I wasn't going to comment at first, but checking on this video and seeing that no one got it yet I feel obliged :D
9:33 on the pole to the left of the screen.
👍 help them find the one for the yumi video cause no ones gotten it yet😂 I even gave a hint
Just understand that this is his Second Genshin Explained video, so some of his jokes tie back into things he’s said in the first video.
Ah, only reason why I didn’t watch the other one first was cause it said OLD in the title so assumed this one had more information
@@Jerriduk You're not missing MUCH but there's a few tidbits.
Not that the schizo-editing does anything to help.
Gambling is the way of the gacha.
As for Kokomi, she literally has built in -100% crit rate. Doesn't stop people from making crit builds with her, and succeed.
21:00 there's tons of places you can teleport to, so it's easy to get around. Tho walking can be kinda fun, if you just want to enjoy the music, scenery and weather.
LET'S GO GAMBLING!
Aw, dang it!
hey kids, do you like gambling?
edit: btw, the "shiji" bit in this Video was voiced by Pipkin Pippa of Phase Connect
We love gambling 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤😂😂
Pippa is just your average deranged bunny
@@Jerriduk fun fact: this is actually the only va work she has ever done, as she is super introverted, her cameo from ultrakill was a sound bit form a stream where she was talking about having some "beef" with Max0r on twitter at the time!
WE KEEP OUR GAMBLING ADDICTION ALIVE WITH THIS ONE!!!
The banner in any gacha is a system that makes a 5 star character available to pull giving you 50% to get this character or another much weaker (theres a specific baner always avalible for weaker 5 stars that exist since the game launched, new characters tend to be stronger in some gachas)random 5 star character, the weak 5 star banner does not leave but the other one keeps switching with new 5 star characters or old ones to give u the chance of getting them if u failed to have enough in game monies to pull, while spending is encouraged by the game it is definitely not needed its just that some people really want a specific character that they loved in the story or their trailers. chosing in witch baner to pull is esential becose the way the elements interact and the diferent role each character has (healer/buffer/dps/of screen DPS) and so on.
(of screen dps means that u only need to use the character for a small period of time before switching to another character and shel still do dmg while u using the other character)
Specificly about genshin the story ranges depending on the contry sometimes its excelent othet times its ok or even bad the last 2 nations where realy good)
the gameplay prety fun
Exploration rely good
But genshin is not very nice to player with the rewards
The same company also mad zzz and star rail check booth of them out they are pretty fun
11:40 there's so many characters that you can pretty easily make a team tbh, and the content isn't hard enough to make you feel forved to spend. I have most characters in the game and ive spent like 30 bucks over 4 years lol
You have alerted the horde.
I love when people react to anything genshin related lmao, stubled on your reaction and you seem pretty chill. this video is a little outdated but i hope it was fun to check out
Hearing Pippa in this really surprised me... it was a pleasant surprise, but still a surprise XD
SHINJI GET THE F*** OUT OF THE EVA
From what I understand a lot of max0r’s jokes/memes about genshin impact have to do with the fact that there’s an ungodly amount of simping and R34 of the characters many of which are canonically either children or are under 18. Some of the memes he does about showers being a genshin players weakness is partly because many of them are sweat lords who go to insane lengths to min-max their characters and it’s also due to numerous stories of people being so addicted to playing it that they won’t shower for weeks or sometimes months because they seemingly can’t pull themselves away from it long enough to perform simple hygiene.
Yes a card game, and fishing game, and recently they also added rhythm game that lets people make their own music maps
Let's go gambling gambling gambling is that all you ever say!!! Get out 🗣️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love gambling, but i love you more.
I have to say: Gambling is nice, but seeing people suffer in video games is even nicer 😅
Be aware that a lot of the jokes in his first video are related to things you can't even see in the game anymore as he was clearly playing very early on. And there's stuff in this video which is referring to years of player-based lore which also couldn't be checked on if you started playing today. A few select examples from the second video (the prime choice in the first one would be jokes about how weird Dendro was):
* People have been trying to force their way to Inazuma (outside of the specific questline intended to get you there) even before it was actually in the game, just to see what WAS already there. In fact, Max0r's video shows he took it at a time in which he had already been there and could have just teleported but he's recreating what players were doing for our amusement. Simply because the history here is interesting and I at least tried the simpler approaches (as well as trying to get back from Inazuma the hard way before that became narratively possible):
* You can't freeze water and travel across the ocean on a bridge of ice, which pre-Fontaine was the first truly long-distance technique for crossing all bodies of water available. You can get most of the way there before the storm starts, and you can keep going a ways through the storm if you're fast and/or lucky, but you won't reach landfall regardless as the storm eventually says "No, I win here" and teleports you out. (This same applies to going back across the water too soon.)
