All you have to do is soak it in warm water and it will fit together nicely. and you can drill out under his feet and he'll come right off his base. Nice paint job.

Yeah, I struggle getting past the ugly faze sometimes too. You just have to muscle through and realize that it's gonna look better. You're not finished yet.

On assembly, I just used some WD40 and managed to jam it in there with moderate force

I just built this one the other day and it was my first frameworks model (though I have assembled some Warhammer models before). It was a pain to assemble. The instructions are terrible and small and the legs don’t quite go in as they should and glueing them to the base was annoying since the tips of the legs are so tiny. But the final product does look cool.

So with a dragon's wing, like all winged animals, the wing is actually an arm with a heavily modified "hand", with the spikes being the claws of that "hand".

Thank you for providing a good tutorial for making this Bahamut figure an actual platinum dragon again. There are so few figures ever made of Bahamut compared to Tiamat that its dissapointing when the official ones have such odd color choices
