Would love to see your dual reaction to a similar Falling in Reverse reimagining called "I'm not a Vampire" and then the follow up "I'm not a Vampire Revamped." Great reaction though, it's a beautiful song for sure. Love both versions.
Ronnie did 2 other versions like this. The first is "I'm Not A Vampire - Revamped" and then the 2nd is a cover of Papa Roach's - Last Resort. You NEED to watch those as well, they are both like this one here
Ronnie did time in prison for violating probation for having brass knuckles. This was when a friend of his ended up shooting someone in an altercation. This was when he was still in Escape the Fate, and the band kicked him out when he went to prison. He then wrote pretty much the first Falling in Reverse album in Prison. He's mellowed a lot as he's gotten older... but he's still the same very outspoken Ronnie Radke.
‘The Drug In Me Is Reimagined’ by Falling In Reverse is a profound and emotional reworking of the band’s 2011 smash tune ‘The Drug In Me Is You.’ The song is about lead vocalist Ronnie Radke’s battles with addiction and how it has affected his life and relationships.
It's really great to see people reacting beyond just the scope of the music itself, and into the artistic prowess and beauty of the songwriting/videowork itself. To that end, I'd strongly recommend "The Dali Thundering Concept - The Sea Starts Here" for an audio/visual/conceptual mindf*ck. Brilliant technical metal with unreal lyrical content and a super intriguing video. I think you'd both love it. Cheers!
This is great and Ronnie's tone is SO much better on any song but I'd have the first version on a playlist if I had to choose only 1. Really crazy how the lyrics fit a ballad.. that he wakes up one day with this idea is wild.
The misconception is that he done time for murder, incorrect, he was there to fight someone but his friend shot the guy, so Ronnie went down for some legality
He got put on probation for being at the fight that the kid got shot at and having brass knuckles in his pocket, then violated probation with a failed drug test
As a 46 year old who played in punk rock and death metal bands for 20+ years I rarely take well to modern, popular music. I only discovered FIR about a year ago. Ronnie is UNBELEIVABE. I'll keep it short but dude is amazing in every way. They're probably my favorite current "rock" band. Ronnie and Tom MacDonald are friends. IMO that would be the GOAT of collab's. And yes Millencolin is AWESOME! Loved them as a teen in the 90's. They're later stuff matured but is also great.
If I remember correctly, I heard somewhere (an interview Tom did a while ago I think) he was supposed to go on tour with Falling in Reverse a few years ago, but it fell through due to Covid if memory serves.
Love the song, obviously. You two...too? Weird wording. But your reactions are great. Annoyingly good if I have to say, which I don't but there it is. Chemistry! That's the word. We got there. Well done me.
Love you falling in reverse reactions! Can you please listen to My Apocalypse from his old band Escape The Fate they were even better than Falling in Reverse in my opinion. Also check out Don't Mess With Ouiji Boards off FIR's 1st album it's quite a bit heavier and I think you might choose to go back to it Dave

She looks like a proud mom watching ronnie🫶🫶
That hard ending is so “what it is to burn” by finch.. almost identical… and beautiful.
Lovely reaction, so glad yall were able to check it out, Ronnie really is an amazing musician.

This is after prison. Ronnie wrote this in prison while looking in the mirror. He is saying that he is basically his own worst enemy.
This is a fave of mine, so glad you've done it ❤

i'm not a vampire and its reimagined version is just as good if not slightly better than the drug in me ones

This is the much better version.
The misconception is that he done time for murder, incorrect, he was there to fight someone but his friend shot the guy, so Ronnie went down for some legality
I think he was on probation for a drug charge and his involvement got his probation revoked, so he had to do the hard time.

So good.
