A short summary of my major takeaways from Crysis. This was an interesting little project. I had the thought that this could be a good way to cap off all the LPs I do but that could present a problem for like half of them where I either have too much to say or too little. Fishing and cooking usual best way to do cooking.. fishing is to cooking as mining is to smithing or woodcutting is to firemaking or fletching for p2p
Sea Shanty 2 = Like button pulverized
i heard Sea Shanty 2 so i pressed like
Wizards (the dark and the blue ones) can drop the runes that you saw for Alchemy and also the ones for the teleports, but its not common, so you will need to spend some time killing them to stockpile these runes.
Sir amik varze .. proper pronunciation : ceramic vase
You're really into these knights of the order pun, aren't you?
Beautiful work, I can't wait for more episodes
Yes you can get lots of law runes to teleport in F2P you get them from ogresses after Corsair Cove. They are a 1/17 drop for 8-15 law runes. You can grind thousands. PS I was going to comment a pie dish spawn, but you found one that I did not even know about and I have been playing about a decade lol
Doesn’t seem like people know this, but do the Corsair curse and kill the ogres in by he cave. They drop tons of natures and laws. Got over 3k laws on my Ironman this way. You will want to train range though since there are multiple safe spots. As a free to play player this area is highly profitable and shouldn’t be overlooked.
43:56 After that entire Knife debacle he literally had one sitting in the bank... smh...
Are you serious? URGHH.
@@deadyawn72 5th row down, 6 items in from the left at the timestamp... First of all, there's 2 in the bank and if you had just deposited a new one it would be at the end of the bank, not the middle.
From what I know, a range is a stove without an oven, instead putting the fuel (coal or wood). So think of your oven. There are two “parts”, the range (top with burners) and the oven (borrom with a door you put food in) I could be wrong though 😂
Your friends are idiots. If you train on the right monster to 37 magic you'd likely build up a pretty decent stack of law runes. It's only 1 law per teleport so, however many law runes you gather is how many teleports you have. Even if you only built up like 10, that's still going to save you a lot of time if you use them wisely.
4:48 I think this might have originally been another quest like Shield of Arrav, where you needed to get someone else to distract him? EDIT: Apparently he can be inside the room and then needs to be distracted. Or you just hop worlds to find one where he isnʼt there and looking at you, or wait for him to leave the room. 14:38 I was actually pointing you to the *other* mining shop down there, which sells picks up to rune.
blastin through these quests. Dragon slayer will definitely take some research and combat grinding. It is significantly harder than the rest and makes for a great finale
Hill giants and moss giants constantly drop law runes (the scales) so you can reliably get them just takes a little grinding
I think that dialogue is there to help other players who are doing the same quest to keep him out of the room.
Yea if you weren't an ironman you would be able to buy the law runes off the grand exchange but you decided to make things hard for yourself so we could enjoy your suffering :P
Funny thing is, I played as f2p from 2005 through 2009. I never got bored, and I never noticed the limitations. I wasn't even bothered by all the skills I couldn't train. I didn't even notice the quests I couldn't do, the NPCs who wouldn't talk to me, etc. I was only able to get membership for myself when OSRS released in 2013 because I was an adult by then. My entire RS2 experience was f2p, and it was my favourite time, for years. I still miss those days.
If you wanna train magic for cheap, get an air staff in varrock and get mind runes to just do wind strike. All the strike spells do the same damage, hope this helps for future grinds 😊
Low alchemy isn't very good for money, usually selling to a store is better. High alchemy is the good one but it requires nature runes which can't be bought and are only from drops in f2p.
i love your 9-5 work ethic attitude to this whole series. it's really fun to watch, each episode is better than the last. keep it up brother
15:00 sorry I should have clarified there are a couple merchants in the Dwarven cave area, the one who sells higher tier pickaxes is further in the place. I forgot about the one at the entrance
Oh! Nvm you figured it out, glad to see it I was worried you wouldent
Prince al was first quest that actually felt like a quest.
I wish I could hang out in a discord call with you just to answer all your random questions as they come up, but in a vague way to just point you where to look to find your answers. But then I'd be missing out on your endearingly aggressive commentary lmao
The cluelessness is part of the experience, I guess.
I love how the comment section keeps making suggestions that noone knows is members content because noone's played f2p in such a long time and he keeps thinking they're just trolling. :D
Well you could just buy law runes if you weren't an iron man 🙄
5:07, yes it actually does, if he's in the room and you don't distract him he will stop you from searching the cupboard.
really been enjoying this series, it's crazy how limited f2p is, but you're pushing thru it. keep it up!
It's necessarly limited because it would me way too overwhelming otherwise. This way you can get into members more smoothly.
Tip: There is an option in the runescape settings to remove roofs so you can see directly into them without hovering your mouse over the building.
he's mentioned it in the video before, he likes seeing the roofs
Teleports being extremely useful, being a free to play ironman limits you to law runes via monster drops. Which again in free to play limits you to like wizards being the only semi okay source?
