What tool can I use to take off the fill screw on my PTH crown pallet jack? I tried using a regular screw driver and it was not thick enough to loosen the plug
My pallet jack leaks a very small amount of oil. I don't want to pay to get it fixed. I'd rather just add oil every 6 months . Is their a location to add oil without disassembling the entire thing ? If so,where is it ?
You can see it in this PDF: www.genericparts.com/store/manualmodelsPDFs/CR_PTH50_HU.pdf Item #55 is the oil fill plug. Fill to 1” below top. Do not fill completely. If the unit is not a Crown PTH50 then please provide the make and model.

Same as before: plugs sealed with copper washers can be loosened by striking with large pin punch and hammer. Then use screw driver”
