Any suggestions for a triple D girly? My top is the perfect length on the bottom and the perfect length on the sides, but I still don’t have enough coverage for the top of my chest when I put a strapless bra on. Since I have a bigger chest, I really don’t want to wear anything like this without a bra so I made it to match those measurements. But if I add more rounds it will be too long on the bottom, on the sides, and the top of the star will be at my chin lol. I have some rabbit ear pasties coming in the mail tomorrow that I hope will solve this dilemma, but I’m open to any suggestions lol. Help this top is so cute, and I don’t want to frog it just because I wear a DDD 😭

Why do you use stacked single crochet instead of a normal double crochet? What is the difference if I used a normal double crochet?

the truboo splitting has GOT to be the most agrivating thing about bamboo. its soo shiny and soft and breathable tho so i struggle through 😢

Loved making this, thank you for sharing! So here are the changes I made that no one asked about! 1- I started new rounds in the 1st stitch after the 3dc ch2 3dc so it was easier to hide and I kept getting confused about where I was supposed to start. 2-On the straps when I got down to 3 stitches wide I turned it into an icord so I would know exactly how long they would be. I still slip stitched back down them. 3- Also did a slightly wider icord for the halter and just looped it through. If I wanna be super extra I can make different ones to switch out but will probably not do that😂. 4 - Also at the request of the recipient I wove in some additional yarn to the starting star to eliminate the gaps.

I’m kind of old, so I don’t know if there are a bunch of people out there taking about how they’re going to tee-hee in the haha zone, but I love it. 26:27

Thank you so much for making this tutorial!! I was seaching for a pretty star top for a while and this inn perfect!! I just finished mine and it turned out soo pretty <3 Also I had the same issue with the top, being a bit loose and wishing I decreased sooner! I managed to fix it with slip stitching the ends together and connecting the whole top. I flipped the top and made sure to keep the straps on the pretty side, while slip stitching the ends to fit better. I tied the bows over the slip seam (?) and just keep them temporarily there. I did not do it for the neck straps though!! (I hope this makes sense and might help someone out :)

I'm using the same color all the way through and am getting confused with the tie off and jumping back a stitch. Will it affect my overall result if I just continue? Im using multi color yarn .

I'm trying to find a pattern like 1 of those 5 point star ones but with the same design as your stop with how it ends around the belly and the back, but with the star working it's way out from a magic circle all the way out, less like a tripple, double, single, and half crochet points. I wish you lived in Milwaukee, I would totally go with you to pride or chill and pull together designs! I'm so greatful you made this because I haven't found better yet!

Hi confused crocheter here 😊 I have gotten to the scallop edge part with 33 stiches and am always left with 2 stiches before the chain 2 space. Have frogged a few times and double checked my stiches, everything seems to be right. Am i doing something wrong?? Edit** I have now tried option 1 again but skipped the first stich at the start before the first single crochet which seems to have worked 🎉🎉 Still not sure why though 😂

I started making this asap after seeing the video!! One thing I will say just in case it helps anyone: I was using the same hook size but a slightly bigger yarn (medium 4 I think) and I kept struggling with my project not being able to sit flat. So what I did that fixed it was alternating between rows with the normal corner as shown (3 double crochet, chain 2, 3 double crochet) and a row with 2 dc, 2 chains, and 2 dc. Thanks for making this awesome pattern!!!!
