a scroll to it and at least it's much better than the NES version graphically for better or for worse since they all have similar hardware.
“The NES version is way too hard.” No, no it’s not. The NES version is actually way easier than the arcade version. I am able to pass way more levels than I ever could in an arcade run. The NES version of any arcade game is just so much easier than the arcade for me.

@@idkany293 the original video has quite a few problems. Akward transitions, imbalanced audio, etc. This video improves this issue while also featuring a crisper, newly recorded, voice over in the final half of the video.

This video should mostly help th-cam.com/video/gtpdaonk4iM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=at-fOaIsi_B6jC0m I recommend that you install RISC OS 3.71 since it's compatible with the most games. You'll also need a program called SparkPlug to play games like this. You can get that from the download in the linked video's description. Other games, like Pac-Mania, come as adf files which you just have to insert into the emulators floppy drive to play.

Low-key the NES version of this song is great, and the MSX does sound quite bouncy with it's synth, but my favorite is the Genesis version as it has more clearly disdinct channels to listen to the song
