Rudolph Jam-Packed w/Classic Commercials (Re-Upload)

- This is a re-upload of a video that I made several years ago that got pulled down because of a copyright issue. I fixed that issue and here it is again.
There are MANY more commercial breaks in this than there really were - that was some thing that I did to increase the length and make it more fun to play around the holidays and in the background.
Most of the commercials are the same ones that are in my two compilation videos that are on my channel, so hopefully that’s not too boring. - บันเทิง
I cried like a baby I'm 66 and felt like a little girl again
I'm 45 years old and I just ordered a 40ieth anniversary my little pony my dad got me when I was 5. I cried too, my dad has passed already but the memory of him letting me pick a pony at the store never faded. I suppose the older we get the more emotional we can be about childhood experiences ❤
I can relate.👍👍
I know what you mean, I'm 66 also and just seeing and hearing that This is CBS bumper brought back great memories. Watching Rudolph is the cherry on top. 😊😊
Time flys.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
I'm sixty-one years. I still make time to watch Rudolph every year. There are parts in it that still make me cry.
Narnia the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe by c.s. lewis and rankin bass
I think I'm enjoying the commercials more.
Same
They bring back memories
I regret wanting to cut out the commercials when we got our first Betamax player. Too many awesome commercials.
Me too
Same!!! The sweet, unbridled nostaglia. Commercialistic, perhaps, but definitely gets you in the mood and now gives us a means to escape from our busy lives!
These commercials bring back happy holiday memories from the 70s and 80s and 90s
Now all we get is mentally ill overindulgent fad garbage.
I used to love that spiraling special presentation. Most always meant a cartoon. We have to always look forward and not get stuck in the past but those memories of special times gone by touch a special place in our hearts.
This is the best version on TH-cam now. The commercials are the best part. So great. ❤
1:47:26 yes, they’re.
A haunting journey through the corridors of time, where the specter of vintage commercials looms large. The tendrils of nostalgia grip tightly, particularly in the realm of the holiday season. Does anyone else sense the eerie echoes of Christmas vibes? 🎄
Rudolph always aired the week after Thanksgiving which was early for a Christmas Special, it is a timeless classic that has aged well.
Merry Christmas and a HAPPY NEW YEAR
It was early for the time. Now they can't hardley wait until Black Friday.
Im 49 years old I have watched rudolph and frosty every year never gets old like it's brand new streaming blocks it on CBS have hulu live tv noticed last few years it's blocked to watch or record have rudolph DVD it recorded when it reaired this year
I remember when these aired you dropped what tf you were doing or got tf home so you wouldn’t miss them. Thanks so much for sharing this.
I remember all of this. I just don't remember this many commercials. I guess we were more patient back then. Thank you for posting this.
You're welcome. I jam-packed it with more commercial breaks than there really were.
@@SomeClassicGameMusic that's a paddling
In the dimly lit expanse of memory's corridors, we embark on a journey haunted by the ghostly presence of vintage commercials. Nostalgia, a formidable force, tightens its grip, especially within the enchanted realm of the holiday season. Can you, dear reader, feel the mysterious echoes of Christmas vibes resonating through time? 🎄
Thank you for sharing! I’m watching this with my 8 yr old I was her age when this Aired. She loves this movie and fun to see the commercials with era toys and first generation video games
I treasure this
This really was a magical time. Thanks for the memories.
Interesting stroll down memory lane with these vintage commercials! The nostalgia hits hard, especially during the holiday season. Anyone else feeling those Christmas vibes? 🎄
👍🎄🌟🎄🌟🎄👍
I'm literally watching Christmas movies and listening to Christmas music while it's thunderstorms here in Dallas tx
So going off the Charlie Brown commercial. this broadcast takes place in year 1986. for anyone curious
This is the highlight of my 10 hour flight from Japan to LA.
Thank you for uploading!
It was a 12 hour flight for me from Alaska to Okinawa in 1983
Ty so much. This movie will always make me super nostalgic. And that Johnny Cash commercial is just the icing on the cake!
