I always love to see the Runescape Effect on small channels. It's insane how extremely nice the OSRS community is compared to other multiplayer experiences.
really enjoy this, post commentary or not, your editing style and humor has me hooked. and cool to see a perspective that's not "yay number go up" also, there's so much lore that as a new player one won't understand or hasn't aged well. that whole "dragon plates" was because back then there was no dragon platebody, only a dragon chainmail. everyone wanted one, so the devs added the dragon plates to mess with players
No way, just found your series a few hours ago. Just finished your 3rd video about half an hour ago and now there's a 4th. Love your perspective with osrs! Critical as it is, it's still enjoyable to watch no matter how long you feel like making the series for!
Love seeing the progress both in game and in recording the game. Hope you are at least finding it less "I hate this, this is a bad idea". The community and their support for whatever goal you have set for yourself is one of the reasons a lot of us really enjoy OSRS and OSRS content each one is like a story that we get a new chapter on whenever a new video comes out. Don't burn yourself out if it gets to be too much, OSRS will be here whenever you're not burned out and we will be too. That is probably the biggest selling point for me personally in OSRS, your progress always stays and stays relevant. So many games (MMOs specifically) just put you on a hamster wheel of tasks and for the most part, puts you back a few steps with every patch so they can get you on the next hamster wheel of tasks.
Oooh, was just thinking about when a new episode would drop. Loving the series so far! Will be interesting to see how you feel about it in a couple of weeks / months time when you're further into the game. Keep up the good work :)
there are some combat tutors in Lumbridge, as well as an ironman tutor. they can give you some starter equipment. the ironman tutor give you a special set of iron armor exclusive to ironmen. if you have no runes in your bank or inventory (you can drop them on the ground) then once every 30 minutes the magic tutor will give you some runes for air strike.
5:08 has that tree always been so gigantic holy im about to log in and check it out Edit: on mobile it's just a tall stump there. Runelite has changed some of your graphics without telling you. It has also probably changed some of your default (left click) interaction options. If you wanted the vanilla blind experience, i'd recommend switching back to the official client (not runelite) even if you're forsaking all the EZscape quality of life "features" and "plugins"... in my opinion it would make it more interesting to see a player who has never played rs before tackle it with the vanilla client. Edit 2: never mind about runelite adding it, after some testing i found out the game considers it a roof. The other thing about runelite automatically swapping default interactions still stands though
Prayer is probably the most useful to use the lamp on. It and HP are the slowest to level. If you want to work on your attack right off the bat so that combat is easier, there's some training dummies in varrock. Much easier to hit than actual enemies, and probably won't hit you back.
4:30 Yeah you would *think* this was a cryptic clue based on that definition, but actually no. Itʼs a different type of clue on that same menu of four options, though! (Iʼm not getting more specific because I assume if you wanted to know more youʼd check the wiki) 8:00 You would think but this was a very hastily designed skill with not the best curve 20:40 I actually have a ship that I wonʼt be needing at least until Sailing comes out; I should see if the dialog changes. 31:39 I agree but so many people care about actually getting the maximum possible experience. Makes me want to change the way xp is stored so that (for technical reasons) it would go from 200 million max to 900 quadrillion max so nobody will ever get to max XP again.
There's some fast travel options for free to play. Chronicle sold by django. Canoo. Teleports if you level your magic. Level 1 home teleport. A little more than that. RuneScape was meant to be a social game where people talk to each other and share info. If you're going to play completely solo without looking anything up or talking to anyone, you're in for a bad time. You need a good bit more game knowledge to play like Alien Food Unguided.
I look forward to dozens of episodes of you being mad at runescape
Im waaaay too keen for this series 😂 please keep it up.

Literally same with me
There is a setting where you can remove roofs from houses which will help me not be panicked as you walk past people constantly LOL
I did turn on the runelite setting to remove roofs on hover, I like to see them sometimes.
Love this series, please more sir ❤️
Your videos are quite cozy, glad i found your channel
My brother in Guthix, please use that xp lamp already 😂
I don't know what to use it on.
@@deadyawn72attack, level up that to wield weapons better than "bronze"

I pressed like on the video because of Sea Shanty 2
These videos are hilarious. Good luck!
There is a mage tutor in Lumbridge that gives you free runes to cast wind strike.
Babe wake up! Deadyawn dropped a new video 😃
Btw, good luck on finally killing Reldo 💪

The runescape community is going to hold your channel hostage if you ever quit your ratings are gonna tank 🤣
I will not be cowed. We don't negotiate with hostage takers.
Shoutout to me in the screenshots lol
Yay Runelite 🎉

I love finding a great series from someone new before it goes swampletics popular

Honestly I don't notice a difference between live commentary and post commentary

That max xp change is a level of cruelty I could only aspire to.

10 xp seems good idk the scale LOl just you wait.
All I know is its 2.5x more than 4 which is my only other point of reference.
Go back to Django and buy the chronicle and some pages you won't regret it
Welcome, lastest OSRS content creator 😅
