Best review I’ve seen!
Really nice back protector but for me its not strong enough. It's probably hardly makes the cut for CE 2 and doesn't help with hyper extension
Thanks for your review I have the M star absolutely comfortable the leather is on another level break in period is quick I completely recommend spending the money easy to walk in and easy on the bike and not sacrificing safety ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all day
What are you using for mounting hardware?
I know this review was 4 yrs ago at this point, but, I wear ear plugs when I ride, and am wondering - when you put the C3 Pro on, does pulling the helmet down over your head break the ear plug “seal?” Thanks, and nice to read a longer term review👍.
not at all. these type of helmets are the best for that. if you use earbuds, all full face helmets will break the seal when you wear but moduler helmets wont
I have the juniors in my vstrom , I got the rei packing cubes . They fit perfect for those cases
What fairing?
Thank you for the review! I will for sure buy these tyres now for my Gilera 600. I might even upgrade for the Pirelli brand on my 180 2-stroke. Thank you. Greetings from Scandi.
How are they for walking?
Can a laptop 16" fit inside this bag?
Having such a large tank bag, does it obstruct your view? Either dashboard or what's directly in front of you? Also does anybody know if this can fit a 2021 Suzuki SV650-N ?
After watch this video i bought the top case !! Very good quality.
i've just ordered the wide fit to try as i have difficulty finding any comfy footwear due to chunky feet lol, so thanks for the review, and i hope my experience is as good as yours. one question, do they stretch and mould a tad in any (slightly) tight spots when broken in?
I’m having problem inserting the keys in the actual lock
Cheers ears
Disculpa cual es la posible solución se tiene que cambiar la antena ?
Thanks for the review...Happy trails!
Good review, thanks! Useful for me.
A few questions... 1. In each of the positions, this will allow for a greater lean angle than factory rearsets, correct? Without the pegs being able to fold, I would expect so. Have you touched the new pegs down? 2. In the most rearward position, does it practically necessitate a higher seating position to retain comfort, especially on half-day rides? 3. Will these help me meet women?
Was reading all the comments on fairings. Harpers Moto Guzzi Sport Fairing for V7 Classic is a little like a Lemans III bikini. I have put 70,000 km behind that screen (mostly highway). Took it off a couple times for a classic cafe look but put it back on after a week or two. If you want a bullet fairing like on this bike, there are a whole raft of aftermarket producers when you search for 'fiberglass fairing' without going through Amazon. Really like the bead seat. Where did you get it...?
Purchased original Jota bars (new) in 2014 from a Nakusp BC Laverda specialist.. $260 Canadian. The best ergonomic investment any bike rider can make. Mine are chrome and have no 'finish' issues. One point in this video I missed is to use blue loctite once you have the bars set where you want them. Bar end mirrors from Halcyon UK are a good investment too.
The 2023 V7 special lights rest on the side rails which causes the lights to vibrate against it. Not great. I might just have to change the indicator lights. Your bike has rounder lights vs. the long lights the 850 versions have. Cheers!
What kind of screen visor you istall?
it is an MRA X-Creen. Here is the review: th-cam.com/video/iXtBsNtbNco/w-d-xo.html
@@TexMexStrada thank you men 👍🏼
It's battery operated as I can see, and it seems easily accessible when locked. Can't people (thieves) just take the battery out?
I'd need to inspect it in detail to be able to give you a specific answer. But I think any little bit of trouble & delay is a deterrent nonetheless
Well done
Thank you!
How many kilometers have you done on those tires?
10000km on the Multistrada, and another 10000km on the V7III. I’m seriously considering putting them on my current bike as well (S1000RR)
Wtf.. this helmet is horrible...!
Thanks dude. You are the man! It's working now 🙏 its a quick fix but better than nothing.
Glad it was helpful!
His crash sounds like he ran over anti freeze.
Yup, that would actually explain it!
I have a v7, I live in Texas, and I am half Mexican, so I like your channel name. I can relate to it.
Hi thanks for the video. what luggage set are you using ?
Hepco & Becker luggage, I have a review of it on the channel as well
Great review. Looking at getting these but the site I went to is out of stock.
Thank you for the kind words! Hope they came back in stock. Excellent boots
My SF2 750 Laverda came with Jota bars fitted already . No problem until I took the bike apart for a major refit . The various bolts were alan headed of quite a large size . Anyway I took the bike for a test run and had the right bar , the part with the throttle grip , go loose ! I had fitted SFC race pistons and cams which allowed the bike to wheelie before the refit , so I was rather nervous riding back to the garage as I did not have the allen key socket with me .... why would I ? Lol . Make damn sure those bar section joints are done up kin tight . They hold down onto radial splines , mine did anyway , so they will take some torque . To be honest, once you have found a good bar position , it would be best to use a thread sealer too . ATB
Yup, very true! Threadlocker is your friend!
