#lamborghini #3dprinting #car - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ
That was smart for Lamborghini to donate to the build. That's great PR & marketing. My first thought was "That was cool of them" which is opposite of what I feel towards Ferrari
Ferrari simply doesn't support fakes. And that is totally understandable
@@IIXxSLAYERxXII Lambo understands that the people who pursue fakes are HUGE fans and simply cannot afford a real Lambo. They lose nothing by embracing their poor fans. A lot of them will become rich and own a lambo one day. A Lambo instead of a Ferrari, because Lambo was cool to me and my people when I was poor. Lamborghini has always been the people's supercar. I will own a lambo one day.
@@HAHA.GoodMeme wtf are you smoking. This is FAKE
@@IIXxSLAYERxXII Ferrari spends a lot of money trying to sue people for modding cars they own. The whole "companies still own the product you purchase from them because it's their brand" that massive corporations are trying to push is a massive threat to consumer freedom. Any company that participates in that to any extent should be vilified.
Ferrari would've sued him and taken his home and sent his son into foster care because they take themselves too seriously.
Thanks again to Tommy coming by and seeing our project. A true honor.
*Tommy should pin your comment so everyone can see your channel very easily.*
@lasersterling…you are amazing! What talent and ingenuity. Also what a cool dad you are! I bet your son just loves this.
Paint it Ferrari red just to send them over the edge.
😅
I believe he plan to paint the car white when it’s completed
Why not i got the color code for it and paint my old tomos scooter in that color.
I usually hate kit/ replicas but this is on another level genius. It may not be 100% but the whole design and creation is genius!!
Great job, Tommy! You are a very skilled and respectful interviewer. Great questions.
So amazing!! Great job Sterling, Love this father son project!! Not everyone can 3d print a Lamborghini you know!!
That’s amazing that he got the proportions as close as he did. When he finishes, it will be something.
“Mom can we get Lamborghini?”
“No, we can make Lamborghini at home”
Looks like a fun Father/Son project. I wish I had the free time needed to do something like this.
Lamborghini is such an amazing company, wow. So cool to see them supporting his build. And amazing build, that is so cool to see.
Also great interview Tomas, you gave him time to talk, asked great questions, really nice to watch. Kudos to both of you.
can i just say the host of this video did an AMAZING job of asking in depth questions. the other video that featured this lambo was a literal 3d printing channel and he didn't even ask a fraction of the amount of really detailed questions this guy did. THANK YOU. so much great info for people looking into doing something similar to this. and amazing job to sterling as well for such an insane project.
Wow. This is one of the most ambitious projects I've ever seen. The sheer amount of time, effort, and brain power that went into this is just amazing. I'm super impressed. Also, kudos to him to see it through. Like Sterling had mentioned, so many projects get given up on and sold.
Kudos to Lamborghini for being so cool about the whole project too. To gift him parts and everything is just so awesome.
Yeah my cousin does this same sort of thing..built an entire f-16
(He's a pilot in the airforce) in under a year!? It doesn't have all the avionics but it's awesome..homeland security doesn't think so...but my cousin said it was just his Netflix time..3-4 hours a day for a year.
Still has less panel gaps than a Tesla 😂😂😂
Give that man an addaboy, that thing is super impressive.
Honestly, if I saw this on the street, I wouldn't even think twice. " That's a very different Aventador. Looks good!" Also very cool that Lamborghini got involved and donated parts!
funny part is that 3d printing has been around since like 1985, and you can fairly easily build one yourself to get as big of a volume as you are willing to build.(and troubleshoot/level)
its a great hobby for anyone who always like to design and tinker but never had access to all the tooling to machine anything. :D
This guy is a genius. These companies shld hire him.
Unreal! Impressive job, Sterling! Kudos, mate!
YOU WOULDN'T DOWNLOAD A CAR.
Been following this for a while. Super cool how he's stuck with it.
So much respect for Lamborghini. Ferrari would send their full legal team to shut a project like this down.
Things sure have changed from the days of the Fiero mods
Sterling has an amazing skill set!....and maybe even a more amazing level of determination! Well done, sir!
I would paint it Yellow. I bet he could find the cure for Cancer too. He is amazing.
