People complaining about drag being strong in this game and just ignoring the fact that characters Asuka, Azucena and Jun exist just blows my mind tbh.
You can make a point with Jun but I don’t think Asuka and Azucena really compare to Dragunov. Asuka can be stepped, interrupted and punished, Azucena can be stepped and ducked given most her strings are high
@@chopsuey004 Drag has good frames for sure, that's how he pressures offensively. Asuka and Azucena imo has so many panic moves and so much evasive defensive options you can do that kinda makes up for it, if you're the one pressuring drag to a wall it's pretty much you're game. Again, imo. Cheers tho dude.

With regards to being Dragunov level, Jun, definitely yes. Azucena is debatable. Asuka is certainly not.
Its great to hear that its always people who have no fundamentals at best at the game that usually complain about Dragunov

Themainmanswe has a good guide, anakin also has a good guide. You can also look up optimal combos for dragunov if you’re just trying to find good damaging combos
mainman sucks. just watch couple combo videos and go play ranked. Plus, watch drag play videos like jdcr or others
@@ddlega1 I’m watching jdcr and knee now, I think the mainman is just more casual than jdcr or knee, but if you can learn based off of the in-game situations, then it is way better to watch high level players play the character you’re learning
@@foamer4068it is absolutely not better to learn from high level players. Because the high level players only get in those situations because they're high level. And since this person is new to Tekken, the most they're going to see is spam. Especially in yellow ranks or below...

People keep complaining about Dragunov being op i bet they didn't play in tekken 7s launch like Dragunov in tekken 7 launch is very crack like this one and eventually got weaker because of nerfs, adjustments and mostly because of the dlc characters. So just be patient wait for the new announcement because i have a feeling that they will target drag,reina and dvj
How come when I try to sneak cancel from FC df 1 4, it doesn’t work. When do you cancel? The way jdcr do it, it doesn’t even look like he went into sneak
You cancel right when he’s about to stand or when he’s just started standing
@@foamer4068 took me about 3hrs repeating the same buttons until I got the timing consistently. Don’t think I can do wall carry combos yet

b4,2 -> 1+2 gives you the tackle
It’s funny how drag went from actually being shit in tekken 7 and now everyone crying about him in tekken 8. I was maining him in 7 and now in 8 again.
He got some good mix ups now and his move set became more fun. Before he just felt like a generic character with some unique grabs, thats it.
Literally every character has stuff that is annoying and ‘feels’ broken. Instead of crying over it, try to learn the punishes for it and anticipate them. That is how i got over not raging when playing against azucena and yoshi 😂😂.
He was also stupidly good in Tekken 7's launch.

I don't play Tekken but it just seems like whoever gets the first knockdown wins, since you can simply juggle them from 100 to 0?
Depends on characters some can just setup mixups and snow ball but this game also does just let you make come backs easily as well
It goes both ways. It also means that there is a higher chance of comebacks happening.

@@K1DPUNK_Kaz need more execution but easier gameplan, I would suggest dvj cuz combo routes are consistent and don’t need things like pewgf or 31cancel to get massive damage and better wall carry

Drag still way too low risk high reward for how brainless he is to play. Funny stuff watching him get outplayed and just Nobi mash his way to victory.
