I’ve just bought a second hand (dealer owned) ix1 2000 km old. After a week of using it I’ve noticed that the software reboots itself every time I turn it off which is pretty annoying. Is this a system bug or do I need a software update? I hope I’m making myself clear, I know very little about cars 🫣

Honestly this video is amazing. The bmw car configurator ‘here in the UK’ is very poor and its not always clear and informative enough. I am ordering a new bmw x1 on Monday through work. I am getting the x1 30e m sport. I am also going to get the pro pack which gives the red callipers, bigger spoiler etc. But I am unsure if the 20” wheels are ok on bumpy roads? The roads are terrible in the Uk and I will drive the car all day everyday for work. The 19” don’t look as good and wanted to know its not too harsh a ride? Thanks Tom

Thanks for all the info! I am between the x1 e30 or the new x3 ...but have to wait to see the new x3. I was told that in bmw there is no option for EV pure, is that true? I come from an outlander phev and the ev mode is mandatory for me!!

Automatically unlocking just because I’m nearby is a security issue in my country. I would like to see it unlock only when I open the door, after I have checked the surroundings,and preferably only the driver’s door.

I wonder if this has been noted and rectified. I got my iX1 last week and the headlights are just as good as my XC90 was. The lighting that your showing is shockingly bad.

Dock så avskräcker verkstadsbesöken mig, beror dom på dålig kvalité = ständigt återkommande problem, eller var det något som blev fel vid tillverkningen så felen blev permanent åtgärdade vid verkstadsbesök?

Hello! Your videos are a gem for me. In September of this year I will receive a fully equipped edrive20 from the factory. I currently have a latest generation Opel Insignia with adaptive lights and they are wonderful. It is clearly seen how some LEDs turn off and others turn on. In the center it may be off because there is a vehicle but it turns on other LEDs to show the signals that they are to the left, right or up. Other times they border the front car to illuminate the sides. They are very active and bright. Now when I see your video I am worried. The problem has been solved?. I haven't seen anyone report anything about it after so long. Greetings and thanks.

I have the same issue you mention at 1:00. I am 1.85 and 85kg, regular cyclist, and the seat is pinching my leg. Whats really annoying is that its particularly painful in the corners, where the seat is supposed to hold me, but it really doesn't, as I am sitting on the bolsters, not between them as you mentioned it. I have the M-Sport 23i with the perforated sensatec (EU-spec, bought the car in France). It's a shame, all the rest of the car is really great, but being so uncomfortable is a bit difficult to swallow. The dealership only had the X-line to test drive, and I didn't have that issue with those. @Swede365 Did you find any solution? Maybe a pillow to sit a little bit higher?