5:42 my TH-cam University degree has been far more valuable than my master's degree, thats for sure.
This guy is brilliant.
And rich which helps.
@@Wicked_RotF30 Not rich enough to afford a real one. LOL. This was brain power and elbow grease.
@@thebagnechannel3183 Not many ppl can afford a real one.
@@Wicked_RotF30only spent 35k thats pretty cheap
Wow.. Amazing how going through this 40 minute video felt like a 10 minute video. That's how you know you're experiencing 'peak geek'. Great job Tommy and Sterling!
This comments section is a wasteland of AI posts shilling crappy coins
Not any more😉
@@TFLcar THANK GOD
Awesome video, that car is nuts. A Lambo with an LS1? I'll take it!
I admire his perseverance to make his projects come out legit as possible given the fact of limited available resources he has.
This is now at least the third time I've seen this project and it just keeps on getting better and better. I sure hope your son realizes just how friggin cool his dad really is. Lamborghini was brilliant for supporting the build. That's a hell of a lot of good will for the cost of some headlights, a dash and a steering wheel. I'm really very curious as to the GVW and also I'm super curious on the 4 corner weight breakdown.
Love the videos!!!
What an awesome story! Very impressive for sure. Def gonna check out ur channel. Wow! That is so cool!
Tom will take this channel to a different level. Love the diversity. I’m fascinated with the creativity of this gentleman. Impressive. My only suggestion would be to try and auto transmission where he can use buttons instead of a stick shift. It will clean up the interior a lil more
He actually wanted a shift I know Sterling for years building this project.
I've never wanted a Lamborghini and now after listening to you and your build and your experience with working with the Lamborghini company and them giving you headlights I want a Lamborghini oh my goodness TH-cam did it again
I'm waiting for someone to 3D print a Ferrari F50.
“You wouldn’t download a car” 😆
It Actually Looks Better Than The Original One
Got to see this car at the Rocky Mountain RepRap festival (April 21,20204) Such a cool car.
KITCAR MAGAZINE lovers of the seventies would have loved this concept. ( There were no 3D printers back then).....I would love to do something like this...
Cool father son build although I wouldn't drive it!
Dream car for 1/4 of the price😎...I wish I could've built my Cadillac CTS-V3 for 1/4 of the price😅
Biggest issue with kit cars is nobody bites the bullet and drops them off at a body shop and drops 15k on real body work, and don't be against body filler all of those stunning show Quality paint jobs get every inch of every panel covered in filler contrary to popular belief
Been following Laser Sterling for about 4 years. It's been a painfully slow process to watch. BUT very cool. I get that this is not B is for Build or some other channel that does nothing but build 80 hours a week.
nice car
I will buy this just because it's ART.
If anyone was wondering, yes it does run and hes gotten it up to 40mph... 26:25
@23:06 that brake disc is on the wrong side. That is the right side brake disc on the left side.
69 Mustang also 3d printed?
It IS actually rocket science
That’s Great 👍🔥🔥🔥💙
Well done tommy
what filament was used in this creation. amazing
By the time he is finished this will definitely become a thing!
pretty sure that's a lamborghini aventador not an huracan
How can i contact this guy and put in a order?
How many filament rolls did that have to take?
I wouldn't mind a 59 Impala retromod.....
This guy is a genius and a legend!!! 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻❤️
Frankenghini is glued On together. how fast will go before falling apart .
Where the side air duct. He should’ve got some black mesh for that opening.
Where there is a will, there is a way.
Looks is everything and looks does matter
He should’ve done a 1/2 or 1/3 size one haha
I'll have the Camry
Mommm can we get Doug DeMuro. No we have a Doug Demuro at home.
Awesome free time, I have none.
I probably would’ve laid fiberglass fabric on the top and the backside of each panel. Then bondo it the the top side.
looks good for a remake of 'Back to the Future' ....young man meets mad scientist.
Usually these design are protected and would cause here a lawsuit as we had seen before when polish had copied Mercedes R129 and were forced to destroy these.
Making something for yourself is not an issue.
Copying something and selling it as a business is.
You are wrong about that. Making something similar to their product for your personal use was never an issue. It can only be an issue if you mass produce them and sell them as a business.
