Craig and Conan were my 2 favorite talk show hosts. Both are so quick-witted and spontaneous with the guests. You never knew when it would go off the rails, but it was hysterical every time it did. 😂
And they were opposite each other on the same time slot. We were spoilled.
I'm glad more people are starting to react to more of Craig Ferguson. The guy is naturally funny and definitely deserves more credit as a comedian and a talk show host.

An excellent example of seeing Craig put his guests at ease is his very first interview with Ted Danson. Within the first 5 mins of Ted appearing, you can actually see him physically relax. There was also another guest who you see relax but his name escapes me at the moment

I never knew about Craig when he was on TV late night, but I think I've seen every video of him available on TH-cam. There is a channel called "The Jayleno Fly" that has over 600 videos of his shows, and another called "Late Late Show w/ Craig Ferguson Archive" that has over 1300 videos. Lots of laughs on most of them.

Craig's interviews with Alice Eve and Kate Mara are really fun ones. I'm probably forgetting some others but Craig's flirting skills are legendary and these ladies really gave great interviews that played off his antics really well.

Craig was brilliant. I have hundreds of complete shows. Best talk show host ever.
Part of the reason the guests feel relaxed around Craig, is that he isn't relying on the standard "talk show questions" when they come out. Actually the show provides them for him, but he rips them up, as the guests come out, which leaves him free to ask whatever comes to mind. As for the rattlesnake mug, actress Mary McCormack gave that to him as a gift, that she picked up while working in New Mexico on the show "In Plain Sight".
My favorite late night talk host & he was a boss with his female guests. Saw his stand up live about six months ago. Hilarious ,of course.
Good thing is that there`s soooo much more funny stuff like this from him.
His talk show, on air from 2005-2015, was best talk show I've ever watched. It was great, at least partly, because it was an almost "anti-talk show" talk show!

Fun fact I used to see him all the time growing up in the 80s because he lived just along the road from me, I didn't know him personally, he wasn't famous yet, just a struggling stand up looking for his big break. Who would've guessed a guy from little condorrat would make it big.
Craig got sober and started on the Drew Carey show once straightened out back in the 90s. . He also had some big parts in some UK movies (Saving Grace)

Craig Ferguson is my all time favorite talk show host. His show became especially hilarious when he got his robot sidekick, Geoff Peterson, on the show. o
Craig is a national treasure of two nations. I loved his hosting style and comedy. His signature move of ripping up the cards with the prearranged questions and throwing the pieces away was awesome. Behind him, Conan was up there as well in my list of favorites. The rest of the talk show hosts (save the great Johnny Carson) are just not at the same level.
My favorite impromptu bits are when he brings audience members on stage and interviews them.

He played the boss on The Drew Carey Show. I love Craig Ferguson. His show was so good, back when late night shows were non-political funny shows. He does a stand up bit about Sean Connery being the real James Bond that is hilarious.

I had never heard of him until two days ago when the algo took me there because of Robin Williams. O…..M……G…….Ferguson had Williams on his show many times, and when the two of them got together , it was improv GOLD. Perhaps too many F bombs for you on this channel, but oh man…..brilliant stuff.Ferguson was one of the few people I’ve ever seen who could keep up with Robin.
Loved his late show especially when Dr Who was featured.
He’s a great voice actor in Brave and how to train your Dragon but check out his film Then came you which is set in Scotland and was really good
