Dude, you operated that radar perfectly. It’s taken me months to the point where I quit DCS because everybody was giving me the same low effort answer of “just watch these 2-3 year old videos on how to”, meanwhile I just watched you erase an entire bloodline like it was nothing.

I'm just trying to understand your first shot into a bunch of friendlies, what made you know that you had a bandit locked up and not a blue? All the other engagements had enough datalink history to make it highly likely to be a bandit. Is it just due to the screen ratio that we're not seeing you actually run a IFF scan on the bottom left of the Radar screen? Fantastic videos, I've hopped into PvP just barely and am having a lot of fun mimicking your tactics. Averaging 2-3k/d.
How do you zoom in and out on the right MFD without actually clicking the buttons next to it? I've been trying to figure this out for ages, and so far no Google search has made me any wiser
Dude I cannot get the headmounted oval working. I Tms up on the ground and it works fine but once I take off it stops. Do you need slave mode for it instead of bore and what buttons are you using?
@@rippp4631 yes dogfight mode, tms up for borsight, tms up for headmounted cuing. Set aim9x to bore, uses middle step longpress to switch to aim120c in slave mode, second I take off go back to dogfight doesn’t work tms up only will bring me to boresight can’t get oval egg again
@@SecondProfessor if I'm not mistaken it should just be switch to dogfight mode and TMS up for the oval, I don't touch anything else really as the default config is fine
tms up once is the boarsight mode but that’s the default there is two different stages of tms up one the boresight scan then up again for helmet mounted! Am I missing something with my settings that is messing me up? I gave you everything that I run. I also use missle override basically dogfight and missle override is all I use.

SOI The data link page and slew the curser over the datalink target and TMS switch up on it

It's called a primary datalink track, make HSD SOI then just TMS up on any datalink track

You can bind those mfd buttons to anything, just hover over them and it'll tell you which mfd button it is, it's usually something like RIGHT MFD 19

If you're on a budget the x56 is what I use and it's fine, but if you have more money something from winwing or Virpil

TMS left a few times, he turned yellow not green on the FCR so he's definitely hostile. Green pops up pretty fast usually

Only thing I change is both missle ovrd and dgft I have my right screen on datalink
