I absolutely LOVE this spread Mary Ellen! I love that you pushed yourself out of your comfort zone with the mixed media. So many TH-camrs do the SAME design every week (same lettering, same colors, same flowers and stickers in the same spots) and they are really tired and boring. Great job! Btw, I love that you didn't do the predictable holiday spread for the first week of December! 😍
This is insane! I love how you incorporated everything. It gives me old school scrapbooking vibes- which is where my obsession for papercrafting and stickers began!
Hey Mary Ellen, I really like how you did this spread. The neutral colors are beautiful and thank you for incorporating velum into your spread. I am very impressed.😀
I like this spread! It's unique, it's different!! Everybody has what they like. Me, for instance I tend to shy away from a lot of black boxes. I love color, boxes, stickers, washi tapes, you name it. If it's colorful I like it !! Just keep doing you!!!
I love this. I use to scrapbook many years ago and want to again so for next year I've bought a Big HP for memory planning so this gives me inspiration. Please do more!!!
I was thinking Wild Style would of matched great too! But what you chose turned out amazing too! I love when Artist Mary Ellen comes out to play lol thanks for sharing love 😁😁
That was my thought too but I like the boldness of the botanicals with it better than being so neutral and light. So works well this way I think. I was thinking too bad she filmed this before the Black Friday say with the new jewel tone boxes book bc that would have popped nicely.
Love this spread! I ALWAYS take the backing off my stickers pages when I buy them. My husband thinks I’m strange, but it works for me! Thank you again for your content. So much inspiration!
I absolutely love this spread... it is my favorite one so far and I think I may be giving it a try myself in my next spread... Thanks for the inspiration 🥰
Love it!! It's so nice to see ways to use subscription boxes like Planner Society and Simply Gilded in a HP spread! I JUST found your channel, and I'm binge watching! Ha! Definitely hoping for more videos like this. Thank you for sharing!
Bumble Break?! OMG I love that!! Please show her with her little Kong balls, too! I was laughing so much when you described how she whines for the new ones so you have to hide them! #BumbleRules This was another great spread! Your spreads inspire me so much, and I love trying your techniques in my planner. Thanks, as always!
I love watching your videos. When I started using a happy planner 6 months ago, I subscribe to a lot of happy planner channels, however, I'm stuck on your channel. You are genuine and make me feel that I can do this. I did unsubscribe the other channels keeping you and Heather Kell. I will like to see this spread after the pen.
Loved watching you create this spread. Glad to see that Bumble listens to you the same as my two Maltese listen to me NOT! Also having lived and worked in England I still say “bits and bobs”! Yes, would love to see more videos like this!🌻
I loved this spread! It’s so unique and I love your thought process even when you’re whacky! Please include more Bumble Breaks in your videos... I don’t care what Bumble does or doesn’t do! It’s hysterical!!! ❣️
I love your commentary on this one, like "eww yikes!" Lol, if I wasn't actually watching I'd wonder what the heck 😂 really loving this spread. I haven't planned for the week yet, think I will now! Gotta love the back planning!
I love how it turned out, the spread is beautiful. I’m always against dark colours, but that’s due to having worked in London and wearing black all year round!🤣 So I avoid it like the plague. That said, recently I’ve been eying a bit of black with sparkle for a sewing project, so who knows. Thanks for the inspiration❤️
I’m new to planning, I love your layouts, but I have a functional question...when you have a box sticker overlapping several dates, how do you know which date your writing in it corresponds to?
I loved this spread. I like your thought process. I only wish your videos were a bit shorter I never get to finish them all in one sitting because of how crazy things are. But this one was extremely enjoyable
Always love your work. Its always so neat and well balanced. Would you be able to tell me a planner name that is very neutral, classic size, and vertical for 2021? I've not had time to watch many videos... I'm homeschooling 4 grandkids and caring for a household of 7 and my elderly mom. I'm always doing something. I need neutral I really don't want colorful. No colored boxes or lines, etc. Thanks for your videos and any suggestions you can give.