* While you can start using a personal, high-tech boat which first came into your possession in a very early event storyline (whether you're familiar with the event is irrelevant, though new players won't have any context here) as soon as you reach Inazuma, you cannot sail back across the ocean with it while there's still a storm closing the nation off.
* While pre-Fontaine no character could indefinitely cross water and so this wasn't even relevant, you can't do it that way either.
* You aren't supposed to be able to glitch under the water's surface, and I think the specific way Max0r did it here has been finally patched out, but it can be done with enough determination. However, the storm can reach you at the sea floor so your trip still won't get you to Inazuma. (The sea floor in that region has changed several times during Inazuma's release schedule, and again it's clear Max0r has already properly unlocked access both to and from the nation before he took these video shots.)
* Regularly people have found ways to glitch into semi-free flight. A primary exploration target has been Celestia, which has moved several times and gotten new models over the course of the game's development but has never been really reachable (in fact, early on its position appeared to be relative to the character's). Oddly, the moon you see in the sky IS reachable under very specific conditions in which it's no longer part of the skybox (thus, "the moon is physically below me") and has a pretty detailed model although it still isn't tangible.
* While the most recent Windtrace event seems to have been an attempt to recreate Dead by Daylight gameplay (I really didn't enjoy it, though reactions were mixed and often favorable and so my own feedback was that I'd be okay with its existence if that game mode turned up randomly in maybe one out of five rounds), before that it was far more like Prop Hunt. The joke about standing on top of that specific flagpole goes back to the last round of "standard" Windtrace and his narrative is referencing the meme of that time "nobody ever looks up" rather than the reality. Even if you can plainly see somebody standing on top of that flagpole (and this cannot be done with all characters due to a surprisingly low invisible ceiling), if you're in the Hunter role there are only specific points in the game when it's strategically sound to go after them because except at one point fairly late in the round they'll easily be able to escape you. (Assuming they can stand up there.) So this is a joke whose audience is pretty much the playerbase at that time. (This was also a grand time for winning without ever disguising yourself or turning invisible, which I managed to pull off a couple of times, as well as trying to blend in with the setting by pretending to be an NPC who belongs there or just looks right. One of the reasons I was disappointed with the most recent Windtrace was all the preparation I'd made to try this out met with a new game mode having neither NPCs nor encouraging hiding in the first place.)
More to your own focus, if you're easily tempted to spend money I really cannot recommend this game: despite the fact that it's extraordinarily fair in terms of actually letting you play (every single character you might potentially need for either exploration or combat is outright given to you at some point, and with bits of redundancy even there - and people have proven there are often clever ways around even depending on the "guaranteed" set), the simple fact that Hoyoverse is very good at creating a huge cast of distinctive characters, many of whom will appeal to any given player, and good at selling them means it clearly isn't okay for people with impulse control issues. (I try to give them about five dollars a month, and simply accept that my options for having fun in the setting are mostly determined by chance. It works out. Helps that I'm among the apparently fairly few people who like one of the two "main characters" enough to actually focus on using them. Even needing almost seven times as much effort to fully build Lumine (also currently not quite possible: this is expected to finally change within the next thirteen or so months) as one of the "locals" hasn't been an issue for me so far.)
There IS gambling. While you should be able to comfortably get a third of the enormous cast without even spending money, if you're easily tempted to - and I trust you to know your own personality - I cannot recommend this: even though I do feel it's a lot fairer than the typical gacha, and the gacha itself does have pity and guarantees, if you're somebody who could want a character enough to be wiling to drop two thousand dollars for getting them the game will allow this.
Good on ya staying clear of Hoyoverse. I played it safe too for a while. But then I saw Zenless Zone Zero gameplay and wanted to try it. Played it since launch, haven't stopped. Managed to get every character. Only REALLY shelled out for one of them so far. Play at your wallet's own risk.
You should check out Elden Ring in 1 hit by InfernoPlus, I love the humor he brings even if he doesn't exactly play fair with it.
Many fictional characters are literally designed to like an audience insert character if even they don't like you well, RIP.
