It looks like a Sega Dreamcast game if it had 4x the texture res with texture mapping and 4x the polycount.. a bit better physics than what we had in 6th generation consoles era though. BUT THE DESIGN of it all, the cliff going around and how its all put together its like one of those generic racing games. If they have licenses for such cars they should had done something more special. Point to point racing like the very first Need for Speed for 3DO in 1994.

Playing this on ps5 has proformance issues. The npc's lag switch, repeat actions and etc.

Performance mode is now 120fps with 120hz vrr enabled on ps5

A 60fps update is all we need for this masterpiece.

I already noticed lots of framedrops in the CGI Intro, you know if Daxter in PSP had the same issue? cause i never played this one when was released back then🤔

1080p is a must!, that's the least they can do, can't believe they had the audacity to release the emulator like this.

The studio is still in existence but they got bought out by Meta and make games for the Meta Quest now.

I was looking through the PlayStation Plus Premium game catalog and saw this game. I had played Ridge Racer Type 4 on the service, it was okay, but the graphics on Ridge Racer 2 look so much better. I was having so much fun playing, I hadn't realized that it was 12:30 a.m. when my subscription ends, I will just buy this game. It is way better than anything else out there. I just wish Namco would remake Ridge Racer 1-5, I wouldn't play anything else. This series was just the best fun you could have. I don't care about not being able to use my steering wheel with it. I love using the controller with this game. By the way, does anyone know why this game looks better than Ridge Racer 4?

I played and finished RDR2 on the PS4 Pro and loved it masterpiece. I would love to revisit and play it again on my PS5 just waiting and hoping that someday Rockstar will release a PS5 60 fps upgrade for the game.

There's only one reason they won't update it to 60fps... so they can sell it on the next re-release.
