I used to work for Swift trucking company mechanic I prefer KW over Peterbilt any day working as a mechanic I worked on Peterbilts Freightliner a few kw's I really like Kenworth they make better looking trucks

Have never seen semi's pulling but have seen the tractors and the 4wheel drive trucks when I used to go to the county fair with my dad growing up. Love watching the coal pour out of those bad boys, Thanks for bringing back some great memories,

Saw a lot of tractors/trucks from my area. Perfect storm, red rattler, old red, craigmyle cab over. A lot horsepower there from Grant/Owen County Ky.
Used to go to the tractor and truck pull's as a kid. Way better in person how loud some of them get the camera just can't give you the same experience. I've seen where the mic stops working on some of those modded-class tractors because they're so loud.

I will never understand the obsession people have with Peterbilt trucks. I've owned one Peterbilt and 3 Kenworths, my Peterbilt was a 379 big hood with the American Class interior, true ultra sleeper. It was loaded, but it was loud inside, the interior couldn't hold a candle to a VIT Kenworth. I guess people that don't care for a Kenworth, obviously have never driven one. They're a better truck hands down.
You clearly dont work on your own trucks then. Id rather work on a pete over a kw ANYDAY

@@jasondrinovsky7962 Yeah the "general" maintenance is basically the same between the two. You must not have been into kenworth dash wiring and crossmemeber work. Lets not forget about changing shocks on the 8 bag suspension where u can ONLY use a wrench. You can keep that shit
@@hunterstanfield7100 General maintenance is shocks, brakes, wheel seals, tires etc. You are a dipshit. Ya, I have been in the dash and done wiring, I have changed bunk shocks and bunk air bags, and also shocks and Airbags on 8 bag and 4 bag suspension. It's called penetrating oil. Any truck owner that takes care of their equipment has this in their sidebox, and uses it. So, I will keep this shit, cause a Kenworth is a better built and better looking truck in my opinion. I've got my outlook, you've got yours.
Don't matter the name on the hood but the driveline you want, I run a 2000 378 with a C16 with a 20918B with 52k rears, my friend has a 2000 W900B with same specs, both do the same work, lowboy!

If you want to go pulling, a suggestion is an Mack with an E9. Still affordable, strong, and parts are available.
1 2..... The E9's (V8) have generally "survived" with better longevity after they're "built", than the Cats do. The "strongest" (able to hold the torque) engines in the professional Super Semi class of the NTPA, ECP Associations, are the Cummins KTA/QSX19 of course with the longest stroke. Horsepower wise, they're pretty much all in the 3,500 - 4K +/- range (Pro Semi points class pullers), with torque generally around 4,400 - 5,000 lb ft +/-..... but again, how long the engine can "hold" that torque is totally dependent on it's stroke length... with overall gearing ratio, adding or subtracting to it's ability to put that power to the ground. You don't want to gear the same for a "soft" pull track (all county fair and some of the lesser known pulling assoc. tracks), as you would for a "hard" track... like at all the NTPA / ECPA points tracks.

Hank and "The Scrapper" pretty much dominate the truck pulls around PA and Maryland in their class. When it's on they're hard to touch.

Fire extinguisher guys are a bunch of rerods hitting that turbo manifold like that, hope it didn’t crack, I’ve seen guys like this hit brake rotors and then they shatter. That truck owners team wasn’t happy.
You mock the macks yet one of the best pulling semi's in my opinion is a mack superliner called the buckeye bulldog back when Jr collins was driving it out of it's 25 year career it was the ntpa super semi champion 5 times and runner up a few times plus it put on a hell of a show
