Even if you don't like Fall Out Boy (which I do), you must surely thank Joe for helping form this awesome supergroup and Andy for being their drummer. With no Fall Out Boy members, there would be no Damned Things. Remember that
Great band! I saw them open for Volbeat on 2 tours! As soon as Thomas left Volbeat I thought "Rob would be a great guitarist for Volbeat." Then Anthrax issues a statement saying Rob is leaving. My wife and I looked at each other and we knew Rob would be the replacement for Thomas in Volbeat. I saw Rob and Volbeat in Copenhagen last November and all I can say is WOW! What a show. Oh yeah he produced their album also and the disc is a hit!
"not gonna be teh typical boy meets girl bullshit thats out there all the time." THANKYOU KEITH!!!! finally somebody is trying to bring rock back to its true roots! having fun and rocking the hell out!
Yea this album rocks and that singer has and awesome voice...didn't get to hear it much when he was w/ everytime I die...anyways I still don't understand how people can say that certain music sucks when it's purely based on thier own opinion...all music is good!!! Just different strokes for different folks
The weird thing is that since I first heard that Andy and Joe were gonna be in a new band, coming from Fall Out Boy, I've always been meaning to listen to these guys but I just haven't till now for some reason.
@SoundlyAwakeTonight no they aren't believe me they are Metal Heads I like FOB a lot and I miss them as well but i wish each member success with they're new side projects btw I made a lyric video for "we've got a situation here" on my channel check it out thanks!!
@mikelazer1 Same, I met Kieth and Joe afterwards, then had to run for the train so i couldn't meet the rest unfortunately. First band were good, second band were absolutely shit, The Damned Things were Awesome.
Patrick was the only FOB to not be in a metal band. Pete used to do the screamo and metal in Arma Angeles and some other band. I love that these guys decided to be true to who they are as musicians and get back into metal.
Bethany Rants you have no clue what you're talking about Patrick was involved and started many different hardcore bands and has features/work on a lot of good records with good bands. WN as an example of a great feature.
@Serialkilla84 As much as I dislike Fall out bitch, I gotta say that without Joe it probably wouldnt sound the same, or there might not have been a Damned Things, cause it started with Scott Ian and Joe, NOT Scott and Rob! They sucked ass in fob, but in The Damned Things they are great! With the help of everyone else in the band of course.

Joe was just like: "I'm the guy in the band who wears a hat now."

@MarkArandjus Yea, Rob recorded the bass parts, but Josh from Everytime I Die is their bassist now.
Seeing these boys in London this weekend, stoked!
Wow never thought a mix like this would occur, but good stuff! Love the Devils Rejects reference! Such an amazing soundtrack!
Such an amazing combo of bands. Couldn't be happier
Saw you guys last night @ Sound Academy in Toronto .. blew my fkn mind... so bad ass...

honestly for as diverse they have the potential to be they end up just sounding almost exactly like etid, which is fine with me.

What is the LP style guitar that Trohman is using?
Looks like a "Steeltop" from James Trussart guitars.

@mikelazer1 Same, I met Kieth and Joe afterwards, then had to run for the train so i couldn't meet the rest unfortunately. First band were good, second band were absolutely shit, The Damned Things were Awesome.
Can we get one thing straight? It's Fall Out Boy. Not Falloutboy or Fallout Boy.
