Wondering if you can help me with something here! I’ve seen some people using the SPDSX (not the pro), to play audio from their phone into the machine, but as its just playing through, they hit a pad at a point of their choice, and then again at another point - and those hits basically act as a cut, and then an end cut. They do this at numerous points in the track that’s playing, onto numerous pads. Then they can essentially play back the cuts they’ve made on those pads as separate samples. So it acts as a live sample chopping kinda thing. I am about to buy either the SPDSX or the pro, and this function is a big swing for me. But I can’t find any information anywhere about the pro being able to do this. Let me know if you can help!

Hi mate, I used a 1/4 jack adapter on a mini jack extension, with a jack to USB C for my phone... not pretty haha but it works 😅

It use to be so much easier to assign those sample sounds to the pad on the spd sx
I never had the old one, I guess the screen was smaller so they had to make.it pretty straight forward maybe? 🙂🥁

Facts!! It was way easier with the spd sx
