I don’t think its very deep for a few reasons. First look at the light emitted by the molotov, specifically the parts of the well’s wall that’s illuminated. If this molotov was truly falling the light on the walls would be moving down the well much quicker
I think the fire hits the bottom, maybe a 100-200 feet max. What looks like the flame getting further away is actually the flame diminishing. There are even a few frames where you can see what looks like a wet bottom to the well.
Another possibility is that when the molly hits the wall at first, the rag is separated from the fuel. Maybe the rag falls slower? That would explain the slow movement of the light on the walls. I do think that my first explanation is what is actually going on though.
