I'm glad Hori could take the time and make an additional extended chapter for the ending. I think that's why he did it too, because this chapter is longer than normal, so he needed more space and time after some rest. This makes the series end up on a MUCH better note, especially for Deku compared to that of before.

My biggest problem with chapter 430 wasn’t that Izuku and Ochako didn’t get together (despite the IzuOcha trash that I am); it was that there were clearly reciprocated feelings and major build up for 10(!) years of heavily implying an eventual relationship just for it to be completely dropped. Izuku losing his quirk and *seemingly* being abandoned by his classmates was bad enough, but at least the super suit was able to mostly rectify that in the end. Then chapter 431 comes along and fixes almost everything! It shows that class 1-A are still close despite their busy schedules, Deku says he still would become a teacher even if he still had OFA, and his super suit allows him to spend even more time with his friends. And of course, 10 years of waiting finally pays off, and we get Deku confessing to Ochako and her immediately reciprocating. My heart! It bleeds!

It only makes sense to push for more anime and manga to encourage straight ships, and not gay ships. People need to stop with the Izuku dad thing. The guy was working overseas to provide for his family and when stuff got crazy, the borders to Japan were literally closed. There was no reason for him to show up, and even if he did, it would be when Izuku was at home, so we wouldn't see it. The manga focuses on Izuku's HERO ACADEMIA. Not his home life where his dad probably gets to visit for a few days every few months.

She was there to receive his acceptance letter, made his first costume, etc. His dad is in a VERY different time-zone so having him call would naturally be very rare as it wouldn't line up well with other people's schedules. Not to mention that as a salaryman in another country, he likely doesn't have a lot of time where he isn't working. Again, it's entirely possible he showed up to visit during holidays or school breaks (but even that is rare for Japan), but Izuku moved into the dorms and the country literally shut down the borders, so the chances of ever seeing Izuku's dad became extremely miniscule. He's important to Izuku. He just isn't important to the overall story of Izuku going through school or becoming a hero. Heck, it's possible he actually is back home now post-timeskip. We haven't seen Izuku's mom after the eight years either.
I feel like a cool concept for a sequel series would be hero’s finding out that these high tech battle suits have been either copied or some stolen and sold on the black market. Anyone could be a hero OR villain.

That's the biggest problems with my hero. They did the villains dirty. They brush the fights all for one plans were dumb. Tomura downgraded into a side character. What was the whole point of making him have character development? I'm sure the author had big plans for the liberation army, but because of the editors, it got destroyed.

Went from the worst possible ending to the second best ending that the series could have had just because of them giving us chapter 431. They only thing better would have been if Midoriya had somehow managed to keep at least one of the quirks (likely it would have been float since it was the last one he had left near the end of the battle) or if Eri had still been able to use her quirk to give him back One For All. I'm very happy with this new ending.

God I love the series but HATE the fandom. Everyone saying Deku was a looser because he decided to be a teacher just… what… slept through a huge chunk of the series? Like ffs the entire show they repeatedly hit on how important teaching the next generation is and how everyone even non-pro heroes are important for society not to keep producing villains like Shigi hell some of the most respected characters are quite literally teachers who never do hero work and these brain dead ding dongs go “man what a looser Deku is”. Drove me insane how dumb this fandom is.
Despite it's fandom and sort of lackluster ending (not as bad as JJK and Oshi no Ko imo this ending is kinda okay-ish and the fact that we never saw his father), it's been a great journey and having 4 movies is great. Since Horikoshi sensei is done with BnHA, I'd like to see him supervise or add more stuff in the upcoming anime like Tite Kubo and Bleach
I should not be so fixated on Izuku gradually then suddenly being absorbed into Bakugo's car, but that's all I care about. He's so sqwished and I love everything about this.

my only problem with the ending though I have problems with some of the commentary in the story as a whole is the fact that each year time skip I think it would’ve been better if it had been either time skip to graduation or train skip to graduation of University But that’s just my personal opinion, and it’s not that far off at the age of 24. Plenty of people would be graduating college at the age of 24 if they had anything that caused them to delay or if they were trying to do something more than just get the basic college degree
The hate clearly saved the serie in the end. The final chapter is horrible but this one clearly saved the sad Mac Donald end. All the soyboys who were happy with the last chapter don’t deserve this epilogue.
I like that with Toga pushing Ochako it basically becomes the recurring theme of "My legs moved without me even realizing it." Good callback to how he saved her at the entrance exam
You can ship ,write, draw whatever you want. Dont get upset and turn into a toxic fan the moment someone disagrees or doesn’t like what you created. Especially when a a voice actor, the author or creator doesn’t agree or support what you created. Resorting to threats accusations is not healthy nor is it okay or acceptable.

