Ha ha, no worries and yeh it's very well made and very tough. I did another two videos after this one where I drive over it and also drop it from about 12 feet. I was amazed how tough it was, check them both out, and thanks a lot! 👍 👍

Yes it was fine after this, but not anymore as we put it through a no return durability test! But yes it did charge ok after the water test. Just have to make sure it's thoroughly dried out before charging. Best left for 24 Hours after a good shake 👍

I don't think so, never tried tbh. They use different operating systems and the laptop wouldn't go into recovery mode. Be great if they did though for obvious reasons.

I haven't heard the Sony but its 100w so I'd expect it to be far louder than either of these. The Rienok is definitely great value though at that low price so well worth it. The Charge 5 is great, as is the flip 6, but best value is the Rienok for sure 👍

Well it depends on the definition of 'very loud'? I wouldn't call it very loud, but loud enough for what it is. A Boombox or xtreme 3 or 4 I would say is very loud, and PartyBox speakers are really very loud. If you want the loudest jbl small speaker though, that doesn't cost a fortune, I'd go for a Flip 6 or Charge 5. It really does all depend upon your needs and budget. That said, the clip 5 is the loudest of the smallest jbl speakers. It's very hard to give a straight answer to your question, but hope what I've said helps 🤞

Nothing between them to be honest, although the clip 5 has a bit more power, 7w vs the Go4s 4.2w, so it's slightly louder. It's also what's important to you and what you need. If you need the clip on the clip 5 for travelling then that's the way to go. If you want small and compact, then the Go 4 is the best choice. Other than those points everything else is pretty much the same, hope that helps 🤞

I agree. You get what you pay for. I think the flip 6 is possibly the best JBL small speaker. That said, I do think the S1 mini is better value for money, given its price. Thanks for your opinion 👍

They're very closely matched. The clip 5 has a bit more power though. There's no clear winner tbh but I'd give it to the clip 5 if I had to.

That's right. Two of the same for stereo sound, whether it's two go 4s, two clip 5s or even two xtreme 4s. It's a shame they don't make it so stereo sound also works with different models, like a go 4 and a clip 5 for example 🤔 That would be great!

I do hope they make it that all models at least a generation backwards would be compatible down the line for stereo sound. I have an extreme 4 right now. I like the performance except for maybe a little more low end power, but for its size very good sounding. I am contemplating on buying another extreme 4 to pair for stereo sound, now two of them at left and right channel would be spectacular in my opinion.

Yep Bose are sooooo overpriced.

@@MyTechTalksdon’t get me wrong. I like Bose. But their latest Max is ridiculously priced. I bought the Flex at $130. Their new speaker is $400. Ridiculous!

It is ridiculous. They're like Gibson of the guitar world. They make really good guitars but again, really overpriced and apparently a difficulty company to work with. It's like they think they're above others. Bose are similar I think. I had a very long conversation online with a representative where I was asking the power of a particular speaker. And much to my amazement they couldn't/ wouldn't tell me, unbelievable?! They have no detailed specs on their website about any of their speakers. It's like they don't want to share any of their precious information, it's laughable really. And the prices of their speakers on top of that make them very unattractive to me personally. They were probably one of the best once, but not anymore with all the latest technology etc. OK rant over 😆

Depends on your definition of 'enough noise' and where you play it? For me, the flip 6 is better than all the small portable speakers, including the charge 5 and even the xtreme 4, in terms of sound balance and quality, and also power for it's size. That's all I can really say tbh. I'm going to be doing a sound test between the flip 6 and charge 5 in a week or more, if that helps.

Im not sure tbh. Just try it and if it doesn't work then give Apple a call. I've got a list of numbers below this video, or just Google for it. Good luck 🤞

Well a little bit more output power, a bit bigger battery so lasts a bit longer and multispeaker connection now too.
