I've had the SPD-SX for 5 years and love using it. My biggest issue with it is not being able to see what sample is on which pad when playing a gig. I use different Kits for a few different songs and I have to REMEMBER which pad I need to hit at a given point in the song. Having to rely on memory since there is no visual cue has made me use this product less over the years.
Greetings... Is it possible to mute the sound of one pad with another pad on the roland spd sx and have the song play when unmuted, in principle, to replace the volume button by hitting the pad. Thank you.
They both have different usage for performance so you have to know which one you will prefer.. Spd 30 is mostly like a normal electronic drum kit .. And sod sx se is Sampler..so which one you prefer brother.
Great video. What other equipment are you using? A kick pedal, other device? It is confusing for newbies when you don't even mention what we see in the video,
I am deeply saddened to say,, we had placed our trust in you,, which you have broken,, how much trust we used to take your product.. we people used to buy your product with closed eyes and trust,, but this You have betrayed us in Roland SPD SX PRO SAMPLING PAD.. you have not given any setting of tempo loop in it.. click does not merge with any loop.. so please update this as soon as possible. I am seeking your help to find a solution, we have given a price above one lakh rupees,, what do we do if we want to up-down the loop in live concert, for loop work we buy your product,, what does it mean? .. Our money went down the drain right?? What reward do we get for that??plz help me plz
Hello mate, I'm just starting to use the SPD-SX and I hit a lot of technical issues but have been able to resolve them all so far - keep at it. Try asking Roland for technical support through their website or in one of their store. Ask friends. Try contacting specific musicians who are using the SPD-SX. I think you might have been having a similar problem to me - how to match the tempo of the SPD-SX's in-built click track with loops that you're triggering. For the moment, I'm ensuring the loops are at the desired tempo, setting the SPD-SX's in-built click to the same tempo, then ensuring I trigger the loop exactly in time. It's not ideal, because if I'm even slightly off the beat the loop will go out of sync with the click. The 'tempo sync' function under the 'pad' menu doesn't help with this (although I may be misunderstanding the purpose of that function). The SPD-SX is an immensely powerful piece of kit and its possibilities seem almost endless. It can be complicated, though, and while it's beautifully designed and Roland have done their considerable best to make its use intuitive, it remains highly complicated to get it to do certain specific things you may want it to do. But I'm fairly certain there isn't a better product on the market for what it can do.

How do you add sample of a song directly from an iPhone to the kit?

Yes can do
Thanks for the great video. Who are the other drummers featured in it?
Then I put the flash disk in the Pad version 1.05 and it tells me there is no memory. What is the problem? For example, is it broken?

Very useful video! ❤️
It doesn't have a hihat controller input? How can something like this not have something like that?
Great video
Why do the knobs and buttons still work like an Atari? Shouldn't this have moved to a touchscreen computer style layout 15 years ago?
Excelente comentário!

Very Bad Sampling Pad
It’s literally known as arguably the best bang for your buck sampling pad
Unrealistic sound.
