No rover is in the garden covered up. I was hoping to take it to a rover event to sell it but you know. It’s up for sale but needs an mot shorty. It will go eventually. Yes very true with programming but I found a way to cheaply program it in the next video.
Did you ever manage to find some bolts? Im trying to figure out what size they are
I brought some from eBay, M8 I believe they were, as in the video they weren’t the same as the original sheer off bolts.
Dont ya just love electrics in modern cars . Years ago you would have run a power feed to the coil and had it moving in minutes lol. The thieves have caused all this complications thats why they are so complicated now
Yes days bygone lol ... still this wasn't to bad of a job, i feel sorry for people who have no idea how to fix this and pay £100s for somebody else to do it or 1000s at dealers.
@@everydaysalvage Have seen a few advertised with no keys and stayed clear myself. At work the boss has a guy come and do them and when I asked about one he was quoting around 400 pounds . Be good to see your gadget work Jay. Wonder what your next car is ?

@@everydaysalvage I cant argue with that Jay. I have 3, a 206 and two 207. The 206 has better build quality than the 207 s but I would swap the lot for 1 fiesta lol
@@richardmounfield7822 😂 this fiesta is a really good car, you step into the pug and yeah it’s miles away, that rasp of the 3 pot is enough for me.. but on saying that it is nippy but my classic 1275 mini is quicker.

Yes you would think but the key won’t talk to the PATS system.
