ngl this is about exactly what I needed for my Adam West Batman costume, legit just saved me hours of messy work with EVA foam trying to achieve that hard plastic look. Gonna buy the materials tomorrow!!
I'm going to be making a 1939 styled Batman cowl using this method. Great video by the way! Really helpful, and it also proves that you don't have to go out and buy a $200 cowl when you can make one that looks just a good at home.

It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to create an Iron Man suit costume without the hard work. I've heard some amazing things about it and my colleague got amazing success with it.

I've been working on my own DIY superhero cosplay for a couple years now, and my favorite materials have been Plasti-Dip and 6 mm EVA foam boards. You make me really curious about peltex from your constant mention of it, though. Maybe I'll try it someday.
One Idea I was thinking of for some basic mask would be to have some kind of brace or partial face shell for the mask to keep the ear shape and form of the mask, while still being sort of how its portrayed in the animated films and cartoons; Kinda like a pull on mask instead of a big bulky helmet.
Definitely going to use this.This tutorial is godsend. If you could put out a template it would be helpful but I try to figure myself out from what I see on the screen.

id say black spray paint and some other thing that makes it shiny which i forgot the name of would make the mask look a little bit more like lether
