The reason you taste plaster Ross is because mangos have natural latex and can sometimes have more or less depending on the variety and time of year.

23:57 my grandpa always used to go out in the forest and get like a 20L bucket full of blueberries and those where fantastic. (by used to i mean he has a bad knee and not that hes dead.) the huge ones that they sell in stores are very watery and dont taste much.

Fruits are interesting to rank, so much depends on the individual piece you're having unlike candy. For example, a bad strawberry could be a D when a great plum can be an A or S.
Wtf was their plum, it actually does look like a dessicated testicle. In Australia, in their brief season, plums are purple and spherical, and the flesh is blood red, dripping, and is the juiciest thing one could find naturally on earth.
@@skarloeythomas5172 We do have plums like that in the UK too, lots of types actually. The ones the lads bought are like the "lunchbox standard" type beaches they're cheap.
@@skarloeythomas5172 As far as I know that's the major kind of plum we get in North America as well. When they described theirs as "bland" I was shocked and went back in the video to only to find that sad little fruit.
@@SorryYoureCanadian I know! Bland my arse. Plum is the best fruit and it's a shame they are both so expensive and rare. I have always stood behind wanting plum dark chocolate, or plum coke. It tastes better than most deserts and its nourishment is immense.

Growing up I was always told the outside of the kiwi was very nutritious
i always eat the kiwi skin, its like a sour treat on the outside and sweet in the middle
i eat the skin mostly because i'm too lazy to eat it the normal way and i don't mind the flavour or texture

I totally understand what Ross said about mangoes plaster-y aftertaste. Its more common in red, crunchy mangoes. I think its either the chemicals used during ripening or maybe its natural in this variant of mango.

One thing I love about peeling citrus fruits is afterwards your hands smell amazing.
Suggestion for another tier list - pot/instant/super noodles. Lots of varieties and flavours. Another one could be cheese varieties, assuming the lads are not lactose intolerant.
I like how they didn't feel horrible after the ranking. It's the best.
The only reason why apples aren't S is because they vary SO much in taste and texture. You can have 2 apples in the same packet. One tastes like a warm day running through a meadow with a beautiful young lass - and the other tastes and feels like licking soggy dirt.
Top tip from an Australian where Lychee are common, they're way easier to eat if you just crack them open (basically squeeze them in the right way) and peel them, no knife needed ^-^

Yeah I live in Hawaii and there are several types of mangoes here so many are so good.

Very hard to get good fruit here in the UK. We don’t have the climate to grow much so everything imported has to be picked before it’s ready and stored for a long trip over.
Raspberries are a definite S-tier for me. I would probably put them above strawberries. Yeah, the seeds can be a bit annoying, but the taste makes it worth it 200%.
I feel like ripeness is a huge factor in this. As a producer manager I've tried all of these and with that said I still agree with the list for the most part.

Fun fact: Most of the taste in raspberries comes from the seeds, making most seedless raspberry products seem tasteless.
Some fruits gets lower rankings because they are tricky to eat, some are but do not.
Some fruits gets higher rankings because they are useful, some are but do not.
This is exactly the kind of consistent ranking we tune in for, never change.

oranges (clem) are also a personal favorite even if they're a bother to eat every time.
naturally you'll rate cheeses next then crackers, also i'd be interested in seeing the gregg's baked goods.
I have redcurrant and blackcurrant bushes at home, and I will say, I prefer them to plums, when it comes to a quick pluck and devour combo.
Best way to eat redcurrants: Get some yogurt, honey, cinnamon, mix it all together and throw the redcurrants in there - fantastic dessert!

The best fruit I've ever had was a fully ripe pineapple a friend brought from the Azores. The skin was deep orange and the core was fully edible. Fucking amazing!

The reason blueberries taste better in loads of stuff you had, is likely due to it being made with Scandinavian blueberries, also known as bilberries.
They should call it "World Ranking" shortened to "WRanking" and each of the boyks can be "World Ranking Professionals" shortened to "WRanking Professionals" or "WRankers", they can take some creative liberties with how they pronounce these if they do or don't have silent Rs or so on 👀🤣
I feel personally over the recurrant ranking, it's one of my favorite berries to pick off the bush and just scarf down like the primeval primate I am.

I feel like all fruit is S tier as long you're not allergic to it, and you know how to recognize what is actually ripe vs what isn't. It takes time to learn how to recognize which fruits are in season and are ripe though, and it feels like it's impossible for me to do with anything that is packaged in a plastic container

Oranges that can be peeled by hand are S tier. They travel well for hikes or walks, can be discarded anywhere, and are delicious.

Fun fact boiks - you can eat the kiwi with skin on, as the skin contains alot of anti oxidants and 1 kiwi contains the same amount of vitamin C as 3 oranges! God tier fruit.
The kind of blueberry that's white inside is only meh. The kind that is bindlingly violet inside (aka. bilberry) are S-tier.

Peach, gooseberry, blackberry, starfruit, dragonfruit, jackfruit, durian
pineapple juice dosent work well for tenderizing, since by that point all the stuff that tenderizes is essentially dead. You need fresh pineapple (the skin works too) and just blend it then use that. And make sure not to leave it too long because it will literally start to make the steak disintegrate
I actually do use the squeeze and peel technique for bananas it's much easier to peel. The monkeys do it right

it really does matter which supermarket you go for fruit though. I mean Waitrose is the only chain supermarket worth going to for fruit (Fairtrade bananas for one). Local grocers perhaps.
More than 90 percent of these fruits grow in my yard i have over a hundred different fruit trees on my property.

Grenadillo: looks like a peach coloured grenade. Open it up to reveal white frogspawn type fruit similar to passion fruit but tastes of fruity vanilla.
