I've been using a CR7 for a couple of seasons now. Had a Cruizer2 before this. I suggest you mount the screen directly in front of the steering wheel so you only have to glance down to follow the guide lights and don't have to turn your head. I found it hard not to drift around when I had it mounted to the right. Also, the wiring harness has an auxiliary input that can be used to control the master switch. I connected it to the PTO dash light circuit so I can control the painting when I turn the PTO on and off.

You are going to like having that. I have the AgLeader Compass for spraying and fert.

We are rather excited and can't wait to try it out.

Not familiar with the Raven but I am sure they have similar paths to choose. I do not normally use the A-B line I use what AgLeader calls Smart Path. It bases your next line off your previous path. This works best on irregular shaped fields and if you go round and round from the edge in.

Normally we will make 2 passes around the field and then go back and forth across the field (length wise) when spraying or fertilizing. Our fields aren't necessarily irregular shaped but more of a rectangular shape.

      Raven calls it "last pass"

How much was that? Do you have to qualify 100 head for TAP? Or whatever

I think it was $3,000 for the gps and we will get back $1,500. Even though we are a master beef producer, we don't qualify to get help on hay equipment and such since we don't hay 100 or more acres or have 100 head of cattle.