INDEED! That cool train commercial, I can remember it just like Rudolph! Awesome stuff! Merry Christmas....circa 1974!👈🏼💪🏽✌🏼😎
I’m now 60 and absolutely love this 📺👀❤️……classic memories ✨
was hoping to see some Norelco commercials from the 60's. :( But this was still a fun flashback for me
Or the Christmas toys r us commercial from the 70s---80s
Last time I got the easy bake oven I had a heck of a time finding the replacement bulb and tried using one from the tree... Somehow I survived ⚜️
I love these videos from the 70s and the 80s
This is the way to watch Rudolph. Or Peanuts, or Frosty, or the Grinch '66. Or ANY of the specials. Watching them on DVD (without commercials) makes these specials timeless. Watching them WITH commercials... puts me back in my 9-year-old self like nothing else can. These specials are indeed timeless... but nothing describes the feeling I get when I see those commercials again... it's like 1982 all over again.
Someone else said '86 I was definitely thinking '82. Maybe it's both, they added more commercials here.
Comet just stood there while the other yearlings made fun of Rudolph.
There are certain memories, childhood experiences, moments in time that are very important to us, special, unique, and just make us feel, well words can't express or explain it. Back in the 70's I was a little boy. Born in 1967 I spent the early parts of the 70's playing, and loving being a kid. We had issues however. Divorce, alcoholism, infidelity, lying, and fighting did create some scary and terrifying situations for a kid. I remember my "hiding" place. We had been given a 📺TV📺 and back then some were quite big. Ours had a 25" screen but it also was a big floor unit. I took box and I made a "fort" out of it and I put it in my closet, that was when things got "heated" or scary I'd dissappear. I had an extension cord running from outside into the wall. Even at 6 or 7 I was a DIY person. I had pillows, blankets, my Humpty Dumpty Lamp, books, and toys. During the Holidays it thankfully calmed down. But I can remember one time I had seen a book, it had toys on the back. It turned out to be the JC Penny's Christmas Catalog and the Sears Wish Book was next. I spent hours and hours inside my fort, marking the toys I really liked. I usually got quite a few toys since that was their way of saying sorry? For me Christmas was the one time when we all we together, everyone got along, and we all had fun! I don't mean to make it sound bad. We had, I had some really wonderful memories of Christmas. One memory in particular was when I was young, maybe 5 or 6. My Grandparents moved from their home to be close to me. They moved in across the street from us and THANKFULLY SO. My Grandparents were very special to me. Whenever things got really bad, or I was just scared, it didn't matter if it was 11pm, 1am, 3am, 5am, raining, snowing, below zero temperatures, whenever I called my Grandparents my Grandpa would always come and get me. On 🎄🎄🎄Christmas🎄🎄Eve🎄🎄🎄 we would always plan on going to my Grandparents house on every 🎄🌜Christmas🌛🎄Eve🎄🌜night🌛. Every year my Mom and Grandma would make a really cool relish tray full of great snacks. Ritz Crackers, that canned cheese, or squeezy cheese as we called it, Salami or Summer Sausage, Sweet pickles, baby dill pickles, celery stalks with peanut butter or a dip of some kind, ⚫⚫Black⚫Olives⚫⚫, Green Olives, 🥕🥕carrot🥕sticks🥕🥕, maybe some 🥪🥪sandwiches🥪🥪. We'd eat, fill our bellies joke, tell stories. I loved hearing my Grandpa's stories from 1910, 1920, 1930, and more. Then to distract me I was allowed to open up a present🎁 or three🎁🎁🎁. While I did that my Dad and Grandpa would go back across the street and they'd "decorate" the house. If we had snow they would make 👣🐾👣🦌Reindeer 🦌🐾👣Tracks🐾👣🐾🦌. They also used that old "Canned Snow" and they'd spray "SANTA CLAUS WAS HERE" on the side of the house, on the 🪟🪟windows🪟🪟, and one last bit of realism, Sleigh Tracks across the front yard. I was usually getting sleepy by the time they came back, so Dad would scoop me up and we'd heard for home. As we got to the yard, my Mom yelled, "LOOK! LOOK! SANTA WAS HERE!!" Well that woke me up really fast!! On this particular Christmas Eve night I got one present that couldn't wait until Christmas Day. A 🐶🐕Puppy🥺🐶🐕. But these memories were wonderful and yes we had issues, but family is family! I love my parents. There was nothing like Christmas time back then. But one thing that still hits me hard is that CBS Spinning SPECIAL PRESENTATION that comes before these classic shows. As a kid hearing that music🎵🎶🎵🎶🎵, and again seeing the spinning Special feature logo I still get Goosebumps even now, at 56 years old. These Television shows, the JC Penny's Christmas Catalog and the Sears Wish Book, going Christmas shopping for 🎁🎁presents🎁🎁 for my family, and getting and setting up the 🎄Christmas🎄Tree🎄. The real tree made the house smell like pine. It was epic! The lights, the city would completely change. It was so beautiful. A transformation that only happened, only could happen during 🎄Christmas🎄time! Merry Christmas to everyone. Family is the most vital part of Christmas. Never forget them or hold a grudge. Family is the most important and the best part of any holiday. God Bless us all, and once again, Merry🎄Christmas🎄 and have a Wonderful and Blessed New Year.
