I do agree with you. I went to both FA cup wins (Fulham and Arsenal) back in the day. And I have to say, the Conference final was deffo a happy time. But everything around it, especially afterwards, has been hard to live with.

Watching how quickly the club fell apart after our best ever top flight finish, how John Lyall and Billy Bonds were treated, nothing ever surprises me about our club anymore. Unless the unthinkable happens and Sullivan lets the football people deal with everything football related, nothing will ever change no matter how good the players are, no matter how good the manager is, no matter how good good the Tech Director and other supporting staff are we will always be a mess as a club. Baffles me why Sullivan employed Steidten in the first place if he wasn't gonna give him power & responsibility. The problem now is that the firewall that Sullivan had (in Wormtongue Moyes) has gone, so he will act more capriciously. At some point this season, sooner than we think (as we kick around the relegation spots) the DOF and the Spanish manager are going to quit or be pushed. Sullivan will then revert to type; and then state "Well I did try to satisfy you!" All the time laughing, because this is not football to him, it's a pure profit and power-trip! It always was. We have been played! Nothing is going to change until Sullivan has gone. I'm not impressed with The Amazing Kreskin either. So we either all unite together and try and push the ba**** owners out, or withdraw support, no other options. The circus never ends.

Sorry mate 2-3 away to Liverpool!
