Thanks for the video! I'll add a tip in: The 3rd family quest you didn't cover is to deliver 30 fabric for 1k vocation and a blue salt bond. Don't grow cotton for the wool, but rather raise sheep. The difference is it takes 10 cotton to create a fabric and 3 sheep wool to create a fabric. Buy 2-3 sheep and you can harvest 20-30 a couple of times a day from them, then make them into fabric. Cheaper and easier than growing cotton.
I have 5 16s and a Thatched full of baobabs in Arid. Arid is key as they have a reduced chance to die after harvest and are harvestable every 10 hours. I make 280g a day from Baobabs by gathering for 30 minutes
Nice video! Just one more tip , you don't need to be in a party/group to do family quest, and everyone in that family can harvest the item (after you have completed it) to get 1.5k vocation badge, even if they didn't take part in doing it. They just need to be part of same family as the one who put down the item.
You can complete the family quest, like the pumpkin, tree, sheep, etc... log off, login the other character and click on it and get credit, there is even enough time to then logout, login a second account and get credit for it a third time.
Hey I like ur videos :) With this method (bawbaw trees 😄) 10min 700Labor 33 gold. I think it’s the same as opening coinpurse. 1min 20x 700labor 30-35 gold.
Thank you! It’s good to know that it makes about as much as coin purses. It takes me a long time to farm up a decent amount of coin purses though. I wouldn’t mind finding a good grind spot for those eventually.
How big is a Baobab? Same as Cedar or smaller/bigger? Would you except to get like 20 of them on 16x16 like Cedar? And how many times would you say you can harvest before it dies?
They are actually smaller than Cedar. I can get 48 of them in my 16x16 as long as I position them right. Usually a Baobab can be harvested at least 2-3 times before it dies, but many last even longer than that. Usually I lose 2-3 on average every time I harvest on my 16x16.
Just checked the AH on Kaylin and I see a bunch here too now! 300 fruits would get me about 30g at the vendor, but is going for around 40g on the auction house. If they’re selling well it would be a nice increase to the silver per labor ratio.
Depends on what you mean by 3 hours left. If you mean 3 hours left until the fruit are ready to be picked you’re ok. They last a few days once they’re ripe before the trees die.
Video is false. You said that baobab trees are only purchasable with vocations. Meaning for someone who hasn't got time to do daily quests may struggle when the run out of vocation
Thanks! Unfortunately the library has been disabled so those runs are currently not going. To summarize it the bosses in the library spawned every 4 hours and people would make raids to kill the bosses because they drop an item that sells to the vendor for some lofty amounts of gold labor free. Dungeons are similar, there are 4 greater dungeons you can kill the bosses in for drops you can sell to a vendor for some decent gold. Currently you want at least a small group to do them, but I’ve heard that you can solo it once your gear score is high enough. I haven’t run them much myself, but if I do I’ll see if I can include them somewhere.
Yes, which is why I mentioned that this method is a way to get stinking rich but a way to keep a small amount of gold coming in every day for those who have little playtime. It doesn’t take 1000 gold to upgrade a single tier until you’re tier 3 Hiram celestial doing to divine if I’m not mistaken.
I dont understand why so many people rush to get the gear, i mean now gear and gems don't break, which means everyone can get endgame gear in AAU unlike before when it was privilege of the rich, so if you get maxed out now or in 3 months, what's the difference? You gonna fight same people anyway its not like some low gs player gonna think its good idea to yolo a pack or farm in war zones, people have learned so far.
That’s a good point. I’m happy that they have made it possible for more casual players to eventually catch up to the hardcore ones without as much luck needed, so we can enjoy getting there on our own time.
Lol, the purpose of this video was not to showcase a method of making as much silver per labor as possible, but to show a way of making some moderate gold for little playtime for those who don’t get to play as much.
I checked the AH on Kaylin and saw that Royal Seeds sell for just over 6 gold 40 silver a piece, which intrigued me. They cost 800 vocation badges each, so if you complete all 3 family quests you can buy 5 of them. That’s roughly 32 gold a day for completing the 3 family quests which isn’t bad, but I enjoy maintaining a farm. Using those vocation badges I get about the same amount of gold daily, but the trees don’t always die, so I don’t have to spend quite as many vocation badges a day to keep that gold coming in. Also, if I had my farms in an Arid zone I would be able to collect that amount twice a day. If you’re not into maintaining land and/or farming though the royal seeds seem like a decent way to bring in some extra gold.
good explanation, thanks :D Yeah, because im not in Arid zone, not worth for me. Basically its a laborfree way to earn gold, and i can use that labor to get more :D
The Baobabs work well for me because over the weekend I work 12 hour shifts and am not able to log on for more than 30 minutes to an hour. I would lose lots of labor if I didn’t spend it somehow, so building tax certs and harvesting Baobabs is a perfect way to burn that labor quickly and bring in a decent profit.

