- Namaste, I recently saw this KIA EV9 in production-ready spec and recorded a quick walkaround of same. It is believed that Kia will launch it in India in 2024.

@@sargamkumar01 कौन सी सच्चाई ? देश के अधिकतर auto magazine, youtubers और teambhp सब hyundai भक्ति में लगे हुये हैं और tata को बदनाम करने में लगे हुये हैं। आप थोड़ा पढ लो सर जी आप को भी समझ आ जायगा। tata की छोटी खामियों को बढ़ा चढ़ा कर बताना और hyundai की बडी से बडी खामियों को दबा देना, ये इनका strategy है। मैं कोई tata motors का ना employee हूँ ना dealer पर मैं देश में tata mahindra को top पे देखना चाहता हूँ। korea वाले इतने देशभक्त हैं कि वो सिवाय korean के दुसरे कार नही खरीदते। फिर हम क्यों korean भक्ति में लीन हैं?
I believe these are called aero tyre covers,quite normal on electric cars,supposedly increases range due to aerodynamics.

Rear view side mirrors with 100% camera and its display inside, not a well thought of design, what if camera doesn't work or camera is damaged! Using tech for safer driving is welcome, not to this extent.

@gagan it is based on Kia telluride platform. It is called telluride in USA now a days. I have 2022 Kia telluride. So far I am happy with the performance.

Why is this car's expected cost in India 80 lakhs? In USA this is available from 44-56 lakhs and the taxes on EV is pretty similar in USA(0% to 8.25% depending on state-> average around 5%) & India (5%).

Bhai, India m import duty lagta hai. US m shaayad nahi lagta ho ya kam lagta ho. Simple as that.
In summary - garibi. Yes India is a poor country where we don’t have a tax paying population (thieves) who can pay tax with their jobs. So government extracts as much tax as possible from people who want luxury.

@@LuvvSURYA Bhai import duty toh 100% hai, toh iss car ka rate should have been 1 crore. While searching about it, I found that India me battery ka cost double hai as compared to international market. Toh wo ho sakta hai. Aur shayad issi wajah se India me Nexon EV bhi itni mehengi hai. Foreign markets me around 80 to 100 dollars per kwh hai price battery ka and India me 200-300 dollars per kwh hai.
Toh agar wo India me bhi manufacture karein toh bhi 80 lakh toh hoga hee cost due to battery price.
But no safety as compared to TATA