Genshin is the easy level of gacha games
You can beat content with 5 star characters that released 4 years ago and the 4 star characters are good
It also gives alot of pulls for free by just doing the events
Competitive racist djeeny is true. You are praised without measure but Eremites in this quest are being cursed without any semblance of trying to soften it
Genshin has great lore, characters, music and world but the devs do not really listen to feedback that much, gives out bad compensations and rates compared to other Gachas and is quite Preditory in terms of monetization/gamboling. The only gacha i play Honkai Star Rail, a game by the same compony but WAYYYYYY BETTER Devs. If you want to play a good open world, fast paced combat gacha game with much better devs i hear that Wuthering Waves is phenomenal.
edit: also as max0r said in his first Genshin video, "The Porn is free at least"
GOD I LOVE GAMBLING
1:00 middle of the screen
Why must you do this to me so
I must share a brain cell with you cause I was going to do the exact same thing lmao.
I will say, after I checked my bank statements, I quit the game lmao. Played it for about year, maybe will pick it up again, who knows.
Spending on it, more than the 5 Dollars a month option that gives you the paid currency as log in reward is not worth it. No clue how much the game has improved ever since, but I would say... If you wanna give it a shot, do it whiles streaming to recoupe the losses... Maybe dual streaming to TH-cam and Twitch or something, because the players are degenerates who'll throw money at anything so you should make any spending back, and people also can donate the 5 dollar monthly packs in-game from what I remember. Try it, drop it, play it... Just like every other game really.
I like how max0r just uses a lot of NIKKE(superior gacha) music in this video
What's NIKKE? I've only really heard of Genshin, ZZZ, and Honkai. Only, because I have friends that keep trying to get me to play with them.
@@Jerriduk Goddess of victory, NIKKE. Booba cover shooter.
i love the arknights tracks in the vids, project moon ones too
the blue archive tracks are bangers too
honestly nikke and pgr, even though i dont play em, have bangers
You don't need to spend money, you can play Genshinn complet F2P. 🤗
Cross country gaming
For the love of god never play Genshin. I've played it for 2 years straight. Not playing for 2 years, I've played Genshin every single day without willingly fail (ie had to go to the hospital or something away from my PC or phone). I played it to complete the dailies which you get rewards for to roll for characters. Hell I even got to the point where I made a spread sheet for every character, levels, boss material, talent levels, talent cost, levels, assention cost, boss materials needed, exp books needed, which boss to farm for who, what I have and how much I needed, the math needed to obtain everything, the chance of my random drops being on the low end, how much every boss/dungeon gives you money wise and material wise, how much the dailie resin (time cost) is needed for everything, AND HOLY HELL I WOKE UP EVERY DAY FOR 2 YEARS AT 5:30AM TO MAXIMIZE MY RESIN USE! It is capped at 160, a 24 cycle is is 180 so you gotta constantly use it to get the most out of everything in the game. THIS WAS NOT WORTH IT!
The game started out as 10-15 minutes to do my daily log in stuff. As the game expanded it became 30m, then there would constantly be events with unique rewards so it would be 45-60m, then there is map exploration which can unlock more daily/weekly use items so you gotta keep track of that.
The core story is great and I loved every bit of it. It is extremely cinematic too which is a visual spectacle . But the burnout was just too much for me to keep going. If I could go back in time I'd tell my past self that I would enjoy the game, but it wouldn't be worth my time and to just not start in the first place. I made a promise to myself to never be invested in an online only game like this ever again, even if it is user friendly like Warframe. Never again.
Yeah I already have one addiction, which is WoW I don’t plan to add to the list😂 It’d be like alright “do you want some fent with your crack” -Genshin probably
Dailys now are easy and fast , and you can always play it casually or for story, miniganes(TCG, village simulator, rhythm mode, etc.), or exploration.
And they have plans for this year to add permanent "Mario Maker" (create domains and share/play)
I just know this duck learned nothing from this video :D
Hi there, year 1 Genshin player here: you can absolutely clear the game with characters you get for free! My main is Noelle, who can solo-clear 90% of all game content if you invest in her with completely f2p gear. The Spiral Abyss (Endgame content, think of it like running a raid every month) requires you to have meta-tier characters most of the time, but it's not what makes the game great. Do they weaponize fomo? Absolutely. If you have restraint, it's a ton of fun, and you can play as optimally as you want with very little consequences. Do I recommend playing? Probably not, it's a HUGE time investment with at least another 2.5+ years worth of content before the main story (as we know it) is released.
TL;DR - this was a fun reaction and I really enjoy your chill outlook on a game I enjoy that you don't want to play!
