    Something other than skinny fit for people that don’t skip leg day and don’t want to look like they’re in a boy band would be nice

      I’m looking at getting a pair of those and I’m just wondering how they fit. I wear between a 36 to 38 waist line. 38 is like my true size because it gives me a nice fit but 36 sometimes can run a little tight. My hips are a size 42 and my inseam is 30.
      Just wondering if the roadskin run true to size

    I have the Pando Moto jeans Mark Kev 02 jeans and although VERY pricy by the time I landed them in Canada, they are worth the $, very comfortable and look great on and off the bike. The front air vents though are not as useful or as good as the similar vents in my Trilobite pants.

    I am looking for sand-colored jeans that are not slim-fit, rather straight or comfort fit (can't put on slim due to leg muscles). Normally I wear size 34/L32.
    Choosing between John Doe Defender Mono and Rev'it Davis TF - can anyone advise if they would fit?

  • @martinfoster5163

    My favourites aren’t featured at all. The RST tech pro x-kevlar are 5 star MOTOCAP rated part lined cordura jeans with motion panels and a bit of stretch in the fabric itself. Level 2 armour is included. I wear them daily on my off-road rides because the ergonomics are excellent. I paid £137 shipped to Mongolia which makes them cheaper and safer than any jeans featured in your video.
    I won’t wear single layer unlined jeans because they don’t have adequate protection. AAA level is a joke test. Bennett’s have shown that single layer AAA jeans can pass with only 2 seconds (16 meters slide) on a Cambridge machine. Whereas lined or part lined jeans can exceed 10 seconds, as the RST jeans did.

    • @AusBox
      @AusBox ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They don't sell those, so of course they're going to push the models they sell.
      Motocap is a great resource. I found that my AA-rated jeans are basically useless with a 1-star abrasion result, and will be upgrading to something like the Draggin NextGen/Twista which ace the abrasion tests.

    • @martinfoster5163
      @martinfoster5163 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AusBox I’ve also 2 pairs of Draggin Holeshot jeans. These are the top performing jeans on MOTOCAP. They are fully lined with a thick kevlar/UHMWPE liner. They come with level 1 armour which I replaced with Forcefield isolator level 2. They are not suitable for hot weather but great for the colder seasons.