I have been thinking about sharing this with you for a while, but I hesitated. Today is the day because between 2:30 and 2:35, you demeaned yourself twice. Since this is the source of your livelihood, I encourage you to listen to your videos to hear the criticism of yourself. When I first started watching your videos, you did one talking about perfection. I will say that you've come a long way, but the self-deprecation is not motivating to others. Please work on your confidence and trust that you ARE talented. If you aren't good at something, you don't have to say it. For example, you always say "I am a doodler not an artist." Doodling is art. You are an artist, a creative. Also, please don't say that your boyfriend says you're a workaholic. That is way too personal if this is a professional site. Yes, it's great to share some of your personal journey, but it is better to do so in the context of your craft. BTW, I am an experienced communications strategist, so these points come from a place of constructive encouragement. I also work on women's issues and events, so I hear in you what many folks may not pay attention to. Seek out some resources to help you with your professional development. Look at other women who have grown their platforms and take notes. Speaking of notes, it's great to freestyle your videos, but you mentioned that you needed to limit the design time. I think if you dedicate some prep time on your layouts, you'll have more succinct videos. Not saying that impromptu changes aren't good, but keeping a note with the elements of your layout in front of you will help. Hope that you receive this in the spirit in which I am sharing...
I appreciate your constructive criticism but one of the things people say to me over and over again is that they like me because I’m relatable. I want it to feel like you’re sitting down with a friend. I’m okay with sharing parts of my life. Yes this is a business but the way I choose to run it is in a casual, fun, genuine manner. I’m not going to censor my videos and become a teacher without warmth and relatability. I say what comes to mind, I don’t edit much, and honestly I’m okay with that. I do know I’m talented. Otherwise I wouldn’t do this. I won’t lie and say I like something when I don’t. I’m not one of those planners who will say “it’s so cute!” with everything I do. People would see right through that. I’m always honest, and some people have told me that it makes them feel good that even the “pro” planners aren’t happy with some things they make. ❤️
Also, just watched where you said I put myself down. What I meant was I don’t know what I’m doing in this spread, i don’t have many ideas...in other words I just didn’t preplan. On purpose, so that people can learn my thought process as I try to figure it out.
@@PlanningwithBumble Thanks for responding and "hearing" me. Absolutely being genuine is important. That is why I keep watching you. Again, just offering some insight based on your comments. Only you can determine what your happy middle is in order to grow your audience and business.

Thanks so much! I get bored if I do too much of the same thing all the time. Lol
This is insane! I love how you incorporated everything. It gives me old school scrapbooking vibes- which is where my obsession for papercrafting and stickers began!
This is SO cool. It’s really different & I love how your style is continually evolving & you try new things. Fun to watch
Love the mix of scrapbooking design and planning. Very creative!
Very nice!! And the Bumble Break was funny!!😂
More of this kinda stuff, please! I love it.
I love 💕 this spread . Love the neutral colors .
Hey Mary Ellen, I really like how you did this spread. The neutral colors are beautiful and thank you for incorporating velum into your spread. I am very impressed.😀
LOVE it!!! I love using scrapbooking paper in my layouts. Yours looks fantastic.
I think this came out really cool. Definitely interested in seeing more of this style.👍
Wow, very unique and beautiful. The washi tape, vellum made this spread. The best spread for 2020.
Thank you!
This is amazing! What a great way to use scrap paper!!
Great spread. I love the scrap book layering effect. I plan to make bookmarks for Christmas, so will use this effect on some. Thanks for sharing.
I like this spread! It's unique, it's different!! Everybody has what they like. Me, for instance I tend to shy away from a lot of black boxes. I love color, boxes, stickers, washi tapes, you name it. If it's colorful I like it !! Just keep doing you!!!
Color is my favorite! Especially pastels. I like to break it up with neutral sometimes though
Love the spread. This is one of my favorites you have done!
I love this. I use to scrapbook many years ago and want to again so for next year I've bought a Big HP for memory planning so this gives me inspiration. Please do more!!!
This is very different, kindda vintage.. for me is like a mix of planner and bujo. I loved the scrapbook papers you used.
I was thinking Wild Style would of matched great too! But what you chose turned out amazing too! I love when Artist Mary Ellen comes out to play lol thanks for sharing love 😁😁

I always mean to do this but it’s so much work lol
i love it. i like the corners so much.
