    The background sounds alone tell me where you are. The constant sounds of car horns and crows. Loving seeing how you document Nepal/kathmandu/thamel, one of my favourite places to travel to. Trip number 10 coming up in 2025.

    Hi Pierre, very enjoyable video this was, it had a bit of everything. You have a great ability to know which photo will be suitable for Black and White. The photo of those big clouds where the Birds flew over looked like Marshmallow clouds. Love both the day and night photography looks like you had fun. You always remember a nice place where the people are friendly, and is a place where you will return to. It was Gnarly, thanks Pierre.

    Damn your pronunciation of durbar square was very accurate, also Nepali is very guesture based language so if you like point at yourself and them while asking "photo??" they will understand also we nod our head a lot instead of saying yes. And if you wanna say nice or you look nice or something looks nice, just say dami (roughly translates to "nice") with a emphasis on the middle part so something like "daaami". The longer your emphasis, the nicer your "nice" is.

      @Pierretlambert  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      ohh thanks I'm noting "Dami" down!!

    Thank you Mr. Lambert for respecting the Nepalese lady’s wishes not to be photographed and even blurring her face on the video. This is the first time I saw a westerner do this in an under-developed or a developing country. There are some cultures when a person dies all the photographs and images of that person is burned, imagine the insecurity of knowing that a photograph of yours is out there in the world and proper funeral rituals are not possible when time comes.

    • @Pierretlambert
      @Pierretlambert  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      You're welcome. Honestly I'm not perfect but anyone who says no and that can be recognized I will do my best to blur :)

    I love your videos. I have a cannon 5D mk 4 and the 24-70 mm f2,8 and I’m since 4 months in south east Asia. I’m a beginner m. Always if I want to make photos or portray at daylight in 2.8 I have the problem did this sky and the background of the it’s totally blow out the sky and the clouds are like white no colours no contrast. Why does this happened? This is the reason why I don’t use it since months, but have to carry it the whole time with me. Can you give me a little bit of support? I take the mode where I can select the aperture and then I always select 2.8 if I want to take portraits or go with little bit higher if I need more depths but it’s always blow out the pictures
