this video was absolutely lovely! I've known about Lolita fashion for a few years now but I only just recently started to put the work into *becoming* a Lolita. I just recently turned 18 and yet I already feel so behind on collecting my pieces. Sweet Lolita fashion is all I've ever wanted in a clothing style and yet it feels impossible to start wearing! I have a few blouses and cute shoes, but not much more. When I watch videos such as these I begin to feel confident again though! I know the facts and the meanings behind each piece. I just have to remind myself that the collection will come with time! Just gotta take it dress by dress.

I want to wear daily lolita soooo bad 😭 darn blue collar job! 😂 I need to expand my ouji wardrobe so I can wear trousers- although I know at someone will probably call me Miss Fancy Pants, it's a rule, LOL. 😂 I've tried daily Lolita before but it involved changing into it after work and that was EXHAUSTING 😢 I love that you were able to and did do this! This is a great idea for taking in a top that is to big as well. My daughter thrifts a lot of clothes, and I find myself trying to fit them to her. She tends to go for flowing styles dresses in shear fabric. I have used this by shiring the sides and back with elastic cording. It helps to fit the top and keeps the bust from gaping.

Does anyone have any tips on sewing the elastic back up without a sewing machine?

Just a suggestion. When sewing use a table or move your desk away from the wall. Will be easier when you have alot of fabric going to the back of your machine