LOVE THIS! Such a good break from the typical spread. You should branch out more often. It’s so pretty!
I absolutely love this spread... it is my favorite one so far and I think I may be giving it a try myself in my next spread... Thanks for the inspiration 🥰
So absolutely beautiful! Love how it turned out. I really like how you used different materials instead of just stickers.
Love it!! It's so nice to see ways to use subscription boxes like Planner Society and Simply Gilded in a HP spread! I JUST found your channel, and I'm binge watching! Ha! Definitely hoping for more videos like this. Thank you for sharing!
Cool spread!
I am all for this spread. I love the combination of planning and scrapbooking and just being creative all together!! There are no rules!!
I love this! The tearing of the paper really gave it like a cool, vintage feel. P.S. I loved seeing Bumble!
I love your spread!! It’s so pretty.
Bumble Break?! OMG I love that!! Please show her with her little Kong balls, too! This turned out so pretty!! Love your creativity! 🖤
I love this! It makes me feel better about adding a little bit of other kinds of media that is not stickers.
You can do anything you want in your planner!
Awesome spread as usual!!! The Bumble break...poor grasshopper 🤣

Super cute love the products you used
I love your creativity! 😍
This is a beautiful spread 😀
Turned out cute😃
Would love to see some more recipe plan with me spreads.
I have been thinking of using velum in my planner, but, never got to it. It is awesome to see. Totally awesome spread.
Your planning style is one-of-a-kind! I always enjoy watching because you have such cool ideas.
Hi there...love the spread. Please do more like this spread.
So creative love it 🥰
Gorgeous, I love it
Yes love it so creative
Love the spread, I gravitate towards the more unusual that’s why I love it xxx💕
I am a rectangle person too! 🤣 Struggle to use any circle or curved stickers! I don’t know what that means but I’m glad I’m not alone! 😂
Love love love this!
Love it! Would really like to see more spreads like this one, it's really unique and creative ❤️
I love your commentary on this one, like "eww yikes!" Lol, if I wasn't actually watching I'd wonder what the heck 😂 really loving this spread. I haven't planned for the week yet, think I will now! Gotta love the back planning!
I really like this spread! It's so different than what you normally do, and I love it.
There's nothing like a neutral spread ❤❤ i love it
This might be my favorite you’ve ever done!!
It reminded me of like old letters sent home from war in the corners. If that makes sense... I like it!
BTW, the layout is great.
This is gorgeous!!
I'm watching you from the UK and always say "bits and bobs" 😂
I like this spread, Mary Ellen. It is neutral & that is different for you. 🥰
Was fun seeing you do some different in your spredd. Love it like always
I LOVE it!
I love it!!
Loved how this turned out...... I was worried at first, I’m not going to lie! 😂 definitely a spread I would love in my planner xx
Love your videos so creative!
LOVE this one too!!
I ordered a bunch of the box stickers from aprettyplanscape. I can't wait to get them!
Love this..
Love ❤️ It !
Great job! I love it!
Other than the initial pain when you cut the vellum it is a beautiful spread.
I love this spread awesome and different but I don’t know if it’s been the best year ever due to covid lol
Nice neutral spread.
I’m new to planning, I love your layouts, but I have a functional question...when you have a box sticker overlapping several dates, how do you know which date your writing in it corresponds to?
Typically the box is more on one side than the other. Then I know which day it's for.
This is so creative! I think that's pretty left brained of you
I loved this spread. I like your thought process. I only wish your videos were a bit shorter I never get to finish them all in one sitting because of how crazy things are. But this one was extremely enjoyable
Yeah I wish they were too! But I can’t plan that fast and people seem to like the less edited videos
Totally 80s!
This was different and interesting. The only thing I would do differently is cut the paper, not tear it off. Tfs.
Always love your work. Its always so neat and well balanced.

The plan a happy life one is neutral. Same with the cat one and the dog one
@@PlanningwithBumble thank you so much for your reply.
I LOVE this spread!!
At 12:30i wonder how many "best year ever" stickers actually were used without sarcasm in 2020 👀
Lol you grabbing the sticker now with my exact thought as to why it may be used 😂 poor 2020... At least it will be remembered
😂😂😂
