Bmw R nine T, is one of the most desired motorcycles among Cafe Racer enthusiasts.
That is why today, i will present 2 projects.
The first one, is based on the BMW R nine T Racer, and built by Jens Von Braun, and his JVB moto's team, in Germany .
The second one, is based on the standard BMW R nine T, but it is probably the most elegant I’ve ever seen.
Built by Willie Knoll, owner of Clutch Custom Motorcycles, located in France.

Never liked a BMW motorcycle. This original styled café racer, is the perfect transformation. Together with the beautiful tank, front fairing and the cylinders which i never liked of BMW, finally got a great look. Well done mechanics!

BMW will always be an extraordinary machine, no matter what. It is not the motorcycle that I am able to buy, but I am a fan of the style and the brand. Who does not? There is history, design, power, perfection even legend. In these beautiful projects, what comes to mind are the details that lead to the perfection of a machine that is already perfect. I had to do a double take when I first saw this R !
It is frankly so refined, that if I hadn't known better, I would have mistaken it for a factory production bike !

I think I'm in love. I bought and modified my new R9T Pure last autumn. Now she has Cafe Racer looks but with a more comfortable flatter bar - not extreme like the standard BMW Racer. Special imported Fairing, plus a custom seat, custom paint etc. But I always love looking out for other modified R9Ts. Both of these were amazing. Thank you!

The “Clutch” version of the r Nine t is distinctly elegant. Simply superb! This is a classic custom Café. The first version presented is another example of subtle changes that force you to look! I enjoyed watching both of them. My choice, I enjoyed the Clutch version! Very nice and classy. As always, thank you my friend for Racer TV, the Café Racers only choice! By the way....... anxiously awaiting your CX update!

You should make a Video about the creations of Markus Walz. Especially the "Shizzo"...
The retro was very good. Hard to be radical with that bike coz it's so good out of the box. Love the white shock. Though would not want to clean it every 20 miles. )

O segundo projeto é incrível, não quer dizer que o primeiro não seja, mas as linhas do segundo projeto estão perfeitas,o conjunto do banco com o tanque de gasolina se encaixaram muito bem, fico clean.

Ainda não tem um estilo definido, mas está entre a café e a brat... Ou a mistura das duas. Rsrsrs é uma Honda Turuna 125 ano 80. Estava muitos anos parada, está com apenas 5.600 rodados, mas ficou muito tempo levando chuva e sol. 😥😥 mesmo assim é impressionante como os cromados resistiram esse tempo todo em perfeito estado de conservação. Só o escape e uma parte do pára-lama que estavam ruim devido a arranhões. Estou muito feliz e os vídeos estão me ajudando muito. Obrigado!👌😉👊😎

Estive ausente, meu comentário demorou um pouco, mas aqui está.
A R Ninet é uma moto intrigante para mim. Um amigo possui uma, é sempre um sucesso onde vai, mas ela sempre me pareceu inacabada. Falta-lhe algo, na minha modestíssima opinião. No entanto, por ser uma BMW, marca premium e exclusiva aqui no Brasil, eu acabo desistindo de provar meu ponto de vista. Para muitos, se é BMW, é perfeita (risos).
Seja como for, as duas motos do vídeo são incríveis e a segunda me parece perfeita. Assisti algumas vezes, surpreso de como uma alteração na traseira modificou tanto a moto, embora também deva tecer elogios ao belíssimo depósito de combustível. Enfim, uma moto belíssima.

I have questions. What do think about the sky team Ace 125 and doing a engine swap to a cb 350
Unfortunately, i think the size of the Cb 350 engine is too big to fit on the sky team Ace 125 frame.
But the honda cb200 engine would probably fit well. :) Good luck. Cheers.

Dois excelentes projetos. A Nine e talvez a moto mais preparada pra ser customizada pelo sub chassis aparafusado. Pena que é uma moto cara e pouco compreendida.

The R9T racer is for younger riders, I found it fun to ride but also found it uncomfortable even on a short one hour ride.
Yes, everyone said that it is uncomfortable. But it seems this problem can be easily solved with new and higher clip-ons. Thank you my friend for sharing your opinion. :) Cheers.
what do you use for the voice ?
I am really sorry my friend, but unfortunately this is one of those
secrets that i can't reveal. It took me a lot of time and effort to find
this robotic voice. I hope you understand me. But i can give you a
suggestion. Try the Neospeech software with "Hugh" male UK voice, which is also very good. :) Cheers.

Nice, and I'm sure both are pulling down serious Euros for their builds. But I'm really not a fan of those LED rear strip lights. Who was it exactly that determined there should be virtually no distinction between the seat and the frame loop and the light unit? Are builders all so scared to make a true design statement in plastic or carbonfibre?
I'm aware it's not easy, and the spectre of OEM obviously has to be avoided - right? But I've not seen any real design input into this area since the guy in Canada build that great VFR in blue.

I'm currently planning the work for a CBX550 Café Racer, and dreaming a VFR Streetfighter that will be funded by a US spec VF750 V45 Interceptor.
I keep seeing things that people seem to rave about, but most will never even contemplate living with, or even rude.
Moving away from OEM is a natural process, but you only have to look at the way chopper customs have gone in the USA (carbon fibre elements AND the down tube replaced by a solid lump is badly wrought steel!!) to realise why Russell Mitchell at Exile was so successful in setting some inspired and much needed new, saner trends - right in the heart of weirdness.
Bikes are to be riden, and even a hot Café might have to be riden in the rain. Good Practical Design isn't about LOOKING practical, it's about how the thing works in real conditions. To this end, design has to go beyond the aesthetic. It has to work.
I understand everything you said. It is also a very respectable approach.
Personally, i see cafe racers as a second bike to have some fun on the road. It is just a matter of personal taste and needs. :) Good luck for your projects. Cheers.

At 6:55 is the only bike worth mentioning at all. The rest is crap but not even near enough said about it and where to buy it from and how much. I guess I'll have to travel 180 miles to the nearest BMW dealer with a picture to find out if it can be purchased. I really do hope it isn't computer operated.

Excelect work on the video, but from my personal perspective, the JVB R90 is overrated, fairing, bigger tyre and clip ons in a differente positions make not great builders, on the other hand Clutch Custom R90 is totally different, not just in the style but in the work done, just my personal opinion no offense!

Does the robot narration bother anyone else?
Unfortunately, things are more complicated than most people may think. I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real American voice in one of my videos, but things didn't work as I expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non-English natives. Cheers.

It is obvious that you have an infatuation with BMW. That bulky engine coming out of the frame from both sides looks crazy. Not a good design nor look compared to many other bikes.
