Is beautiful ,you do wonderful work ,about the pillar do you just push the pillars all the way donw ,can you do that with bigger cakes or you recommend to use a different method for bigger cakes ,I'll appreciate if you can help me with my question ,TY.
Hi Beatrice. Thanks. Yes the pillars do get pushed down all the way to the bottom. And yes you can do as many tiers as you like with these. You will need plates to match the sizes of the tiers. I prefer the push in pillars over the two plate method. You just have to be really careful when pushing them in, that you do it straight as possible. There is a link in the description box to my Amazon shop where I have my recommended products. Thanks a bunch for watching and for asking a great question.
Hello, I love your videos. I will be making a similar cake this weekend and wanted to ask if the pillars can hold both a 6" and a 4" double layer cakes. Any recommendations? Thank you
Hi Thank you 🙏 and yes the pillars will hold. make sure to dowel the cakes . i use straws and a wooden dowel through the center. Also glue down the cardboard base (the one under the cake ) to the plastic plate. Keep it from slipping. Hope that helps
Hello again, about how many guests will the cake that you made serve? The couple added more guests, I need to make enough cake for 55 people, thank you.
I believe it was 5o ish. The top tier being saved by the bride. The cakes are three layers with two layers of filling. You can get a lot out of that cake. 55 should not be a problem. But it does depend on how you cut it. Just to make sure I would have an extra cake to have as a back up in the kitchen for cutting.
you should be able to get them on amazon or wilton shop on amazon. there is a link below the videos in the description to my amazon shop where i link to pillars. my internet is not working proper yet as i am in florida where the hurricane hit us. start with my link and then go from there. i’ll be back asap. three weeks without internet ughhh