Most of these piss-poor gay ships are just someone trying to force their own representation anyways in a franchise that shuns and discourages their shit.
We saw what happens when you push a gay ship too hard and force it canon too. RWBY STILL has not recovered since the fake fans forced the gay ships to become canon with their threats and harassment, and it pretty much made RWBY unwatchable.
I say stay based, keep pushing for straight ships.

People need to stop with the Izuku dad thing. The guy was working overseas to provide for his family and when stuff got crazy, the borders to Japan were literally closed. There was no reason for him to show up, and even if he did, it would be when Izuku was at home, so we wouldn't see it. The manga focuses on Izuku's HERO ACADEMIA. Not his home life where his dad probably gets to visit for a few days every few months.
Then why did they show Deku's mom? What’s her purpose in the Deku's life of my hero academia

If they could show a family member of Deku's, then it wouldn’t hurt to make a small interaction or phone call about his dad. Even in the dorm incident they collected every parents opinion but deku's dad can't even make a phone call.
Working overseas doesn’t mean you can not make a phone call when your child is in danger.
This just makes negative points to deku's family.
Because Horikoshi wanted All Might to be Deku's primary father figure. Hard to make All Might his father figure if Deku's biological father is in the story.

His dad is in a VERY different time-zone so having him call would naturally be very rare as it wouldn't line up well with other people's schedules. Not to mention that as a salaryman in another country, he likely doesn't have a lot of time where he isn't working.
Again, it's entirely possible he showed up to visit during holidays or school breaks (but even that is rare for Japan), but Izuku moved into the dorms and the country literally shut down the borders, so the chances of ever seeing Izuku's dad became extremely miniscule.
He's important to Izuku. He just isn't important to the overall story of Izuku going through school or becoming a hero.
Heck, it's possible he actually is back home now post-timeskip. We haven't seen Izuku's mom after the eight years either.

That's the biggest problems with my hero. They did the villains dirty. They brush the fights all for one plans were dumb. Tomura downgraded into a side character. What was the whole point of making him have character development?

Went from the worst possible ending to the second best ending that the series could have had just because of them giving us chapter 431. They only thing better would have been if Midoriya had somehow managed to keep at least one of the quirks (likely it would have been float since it was the last one he had left near the end of the battle) or if Eri had still been able to use her quirk to give him back One For All. I'm very happy with this new ending.

God I love the series but HATE the fandom. Everyone saying Deku was a looser because he decided to be a teacher just… what… slept through a huge chunk of the series? Like ffs the entire show they repeatedly hit on how important teaching the next generation is and how everyone even non-pro heroes are important for society not to keep producing villains like Shigi hell some of the most respected characters are quite literally teachers who never do hero work and these brain dead ding dongs go “man what a looser Deku is”. Drove me insane how dumb this fandom is.
the series made this clear with Aizawa and All Might that teachers are in fact important... How anyone misses the point makes me lose my mind.
Despite it's fandom and sort of lackluster ending (not as bad as JJK and Oshi no Ko imo this ending is kinda okay-ish and the fact that we never saw his father), it's been a great journey and having 4 movies is great. Since Horikoshi sensei is done with BnHA, I'd like to see him supervise or add more stuff in the upcoming anime like Tite Kubo and Bleach

my only problem with the ending though I have problems with some of the commentary in the story as a whole is the fact that each year time skip I think it would’ve been better if it had been either time skip to graduation or train skip to graduation of University But that’s just my personal opinion, and it’s not that far off at the age of 24. Plenty of people would be graduating college at the age of 24 if they had anything that caused them to delay or if they were trying to do something more than just get the basic college degree
