Yep, there are different (4) species of human - Homo Sapiens ( Cromangones and Neanderthals got mixed with each other and there are we as humans), Homo floresiensis also called "hobbit", they are extinct and Denisovans, also extinct, and we did not change as humans for 5000 years, same chromosomes, same diseases.
