Oh I do, I wear my afro now. I used to relax my hair because I didn't feel like doing it but that damaged my hair and so I cut off the relaxed parts and I felt so free it was weird, but ive never been more comfortable with myself than I do now. I wish more people thought like you though.

I cut my hair out too, and went to the dermatologist, who told me that many African American clients come in with the same problem. She suggested Men's strength Rogain. She said that if that didn't make it grow back, it wasn't growing back. I'm so glad it grew back.

So sad that you paid a person to do what you could have done at home. Stop thinking these people know what your hair means to you. Also all braiders are not the same. Your hair will grow back in most cases but your scalp need some tender loving care as you grow it back out. Not saying you should stop going to the salon. No do your research on what you want done and talk to them before you let another put their hands in it. Rember it is your HAIR!!

Can I give u advice on how to grow your hair honestly I did a big shop and from what I see u get it messed around and played with too much get some braids font make the parts to small or too tight. Moisturize ur hair and it will grow when you leave it alone trust me.