I will be grateful for the next 1000 years
This is fantastic! Thank you. I was feeling a little sad this holiday season but this really cheered me up ❤
I Love This It Brings Back So Many Wonderful Memories ❤❤
I was born in 1972 this is my generation when commercials and Christmas were about family not material things, and every commercial had a jingle. Sometimes the commercials made you feel better than the television show.🤣🎄😃
Born in 71 very much agreed
Say what? The commercials weren't about material things in the 80s? You must have the strongest pair of rose colored glasses ever made if you think the commercials weren't just about stoking materialism to get more money. I had a lot of fun watching them too, but they aren't about family.
Agreed born 69’👍
Missed this Christmas,I was in Cam Ranh Bay Republic of South Vietnam . Merry Christmas .
You don’t think ADVERTISEMENTS were about material things?? That’s why they exist… they wouldn’t have been made if they weren’t trying to sell you something. Wow your nostalgia is strong
I'm honestly enjoying the ads as much as Rudolph! Thank you for bringing back so many happy memories for us!
I enjoy Rudolph the Red-Nosed and Frosty snow man. Merry Christmas too you all. Ho Ho Ho.
1:31:58 me too.
@@nathancruz9172 thank you and happy Holidays.
@@johnhritz3198 you’re welcome 😉

I enjoyed the commercials more than the movie 😂
Thank very much for bringing this back!! It is very much appreciated!!!
Coming from someone who was born in 2010 I got to say that this movie is really nostalgic for me
This is my favorite Christmas show
Oh man this is amazing brings back so many of my great memories as a kid growing up in the 80s the greatest decade a time when I was truly happy and at peace with the world. Then not long after I hit puberty and discovered women and 3 divorces and a fortune in child support later …life was never the same.
this was one of my favorite childhood Christmas movies. it's been a long time since I watched this.
Ohhh how I remember these wonderful movies and commercials ❤
Thank you for the upload!! Hubby and I watched and loved the commercials as well as Rudolph 😊😊😊😊
Thank you for sharing with us and Merry Christmas! What wonderful memories, commercials too.... miss those simpler times.
Fame and fortune was actually sung instead of were a couple of misfits during the times those commercials aired
Yeah, you should have added both the songs.
This stuff is great with the original adverts in tact, really good quality too, thanks and happy holidays ❤️🌲
The stop-motion puppets used in this production were given to a family who stored them in a hot attic. Only two survived in poor condition - Rudolph and Santa. They were brought to the Antiques Road Show where they were appraised at about $8,000 to $10,000. They were sold and totally restored. The last time they sold at the auction price of $368,000, and now reside at the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta. If only the family had saved all the figures.
LOVE the old commercials! Thank you for sharing this.
Seeing some of these ads since their first airing and when you see something that you either had or really wanted lol but just could never realize it under the tree. Great stuff, great time. But I don't like being the guy ' looking back ' . Ah well, all the best to you one and all.
How I miss the old days growing up. Wish we could turn the clocks ⏰ back
1:48:11 me too
I agree. As soon as they release the way back machine to the general public, the earth will be full of those who missed these wonderful times....
"She said I'm cuuuuute" ❤
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL.........my favorite ........
Thank you for putting this together!! I LOVE IT. Brings me back to my childhood. Great memories. Merry Christmas! Subbed to your channel.
“There’s always tomorrow “ ❤️🌟 beautiful song…✨
Fantastic! I LOVE the old commercials , i remember some of the and Had some of thoes toys ! my Mom ia amazing ! Don't know how she did itall !
The clapper is now obsolete now that we have Alexa.