I remember grinding hobgoblins and ice warriors for their very small law rune drops, way way back.
@@nickman287He mentioned last video he prefers roofs - and actually there are some areas with really nice looking houses
@@AlbertoRibeiro-i2y wrong reply my friend lol
Ankou drop them in the stronghold at a decent rate but high level.
It is not a tech demo, it is an insult to the devs to call it like that. It is just not a great game, but surely it is a fun game.
Used to love Crysis 2
Crysis (the first game, at least, I have not played the others) is just a tech demo with impressive graphics (for 2007) and physics. The game does not offer much beyond that.
So about the exp curve, in case it hasn't come up: every time you go up 7 levels, you will have doubled your total experience for that. So you go up 14 levels, and you'll have quadrupled it and so on. As for why magic is so potent: magic attacks don't use the defense stat for damage calculation, but instead both the enemy's magic stat. And many enemies have either low or nonexistant magic stat, and are vulnerable to magic as a result.
minimum level, 1 pie. this is what happens when you cant burn the shrimp on tutorial island.
I think your style works really well for blind runs of stuff, would love to see other content where you have 0 knowledge going into it.
Well, you may just be in luck.
I lost it when you burnt the pie.
Fyi there's specific discords to buy burnt food, but it's moreso a thing for mains. To do burnt food collecting on an iron is super complicated. Fun, and I do it, but complicated. After a certain point it stops being burnt, and lowering stats isn't simple, so it creates scarcity that makes it a collectable. Add in that most people trash it, it ends up selling for a bit, and the lower a lvl you stop burning, the more valuable. You may only *have* 10k xp it's possible to burn it on a low lvl food for, but for higher lvl foods, it could be burnable for 2m xp
So Law Runes are whats need to teleport, sadly there is no where to buy them in f2p they are only drops from some monsters. Using an air staff and using wind strike is a much cheaper way to train magic. Hope this helps 😊
I thankfully learned about the law runes before hilariously wasting my time. I'm a little shocked yours was the first comment to point this out. I think my audience may be out to get me. But thank you, at least one of you has my back.
A good key advice is always right click every item you come across, to see what it can do, and hovering over them will tell you what the default is, like the packs you bought, you can hover over them, then it shows you can open them. Notes are the paper notes of items, that can be exchanged by putting it in your bank/ pulling it out that way. You can also note items when taking them out with one of the options at the bottom of the banks interface. :) hope this helps
I'll also add that I've been thoroughly enjoying watching you play. It's very entertaining, keep up the great work and progress of your account. Oh I forgot to mention, the knights sword quest you're doing, make sure to bring food with you lol
You could have world hopped the items transfer worlds with you and What a great series This is probably the best way for you to learn the base mechanics from the game But also a tip That may be useful Usually for combining things like making bread or cooking pies even making potions etc Take 14 of each item like 14 pots of flour and 14 jugs of water Also meat is superior to bread But if you combine meat and bread you get a steak sandwich
Good call on the giant frogs; whoever tipped you that was big brain.
Just so you know man, fishing is always the best source of food, and this extends to the entirety of the game (even on Members). Do your fishing, cook the fish, and use it on combat.
For food in the future just fish its better xp and heals more, or make pies they heal way more than basic food
The flour hops worlds with you and never despawns. You could have, at 14:32, decided you did not want to do any baking today, and then come back in a month and had flour for bread. 22:15 If you are a good enough cook you *cannot* burn bread, and it is hard to buy because it can’t go on the GE (main player auction house) and most people don’t save it. This means it is hard to get a lot, and therefore people collect it.
Going all the way there with 19/20 wool, instead of just dropping one item to make room for another 😂
The quiet FF music with the trapped mugger is killing me
I was SCREAMING at my TV when you got 12 magic. FIRE STRIKE lol
Fire strike isn't better than the other strike spells since the magic rebalance. If I misunderstood your meaning ignore this lol
@macnar12 I was not aware that the rebalance would make fire strike weaker unless it was elemental. So frog = water? That makes sense. This is now considered an oldschool meme I guess lol
@@NecroericTH-cam No, the frogs don't have an elemental weakness. I was referring to the part of the magic rebalance where all the elements of the same tier have the same max hit. i.e. at level 13 magic, fire and wind strike have the same max hit. There is no dps increase using fire spells anymore unless the enemy has an elemental weakness
@macnar12 oh that's good to know. It made zero sense that fire strike was just objectively better. That helps so you can use whatever is cheapest to cast and still get ahead
I don't think I've ever seen someone create so much bread in this game 😂Millie Miller at Mill Lane Mill has never had this much company 🤣
F2P is like the demo version of the game that would be included with pc gaming magazine in the early 2000s
They should definitely make pastries more cooking xp. That windmille shebackle was cool tho
