SUMMON IGON THROUGH HIS SIGN NEAR WHERE YOU ENTER THE FOG DOOR. Kill the Arch-Traitor; TP back to D-Wife once Igon's rant is over and you unlock the grace. Receive your incantantion reward. Talk to her again and ADMIT YOU DRUGGED HER. Talk to her again after she dismisses you; she demands you replace her lord with yourself. Talk to her and ask her to come along. Enjoy the Ash.

For anyone impressed with Jolan and Anna, ill save you time and resources and tell you to get the sword of night instead. The performance isnt consistent with other bosses and they die off easily. Felt like i wasted a great ghost glovewort. But the lore is nice though, happy to reunite them.

I don't think I need to level up my revered spirit ashes more because the mimic tear already takes too long to die and performs way better. But everyone is free to play and use what they like. I thought a weapon was a lot more worth to add to the collection since I dont usually use summons unless a boss is giving me a really bad time. And when they do, they have crazy AOE. Jolan and Anna don't do well against that, I thought they might make some bosses easier. But I can say they can rank around the top 10 ashes. Anyways nothing I can do now but to choose the other reward on another palythrough.
@@debrie7046 Ngl, pretty awful point of comparison to not even max the revered ash. At the very least do your comparative testing in Lands Between instead so that's not a factor. The mimic tear is obviously always going to be better because it benefits from the stats of your equipment on top of the revered spirit ash bonuses, so it's naturally going to be stronger in a setting where you aren't really giving them a totally fair shake. Besides, part of the point of having two spirits is that while both are less strong than a single mimic tear, it can still help a lot for dividing aggro; Plenty of bosses can easily just stunlock your Mimic Tear because he's too stupid to make any defensive decisions, but an entire extra NPC can force the boss to swivel and attack them instead, which is exactly what happened in the showcase multiple times. They're tanky, deal good damage, and regularly guard with their shields. Obviously mimic tear depending on your build will outperform them, but I can absolutely see scenarios I'd go out of my way to get these two.

Fight a dragon field boss, after which he shows up again and compliments you and gives you his finger 4. Go to the dragon mommy and talk about Igor 3. wait until night 4. She should be asleep at night. Interact with her and you'll get an option to use that sleeping elixir 5. wait for a few days, after which she wakes up. Exhaust her dialogue. 6. Beat Bayle with Igor summoned and IMMEDIATELY teleport back to her (don't rest at the boss grace or anything, got right back to her) 7. Talk to her again and admit you gave her that sleeping elixir. 8. Keep talking to her and she'll say something like "you'll have to be my new lord now" 9. Accept and she'll give you her dragonbolt spell and disappear to give you her ashes. This does lock you out of getting her weapon and the priestess dragon heart which lets you transform into a dragon form. I think there are now video guides on this as well so it's probably better to look them up if you really want to get her ashes. Apparently she's kinda squishy but she gives her dragonbolt buff when summoned and her weapon can weaken enemies' lightning resistances.
Mimic is honestly annoying half the time though. Too many moments where the AI decides he wants to fiddle around in his pockets or needlessly stand still

Spirit summon ashes getting stunned makes the majority of them absolutley useless. This is one mechanic that I absolutely hate in game, some summons can't get a chance to do any damage because everything stuns them.
Sad that i couldn't get ancient dragon spirit sumoon. i was doing the quest for her but not sure how it failed, perhaps it is because i kept on trying to fight Bayle and eventually I won without her blessing being active or that Igon died during the fight. After I won i went to her only to find her dragon heart lying on the ground...
I haven't even met her but I already love Florissax. Wish we had more spirit ashes who pledged themselves to us when they died. It'd give some meaning to the Lord title and some flavor to summoning ashes.

Jolan and Anna, and Horned Warrior seem to be the only true contenders. Arguably, Mimic tear is bad because unless it spams the raw meat dumplings, it's unlikely to survive against any of the bosses you would need it at (Final bosses, messmer, relanna etc). Horned Warrior has both damage, bulk, and has incredibly high poise which gaurantees he will ALWAYS be useful in any fight, since almost nothing stops him from just wailing on an enemy, and his damage is no joke at all. It completely depends on your build if Mimic Tear is better, but I find it very unlikely against the hardest bosses that mimic tear outputs enough dps to compete with Jolan and Anna/Horned Warrior. Simply because unless they are built for bleed or etc they can't do much in terms of real damage.
@@Kizen. Just set it up properly,mine constantly throws out 3k aows against final boss and even more from occasional status procs. At worse the broken ai doesn't spam it enough but still a lot better than npcs

Something i like about Jolan and Anna is what i wanted from 2 spirit ashes from the base game to be, upgrading the spirit ash in a special way making it a double summon, imagine if we could do that with our boys Oleg and Engvall, fusing them together and change to "Wings of the Storm: Oleg and Engvall" just at it says on their lore, but is obvious we didn't get that because the boys could easily make the game a cake walk
The Stone smith with a minor erdtree H.O.T. could probably solo most bosses lol I also hate how The big mouth imp in the catacombs wont move at all and spam its ranged attack at you,but when you summon one it just says" Fuck that,we throwing hands" and fucking dies.
Clen up ur bags, magics, equips... use only the strong weapon/spell and the mimic still shinning high as fuc# dps... more itens do you have equipped less damage the mimic does.
Did anyone notice a change in AI since DLC release? The bosses aggro the player more often, even if someone else is attacking them.

It completely depends on your build if Mimic Tear is better, but I find it very unlikely against the hardest bosses that mimic tear outputs enough dps to compete with Jolan and Anna/Horned Warrior. Simply because unless they are built for bleed or etc they can't do much in terms of real damage.
Mimic gets another heal from marika blessing now, be careful you dont use it yourself tho

@@Kizen. Just set it up properly,mine constantly throws out 3k aows against final boss and even more from occasional status procs. At worse the broken ai doesn't spam it enough but still a lot better than npcs
@@yuch4eve The Horned Warrior does like 1k+ dmg per hit and spams out attacks like crazy while having infinite poise.

Something i like about Jolan and Anna is what i wanted from 2 spirit ashes from the base game to be, upgrading the spirit ash in a special way making it a double summon, imagine if we could do that with our boys Oleg and Engvall, fusing them together and change to "Wings of the Storm: Oleg and Engvall" just at it says on their lore, but is obvious we didn't get that because the boys could easily make the game a cake walk

The Stone smith with a minor erdtree H.O.T. could probably solo most bosses lol I also hate how The big mouth imp in the catacombs wont move at all and spam its ranged attack at you,but when you summon one it just says" Fuck that,we throwing hands" and fucking dies.
Clen up ur bags, magics, equips... use only the strong weapon/spell and the mimic still shinning high as fuc# dps... more itens do you have equipped less damage the mimic does.
Every spirit has weakness and strength. For example, spirit Fingercreeper's weakness is fire, but strong physical strength.
Jolan and Ann not too bad, taking like 60%ish hp? Can proc bleed ??? Brudah that's a gank squad

I think latenna was nerfed. She no longer attacks from great distances, the enemy has to get really close and most times she wont even react
if you do test all in same boss will be soo much better ..... but at the end you did v good job and big help thank you
