Nah Look up Texas state trooper Swat, they have APC tanks, but the one with no cannon, and bigger Swat trucks, like military MRAPS, that's my opinion tho, Texas is better

With an extremely small plate carrier lol. I couldn't believe his armor choice, which in my professional opinion is a horrible and quite possibly deadly one. I would never wear something that left my gut and lower back area so exposed, that plate carrier is wayyyy to small for his frame. The only other time I have seen something quite this ridiculously stupid was on TV or in a movie.

The CHP's SWAT unit is not utilized quite as often as the other large departments in California like LAPD or LASD, but I'm sure they get a few call out's here and there. They are based in the CA capitol area, which is Sacramento and that area does have a pretty substantial crime problem and is a "high crime area!" So I am sure these guys do a mixture or Narcotics Search Warrants, and barricades, etc. What people might think they do, would be extremely rare and that would be something like a Highway standoff, so I am sure these guys are more often than not called on by other departments for SWAT duties. So agencies in and around Sacramento would ask these guys to come out or to help with serving warrants.

I decided I did not want that affect. I went into EMS in the hood , then Navy/Marine service for 8 years , then Emergency/ Trauma Nursing in Level One and Twos. After 37 years ..... I have the same affect as described above , my head on a swivel , noticing everything. Strangers ask if I was a Cop ...... Being in EMS in Jersey .... my hats off to you
