Usually i have found that if the people in the picture are at the same length of the camera they are dating. This is because they both want to respect that the other is ready for the picture. If they are at different distances from the camera or one is not looking at the camera, that is a sign they are unprepared for the photo (usually). From my own experience i find that siblings don’t usually give a shit about the other sibling not being prepared for the photo. The biggest flaw with my theory as i have seen, is that if they have been dating and been together for a long time, they start giving less of a shit about the other being prepared for the photo or not. Because they know them better and know how offended they will be from it like with siblings. Tldr: If one is unprepared for the photo they are siblings, if not, then they are dating.