" The Clapper".. mean something totally different now🤣🤣☮️🎅
These commercials are killig me. Right back to the beginnings.
This was taped in December 1983 off someone's VCR my roomie and I pinpointed from some of the commercials. THANK YOU for sharing something so special, the commericals made it extra SPECIAL AND COZY!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
If anyone was wondering why we dont see the "easy bake" anymore. Back in the day, kids would stick what ever fit in the slot to see what would happen if you'd cook it. Houses burnt to the ground. Lawsuits, civil trials, amputations, etc, lead to the discontinuation of Easy Bake.
😢😢...🤣🤣🤣FACTS☮️💜🎅
…. They still make and sell easy bake ovens today.
@@billiejoemerick7564”facts”….. yeah, facts……. Really well checked facts lol
Finally a Real Classic in The American Christmas Tradition 😊😀❤️❤️❤️😊😀
Was a fantastic experience for my brother and I growing up in the 80s. Appreciate your work here. Merry Christmas!!
It's like someone took a VHS off my childhood shelf and put it on TH-cam, everything is exactly the same as the one I had commercials and all!
That was super wonderful, it was exactly my childhood Xmas era and I remembered it all. Thank you for taking the time to make this, it made my Christmas very special. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
We’re old 😅 merry Christmas 80s babies
This looks like possibly early to mid 80s🤔
2:28 oh my god this is toooooooo nostalgic! Pulls on my heart strings like something else.
Rudolph was just as important as Santa at Christmas and don't forget Frosty ,all of them make a wonderful Christmas, even at 60.😁
Has anyone else notices the copywrite date is MCLXIV -- 1164? No one has ever caught this?
12/4/1985...Cowboys v Bengals game was 12/8/85...Cowboys lost, so not much has changed 😅
thanks for the upload....i feel like a kid again.
Way more fun than my dvd copy! Thank you! 😆
Today is the last day of November 2023 , this year out of my den went so fast.i thank God for liberating me from death.THANK YOU FATHER , MY GOD.
I miss seeing and hearing that classic This is CBS Logo, brings back good memories.😢😊❤❤❤
You know what they are advertising! Love me some Classic❤️. Thank you
Wow nice upload,awesome memories
now I want an easy bake oven 😄
I love the commercial for the easy bake oven light bulb not included.
1 Timothy 4:8-9 As the saying goes, “Exercise is good for your body, but religion helps you in every way. It promises life now and forever.” These words are worthwhile and should not be forgotten.
Piss off with that crap.
Thanks for this upload. This brings back so many great memories with my whole family. It was so different and just a great time to be a kid. I miss these days so much.
Same here it really brings me back to a better time in my life, everyone was still around Aunts, Uncle's, grandparents. I really believe that we were blessed to have experienced those days, I miss them now more than ever before. Merry Christmas 🎄
Watching this movie is making me HOMESICK
Thanks for sharing 😊. Much appreciated.
I'm not sure why this video is 2 hours long. The 70's version on CBS was always 1 hour, including commercials. I believe the channel host inserted the extra commercials for a nostalgic affect.
38:42 is my favorite part!!!
This is really great
Thank you
You're welcome!
This is great!! Thank you for this!
That commercial advertising a charlie Brown christmas made me sad because i dont think they even show that on tv anymore because it talks about Jesus Christ (the true meaning of christmas.) And that m&ms commercial "that m&ms feeling" 🎶 🎵.
Thank you ❤
Wow time warp so fun 🎄🌟🎄🌟🎄🌟🎄🕊️❤️
I was 4 years old when this aired, Wow.
what a time it was...
I so love this so much!
LOVE IT!!!!
Nice to see commercials with people I can relate to.
That comment was so sweet
I'm skipping ads so i can watch ads.
Gotta love the 80s
More modern commercials than classic...Dang.😁
Kinda funny they consider these classic, let's go back to the 60's version with those great Norelco electric shaver commercials!!
I've noticed that most of these old Christmas commercials involve or are geared towards children, a lot more-so than today. Did you intentionally choose commercials involving children? Or is that just how it was back then? More focus on the kids/family back then?
Awesome . loved it!!🙂
Awesome
This was the best of the 60s
Oh snap thanks for reminder I am gonna get Rodney and Rhonda out of the CLOSET ❤
