Thank you for your perspective on this book. I read it on a friend’s recommendation and loved it. I missed the 7-year incremental narrative. Your suggestion to make a plot of one’s life journey on 7 year intervals is a great suggestion. I will get to work on that.
Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts. I loved this book as did the members of the book club I run. It’s interesting to see how much happens in our life when we take stock of it in 7 year lots. I first scribbled mine out on paper (as I showed in this video). Since then, I’ve rewritten the entire lot into my journal and brainstormed everything that happened in those years - plus also checked my diaries and journals over the years. I had a blog since 2007 and all those years to current day are also recorded. Since about 2012 onwards I started on social media which then became my recording platform until I left it in 2022. So my life happens ro be “scattered” on various platforms. It’s interesting to see just how much we change over the years….
Thank you. I appreciate this. When I mentioned I did this to my book club members they were surprised. No one hadn’t thought about it. Then we talked about that tv show 7 Up. 🤣
It"s been sat on my shelf for too many years. I think 2025 will be the year of reading John Boyne books. Your review has prompted me to rummage around to look for my copy. Its probably on a shelf with other books stacked in front 😊

I really enjoyed how you drew a parallel between the book you reviewed and your own life.😊

@@nourishthenewyou3251 his books are fantastic! You’re in for a ride. 📚😊
Beautiful title for the book. Evocative of the Greek Furies. My 30's were also my formative years. Interesting time, indeed.
Thank you for watching - always appreciated and hope you're well. Happy reading!