Awesome, thank you for the tip! Doesn’t sound too difficult and it’s another 1k vocation badges a day. I’ll have to fit that in.
Very nice guide, I find your TH-cam to be very helpful on my path in archeage. Keep up the good content :)
Thank you! It’s very exciting to hear that my videos are enjoyed and helpful. I appreciate your comment!
Thank you for the video. As someone who can play only around 30 mins a day, I really need this!
I’m glad that this video was helpful to you! It can be hard to play AAU casually, so I like sharing methods that work for me.

That is incredible! Thanks for posting. I’ve been tempted to move my farms to an arid zone, but want to try a few different crops out first.

Thank you! Awesome tip, I didn’t know that. Super convenient if you have a lot of family members on at once.

Oh wow, didn’t know this. Thanks for the tip!
Can you explain this to me a little more in detail I would love to take advantage of this

the problem on coinpurse is u need to farm it and kill a lot of mobs
Yeah, farming coin purses is definitely time consuming. You’re right there.

The first rule of baobab club is you don't talk about baobab club!
Lol. Oops 😂
Great video.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed the video.

After the video came out I started seeing a bunch of baobab fruit in the AH

don't try to make family quest near a protected zone (nui or whatever)
Lol! I assume you’re talking about the time our family quest was bugged? I appreciate the tip, will keep it in mind.
@@teamstealthgaming yeah as you can see in the video the cauldron also got the nui buff which makes it imune to every damage or heal
Thx bro! By the way a very nice costume! It is actually in the game? If yes what is it name? Cheers bro!
Thx love the vid
what if i missed the timing to harvest and my trees said 3 hours left? r they gonna be dissappear after 3 hours? =(

great video mic could be louder
Thank you! I’ve improved the audio on my more recent video thanks to helpful feedback like this.
Video is false. You said that baobab trees are only purchasable with vocations. Meaning for someone who hasn't got time to do daily quests may struggle when the run out of vocation
You definitely will have to be able to have a steady income of vocation badges to keep your baobab farm up.
how many can you fit on a 16x16 ?
You can fit 48 Baobabs on a 16x16.
@@teamstealthgaming mmm and how many does each tree produce ?
ZeroXF5 from what I remember I would get about 5 fruit per tree each harvest.
each fruit sells for 9 silver! where are you getting 1 gold?
Hmm, I don’t remember saying that each fruit sold for 1g. Do you mind citing where I stated that so I can check it out?
@@teamstealthgaming disregard I misunderstood.
Talk about the library plz I havent done it yet i heard u can make 25 to 30 gold per run is this true ? Also dungeons

How many can fit on a 16x16?
If you space them perfectly I believe you can fit 48
pretty sure i put 49 on mine
Nice, even better!
70g per 30min is so low in this game because upgrade 1 weapon is almost 1000g

30 g for 700 labor ? cmon man

lol this isnt guild wars 2 ?
Lol incredible! I’ve actually mentioned Guild Wars 2 as a similar game when describing AAU to friends.
i think you are better off just selling the baobab`s saplings for money instead of going tru all this process and paying taxes on land
