Useful video...a couple of tips to add: if your card is already cut to size, move it slightly away from the top of the scoring board so that your score with the tool STARTS from the edge of your card...(if you simply line the card up directly to the edge of the board the scoring tool will not reach into the top of the card.
Also...i would suggest 'creasing' the BACK/BLANK side not the front to avoid damaging the colours/card on the front.

Thank you! It is attention to this kind of detail that makes the difference between something that looks professional or amateurish.

I was at my "wit's-end", was it my technique, or did I buy a low-quality paper? Scoring paper seems like such a no-brainer, so I focused on finding a method to reinforce the paper fold. Multiple experiments later I had to admit, I'm obviously barking up the wrong tree. . . This morning I searched TH-cam for "scoring paper" BINGO!! I found your post. Talk about a "daw moment".
    Thank you!

it's not a prefolded card 🙃 printed on flat 300gsm card and I go through the process from the printed stage to being perfectly folded. It's just really effective haha