Where are the files? I want to print this
That thing got a Buick Hemi?
Pretty damn sad he had to pay taxes on a car he built from scratch. He should can that Atoto radio and cheap speakers and go with what Lamborghini used back in the day Alpine! The speakers either Alpine, JL Audio or Morel. If he’s going this far to make it look like a lambo at least you could put a quality audio system in it.
Does it start
AI is loud today. Cant you delete theses msgs?
Done
Fake leather. It's likely Naugahide out of Stoughton, Wisconsin. Naugahide will tell you their product will outlast leather. In fact, they can make it even more durable while maintaining texture but it would wear your pants out.
This guy is so cool
Better panel gaps then a tesla.
Start the engine!!!
Drag race, the C6
That car is beautiful
The front wheel arch is triggering my OCD It is not perfectly round.
Its not perfect. There are some gapping issues. Other than that its an amazing build.
Couldn't 3D print a powertrain and chassis? Just a few body panels got it.
That's a lot of great work but I've seen a half dozen videos on this guy/car and in not one of them does he go for a drive. I'm not sure he even starts it up.
wow
One crash = million pieces
Ferrari would have filed a lawsuit
sir, you can build anything
MAKE A COUNTACH!!!
Is it street legal, though?
Just goes to show ya, an advanced Science degree is substantially superior to any "liberal arts"(bs)degree😂 - Absolutely ❤this guy! Not so much the car, though appreciate his dedication to his "dream". Rather bc of EVERY SLAM! "Doesn't take a rocket scientist" after asked how "smart one has to be?" 😂 Engine LS ! Bc even the 911 KNOWS it NEEDS a Corvette engine to Rumble😂🖕ooopsy I meant🤌😂ohhh & did ya hear the butthurt Ohhh grimace after that? 😂Transaxle "How hard?" Answer: Anyone who knows how to Use a Tape measure😂Ohhh this guy was AhhhhMazeBalls!!! & as someone whose been to Lamborghini. It is true, they are very different than Ferrari! Frank Sinatra's old saying: "You buy a Ferrari when you want to Be someone. But you buy a Lamborghini WHEN YOU ARE SOMEONE" That Pssd off Enzo soooo much! 😂they're not threatened bc they ARE THE TRUE Italian King of the Hill! - Have more of these guys on 😂
Can we see it driving
Instantly recognized as a fake.
Safe as a real Lambo?
ZERO re-sale value.
You sound lonely and miserable, you should move out of your parents basement
Everything has value. Lots of usable parts on this car. Plus dude likes his toy. Let him enjoy it.
In the real lambo the engine is slightly off set lol ok my guy 😅the engineers did that for a reason. But this is very awesome 👏🏾 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 wish I’d had a dad who responded to my can we build that with this 😅
Needs bodywork, panel gap and paint.
Ferrari would be butthurt over something like this
Ferrari snubs ppl like this. Lambo embraces them. Say what you will about either beans products, but gotta give the nod to Lamborghini. Ferrari is a snob company that feels like its customers exist for them.
Does it move? 😅
I'm sure that Lamborghini once they done it what was going on with a replica Aventador with 3d printed labels, they were very interested because to them they can use that on there high end builds that and gotta love Lamborghini this shows that they love there customers and will gladly help out any one! Unlike Ferrari who says no and here's the lawsuit! Great job in pulling this off!!!
It's fake because it's not a Huracan It's a aventador.
God that looks terrible
Better than no car 😂
Why are you telling god this?
It’s not done yet it’s literally covered with unfinished primer. It’s gonna look insane when it gets a proper paint job and the rest of the car is buttoned up. Not to mention this guy spent next to nothing to get to this point.
@@Fr8train003 not saying it isn’t going to look amazing someday, or it’s not a neat idea, just that it currently looks incredibly terrible.
@@cshader2488 I agree to an extent. It currently looks “terrible.” This makes sense because none of the cosmetic finishing has been performed barring the oem interior pieces which have been assembled. Keyword cosmetic. My whole point is that of course things aren’t completely pleasing to the eye because that is the last step in the process of building any product. The car has a really good shape and proportions and the parts he picked out make a lot of sense, when it’s done I think it will look a million times better than a kit car.