Wouldn't you be better off with a convertible?😂
What do you mean? Since I ride 500+ miles per day on my trips, good airflow management is important
I just got this tank bag and wondered what the thing was on the bottom. It had a snap closure and when the top is lifted, snaps line the sides. Also the connection port on the front doesn’t go through. Do you poke a hole in the bag to charge something in the bag. Thanks
Not sure what you mean by “snap closure”, can you elaborate please? As to the wire channel, yup, you have to cut a small opening to get the cable through
Hi, great video… you addressed pretty much every question I had except one, I’m wondering if you could please let me know prior to my ordering a set… how much closer to the levers get to the grips get versus the stock levers? For example, say the Pazzos on setting ‘3’ are about the same distance from the grips as the stock levers, how much closer to the grips on say, setting ‘1’ are the levers to the grips? Thank you in advance
I wished I could give you an exact answer, but I sold the bike a year ago, so I can’t verify. But, from memory, the distance on 1 was close, but still had plenty of breathing room for my fingers in racing gloves. I actually started riding in 1 before switching to 2. The highest setting was a good bit farther away than the stock levers. Bottom line for me was that they were excellent, really improved my sense of control & comfort on the bike. I hope this helps!
@@TexMexStrada Thank you very much for the additional clarification… it’s appreciated.
This works for a 2011?
I don’t know, I’m sorry
Superb review. Thank you for taking the trouble to upload it.
How much is 6K miles in kilometers?
Thank you for watching! It is roughly 9,720 km, so a little less than 10,000 km
Because using Google to convert miles to kilometers was too difficult... 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
nice review, but next time less backlight please
Great review, thank for your video and info ,v. useful as I am cosidering these tyres.Cheers
Thank you for watching and your kind words! Glad I was helpful! I ran them on my Moto Guzzi V7III as well. Everything I said in this review still stands, great tires!
Do you remember how much they charge for shipping? Thanks
I just found the paper, sorry for the delayed response. It was 19.22 UK Pounds
@@TexMexStrada thanks
How easily can you pee?
#1 isn't an issue, as the zipper drops quite low, and, if necessary, you can easily pull out one arm to give you more flexibility. #2 is a proper pain, as you effectively need to take the whole suit off first unless you are ok with it laying across the floor.
@@TexMexStrada Thank you!
@@TheSharkMohanty my pleasure!
What handlebar is in this video? Is this the rizoma race retro handlebar?
Thank you for watching! It is a Motone Jota 2.0 bar, here is my review of it: Motone Jota 2.0 Adjustable Handlebars Review - Moto Guzzi V7III Stone th-cam.com/video/UmBZ5XnYx4I/w-d-xo.html I hope this helps!
Muchas gracias!!!!
De nada! My pleasure!
Please i need your help for the key to by some
Good bike
Hey ! A great review. I’ve just purchased this, riding on a VStrom 650 with a Givi airflow, and the wind noise and buffeting which was apparent with a Shark helmet, has almost completely gone due to this C3 Pro. I got the gloss white, so looks fantastic. Riding at 65mph, I can have the visor open and have zero wind noise… I forgot my earplugs, but never notice! When I close the visor, it feels like I. A soundproof studio. A great helmet, and comfortable too… 🙏 cheers!
Thank you for your kind words! And I'm glad you are also having a great experience with the C3 Pro. I'm seriously considering the C5 now, let's see what kind of a deal will be available for Black Friday/Christmas. Cheers!
@@TexMexStrada did you get or try out the C5? I am close to being due to getting a new helmet but I am in no rush and have been looking at options and reviews anyway. But I feel like I have read comments about the C5 from people and I want to say that the C3 Pro is ranking higher than the C4 and C5. That is making me have the C3 Pro at the top of my list in both the full face and modular helmet options.
@@shaglioni I've only worn the C5 in a store, haven't ridden in one yet. It felt great in the store. I am actually waiting for the E2 to arrive in the US, as I like the look more than the C5, plus I prefer the additional versatility. The C3 Pro is a great helmet, but it is a little bit warm on very hot days, and I don't care for the pinlock it comes with. If neither is an issue for you (meaning you are in a cooler and dry climate), then I think you will be very happy with the C3 Pro at a much better price than the C5 / E2. The E1 may be worth a look as well in that case
Hmm, we can get some hot days for sure in Denver so that is something I should think about too. Now I am going to have to look into the E2 model.
@@shaglioni How many days over 90F do you get per year? The E1 is a C3Pro with bigger intake vents and a beak, may be worth a look
What gloves do you use with the suit , cuz i got the super race jacket from dainese its like a suit but the top half, do u use gauntlet gloves? Long?
Thank you for watching and for your question! I use the Held Titan Evo gloves, also reviewed on here. They are a long gauntlet racing glove, and work ok with the suit. Their gauntlet has thick forearm protection padding, so it took a little bit to work itself out with the tip of the alarm armor, but after a couple weeks, it settled nicely. I hope this helps!
@@TexMexStrada i got the druid 4 out gloves trying to get used to riding with gauntlet gloves cuz i always rode with short ones
@@2Wheeligniter got ya. Yeah, it takes a little while to get used to the feeling, but once you do there is nothing better. It never gets easier to put them on and take them off, but that is the price of protection
