Love your shorts. They look great on you. Lime green is one of my colors Iove wearing. The dresses are all really nice but the orange maxi is my favorite. It looks amazing and you could dress that up for any events with some accessories. It is the kind of dress that can go from casual to date night.
Love your dresses! You look awesome in the maxi length. I’m only 2” taller than you but not in my legs. Many people say not to wear maxi length when your not as tall as a model but I get so many complements when I wear a maxi length. It’s so slimming. You look amazing in all of them, but my favorite is the maxi length. The Tungsten also looks amazing on you. It’s so flattering!! The color is absolutely perfect on you. You did a great job on all of them, as usual. Blessings, Liz
Love all your dresses the colours are so you. The shorts are lovely and soon as I saw the shirt dress I thought it would look lovely ove the shorts so cool.
Fabulous dresses! I love the way the Brampton shorts look on you. I’m a similar shape to you and nervous about pants/shorts with a fabric belt. Yours look so good, I’m inspired to make some as well.
@@TomKatStitchery 😉 I remember when they were popular in the 80s. I saw this clerk at a stationary store wearing a pair of pants with the paperbag-waist, so it started then, "Do I dare?" "Could I pull it off?" "Big boobs on top!?!" I think you just pushed me over the line! Thanks! 🌺
Loved your choices! Color, fabrics and patterns all are very flattering on you. The Friday feature pattern is a nice upgrade to a t- shirt dress because of the princess shaping. Thank you for the inspiration.
Whitney you're killing me that you didn't just throw the shirt dress over your outfit so we could see how it would look ! lol. love all the dresses tooooo !! thank you for sharing !
Your dresses are lovely. When you were describing the various styling of the print fabric, I saw it as a duster for the maxi tidal dress. Have a great 4th!🎇🎆
I love your Tidal dresses and bought the pattern in the May sale. I’m planning to sew it up for my holiday wardrobe after seeing your macaroni cheese dress. I’m enjoying the full screen video of you wearing the outfits. A definite improvement when seeing your finished garments. 😊. Looking forward to your next video. 🚴♀️🐝
Your three stretch dresses would easily transfer into your fall capsule with other fall colour accessories. I love the button up, all the perfect colours! I was just typing that the button up would look cool as a topper over what you are wearing in this video when you said it on the video! lol Your navy dress is going to be your new go-to dress for all occassions I can see it now! The fit and style is perfect for your body!
I always want to sew dresses after seeing yours!! I haven't worn dresses in forever :( I really love your Itch to Stitch Tustin, fit is lovely, and that shade of blue is perfect on you! Thanks for sharing, and hope you have a great 4th of July holiday weekend :)
I always smile when I see your makes. The colours make me happy and as it’s winter here Australia, I really appreciate that! Off to buy the tidal pattern.
When I saw your print dress (Style Arc?) I thought it was the Love Notions Melody Dolman - lengthened. I’ve made a few Melody dresses and added fisheye darts in the back. Love it!
All of the dresses look great on you but the Tustin-it gives you soooo much waistline definition! Very flattering! One more thing-so how would a person know if the pattern’s waistline matches mine? Would I measure from my shoulder to my natural waistline then measure the pattern to see if it matches?
Are you wondering if you need to raise or lower the waist line? I find the biggest fitting issues come when the waist line is hitting too low. That can cause the smaller parts of the pattern to hit where your body starts to get wider - causing clinging. I don't recommend measuring from shoulder to waist as that measurement has quite a few outliers that an effect the fit. If you can pinch out a horizontal amount at the waist and it brings the pattern up to a more flattering position, then I would try shortening the pattern at the waist!
Love your Max! Really beautiful. I also love those green shorts you have on. Those are the paper bag ones you were talking about it I think. I definitely think I might try those. Do you have any videos out there regarding that ball buster adjustment on one that doesn’t have a dart that’s in a dress like that I know take it and get into the waste but there’s not a waste with that is there? I have no idea how to do that, I don’t think.
Yes! The green shorts are the paper bag ones I was trying out. I'm very pleased with the pattern! I'm not sure what you're asking about the ball buster adjustment. Can you clarify?
I just love the Tidals!! Ok, I have some thoughts about the cut aways, after watching a couple videos. I like the full screen B roll because you take up the full amount of vertical screen, so it's bigger and easier to see. However, if you wanted to do a split screen that keeps using the full vertical height, that's fine too. I know it can feel awkward to stand all the way to one side when filming just to make sure you have blank space for a split screen, but if you're able to use key frames and transitions you can still use A roll and shift it to the side. I'm not sure of your editing flow and I basically know enough to be annoying, so take it with a grain of salt 😂
I am really trying to love the Tidal dress. I made one last summer, am fairly happy with the fit in the front, but don't love the back. I know the seam is there to make adjustments, but I would love to see what those adjustments are. I have slimmer hips and a flat bottom and I don't think it hangs right on me.
@@rebeccarobinson2840 ok! That’s easy with a center back seam. You will just slash the pattern from center back to the side/princess seam and create a “hinge” at the side seam. Take the necessary length out at center back. This will create a more curved center back seam, but you’ll just need to smooth it out. It will fit much better!
I literally finished hemming my first tidal last night and am wearing it now! I went sleeveless and agree on maybe taking a smidge out of the armhole next time. Will your LN code still work tomorrow? Obviously I don't need tidal but I am considering the dockside polo and maybe the sprint muscle tee
@@TomKatStitchery thanks! We have a kid's birthday party every weekend in July and one little guy is going to get a bespoke Pokemon muscle tee, I think.
I really like the color of your shorts and the fit is great too.

Is it catching in the back?
@@TomKatStitchery no, more like it needs to be raised a few inches at the back waist.
