4:37 the reason why CCRP is more accurate when it's paired with a CCIP in the same system is that CCIP technology is more modern and uses more parameters to calculate the impact point. And when you have a CCRP associated with the CCIP, it benefits from this more modern accuracy. The CCRP technology in itself is a relatively old technology and at this time, it used less parameters and less accurate ones too =)

I'm not sure if this makes much sense. CCIP and CCRP are more like terms for the product, a concept, not a specific piece of technology. The technology that goes into it has nothing to do with the concept itself. On top of that, I do not believe CCIP and CCRP are separate systems, they recieve information from sensor suite and is processed by the targeting computer to produce the CCIP and CCRP. It is, I believe, incorrect to address them as if they're independent from one another.
@@DanTheTan CCIP appeared later than CCRP. They had time to improve the processing units. It's just my guess btw.

I might try doing it again with smaller bombs and carpet bombing.
This strategy would go 10x as hard if you could squad up with a drone operator like a bradley.
Hey hunter! Would be nice to see you try the eurofighter with brimstones, people use it as an alternative to fire & forget missiles. They basically fire the brimstones using GPS, then go as low as possible (using trees as cover), then about 10 seconds before impact they pop back up and guide the missile with lock. Would be nice to see a tutorial on this since it’s a very tricky maneuver to perform!
Thats the reason why you should never park your AA
Then again, you cannot shoot missiles from moving AA..
@@Tedger it's not about ALWAYS moving, just change your position from time to time. I try to avoid spawn as an AA whenever possible because it's the first place that pilots will look at.

Do that with Ka-52 using unguided rockets.
Then go into cockpit view, select AAM and youll see the distance to ur mark, then select Rockets, and match the rocket hitting range with the distance to the mark

Most players have no idea how much they can help the team when they use Scouting to identify targets. For those who have a plane it is an immense help to dropping the bombs.
I have had that CCIP map lock on and many times my dang bombs would drop and Oh boy that ticked me off.
That's so satisfying when you get the 2s6 in the f4 LOL

This change makes the F-105 a nice SEAD aircraft, the only thing left is for gaijin to move it down to 10.0 so it could be a nice CAS.
Also, in the F-84F, its CCRP tends to lead drops too much, often making better to place the marker short during a bombing run or dive bomb wich usually lessens the lead excess. Additionally, assigning the designate target to a mouse button allows for faster bombing when within visual range, functioning like a "pseudo CCRP" method. However, this approach does not account for momentum, so a straight bombing run is necessary.
My bombs land on mark most of times if I was level flying with F84 and A4 as well, basically planes with CCRP only, if you are diving even if slightly the bomb will land shorter than the mark, and if you were climbing even if slightly the bomb will land longer than the mark. This problem doesn't exist with modern planes that have CCIP+CCRP.
If one getting killed by this, it mitgh as well be considered a punishment from God for sitting too long
Imagine doing this in that Swedish push-prop strike fighter, with the earliest CCRP you can have.

When I spaded that plane and was grinding through 8.3 ground I used to have to used the gunsight as a more effective way to set target point to try kill AA in spawns using 3 rd person without the map was hard to get accurate drops

I've been using this tactic with the JDAMs on the F-117 to knock out enemy SAMs before I start targeting tanks with the GBUs. It's pretty successful because they usually remain pretty static, especially since they have a hard time seeing you on their radar so they think they're safe :)

I have tried this many times in the test flight on static targets. No matter how good the drop, RNG seems to be a major factor in how the bombs fall and it's rare for them to land close enough to destroy a tank.
Sorry but you are not approaching right I would say, my bombs always land on the mark, I miss only when the target moves after drop.
With old planes that have CCRP only, try to be leveled always before drop, don't climb and don't dive as well, not even slightly.
I love using this tactic with the F-15C using the GPS bomb. Maybe you could try that?

Might have to try this with the 9.3 Buccaneer. Having to get close enough to see where to bomb on that fat thing always ends up in me getting shredded by AA or straight up missing with the bomb because that thing's tail is as tall as a building and blocks your view.

This seems to be viable for doing some safe distance shots on enemy convoys ec air sim

Do you know if the F3H-2 demon gets ccrp? I love that platform but with no sight/indicator its a pain having to stuka dive straight into radar spaa guns.
Tip: X-Ray any plane in hangar then point the mouse cursor on pilot, you will know it has CCRP or not, plus more other features.

@Hunter_i86 It doesn't even make sense to function like that when irl the Orion-A was mainly used for ground mapping. The Su-24M even used it exclusively for rangefinding as it didn't had a laser rangefinder.
Hopefully my suggestion for addition of ground mapping modes goes forward in the forum. It would do justice for the Su-24M and for the Tornado IDS

how are you able to ripple toss bomb? none of the key bindings i use allow me to. if i select a ripple quantity it doesn't drop because the weapon is selected (for some reason) and if i don't i only get the option to drop one or drop in series.

Hi Hunter. How do you drop bomb in series after picking ripple mode? I use "drop bomb series" key - but it drops all of them no matter the ripple mode and "drop bomb" dont work when I pick ripple mode.
Hello. Keep pressing the ripple button until you get the "S", then drop the bombs with "fire secondary weapons" button.
I mean - how you throw 2 bombs at once :D I can drop one or all of them no matter the ripple mode
@jimmyjazz166 you need to use the "fire secondary weapon" button when you have the ripple mode selected. If that doesn't work make sure you have weapon selection on
