Linda, back in the 70’s my cousin, working as New York State Trooper, had a very similar thing happen to him. Thankfully he survived, but left the patrol, he sustained serious injury to his kidneys from the beating he took. We need to keep all first responders, people working in trauma/icu areas in serious prayer. We’ve seen things we will never forget & carry with us on a daily basis. We need to keep all first responders, people working in trauma/icu areas in serious prayer. We’ve seen things we will never forget & carry with us on a daily basis. Only by the strength of God do we get through this.

Domestic violence calls are by FAR the most dangerous calls to respond to. When some people are caught in emotion like that, their totally enraged, depressed, suicidal & are not thinking rationally. Glad the deputy survived & is ok.
